    My x 360 spectrum stops to get into sleep after a few hours of normal behavior.  In other words, when the computer is started first, he put on standby and Hibernate mode then normally after the specified idle period.  It can then be woken up and work normally and then to go back to sleep after inactivity - during a few hours.  It stops working after the computer has been for a few hours.  I don't know exactly how much time must be in place before this problem starts, but once it ceases to be able to sleep, the only way to solve the problem is to reboot the system.  Once the problem occurs, the computer turns off the screen but that's it.  He will sleep if I do it manually by pressing the button of power or a click on the Windows button and forcing them to sleep or hibernation.

    I watched powercfg /requests and there is nothing listed that could prevent sleep.  I ran also report with fluo compact powercfg and it also does not list something that prevents apparent sleep.

    NOTE: The energy report is also EVEN if the system still works correctly.

    I could use help to determine what is the cause of this condition.

    Thank you.  See below for diagnostic information:

    I found a thread on Microsoft answers community web site.  Unfortunately, it seems that Microsoft has not fixed even though this thread is over a year.  This has been driving me crazy.  In any case, the problem is with Windows 8.1 and is caused by the use of a Microsoft account to connect to the computer.  If the account is not connected, after a few hours the computer stops to fall asleep.  If you close the MS account, then the computer will sleep normally.  My dose is to convert my connection from the local computer to a local account and disconnect from Microsoft.  This process is easy to do, go into the settings of PC and disconnect the account.  It will keep your original profile.

    Here is the link to the thread that got clued in the solution:

    http://answers.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows/Forum/windows8_1-performance/Windows-81-refuses-to-sleep-automatically-idle/6ab4aaaf-31bd-4baf-ABC6-62ba8c8260aa?DB=5&page=2&rtAction=1452178632575

    I consider this resolved issue that HP is concerned.  Microsoft needs to address the issue.  I'm not interested in switching to Windows 10 for compatibility reasons and, in this regard, the same problem can exist in the W10.

    COUNSULTING JET 6700 / after connection to the eprint center and going into settings I filled the email from authorized users to send print jobs. Next time, I'll check authorized users only two of the five I entered are present.  Why are others deleted?

    If you have problems with ePrint Center (EPC) don't save contacts to the list of senders, I would use this process to try to get the account to save contacts.

    1. connect to ePrint Center

    2. click on the list of senders and add a normal user.

    3. click on Save after adding the address - do not sign of ePrint Center.

    4. then send an email to the printer from this sender you just added.

    5. once the e-mail has been received by the printer, disconnect and then come back in ePrint center and check the list of senders.

    If this above process does not work, it would seek to remove web services and adding it back.  This would cause one to lose their email address and need to reprint the code printer and set up the printer on the account again to the EPC.

  • eMac stops almost immediately when starting after replacing HARD drive

    Hey all!

    I need to explain a bit for this one, so please bear with me. Thank you.

    Long story short, I've had a few eMacs for quite a while now and I recently found a use for them. I created a (it is running 10.4 with 1 GB of RAM and a > G4 processor at 1 GHz, can't remember) and used it for a while before randomly power loss and refused to stay on for more than a few minutes. I tried to replace the PMU battery with one of the other Mac and pressing the reset button, which leads to stop showing signs of life whatsoever (even after the replacement of the original battery).

    Thinking I had it bricked, I got out one of the other Mac with a plan to give the disk of death. This new Mac running 10.5, perfect with another > G4 processor at 1 GHz (but only 768 MB of RAM this time). The only quirk I noticed is the TRC took abnormally long to warm up, black time with only red but gradually more luminous and no longer red colors of departure. It was about normal 5 minutes after that OSX end of initialization. In any case, I went to swap out hard drives and put everything to the top, to see that yet again, this new Mac does not work!

    If it has been awhile since the last attempt to start the CRT will do its usual "bong" noise before machine clicks (sorta like a relay of power off) and nothing else happens. If I try again, the CRT is silent (no doubt he is already warm from the last attempt to start?) and you can hear two clicks - one that looks like something to turn it on, then turn it off even on front. These clicks are different lengths apart - usually, this is only a few seconds, but sometimes longer. There was a few times where the fans have started between clicks and I've even heard the startup chime on an attempt (which got me excited - but no, it clicked and distributed repressed). The CRT does not seem to do anything other than bonging from time to time (but it can turn on - I can't say because of the problem of the warm-up that I mentioned earlier).

    I would really like to be able to resurrect this old Mac once again - I have the vague feeling that I broke it when replacing the HARD drive. I'm pretty sure that I have not forgotten all the internal cables, and I tried not to touch anything other than the HARD drive and the enclosure of the logic board (ended up having to remove the blower housing too, however). Two Macs are model A1002 and both have serial numbers in the YM412xxxxxx - YM520xxxxxx range (eligible for repair program?). I don't know if they were actually taken repair back in the day.

    In any case, I hope you guys can help out me! Thanks in advance!

    (P.S the first eMac is well beyond repair. I have also a third one - it is better to go by replacing the HARD drive again? It is worth noting that the PMU battery has been sitting on my desk for a while now. "It was probably flat anyway).

    The HARD drive would be the problem? It seems that it is.

    See if you can just unplug the data cable from HARD drive and try to hold down the alt or option to the startup/power.

  • How can I stop xfce4 - notify to arise after downloads?

    I'm using Linux with fvwm. It is not a desktop computer, it does not support notifications. After the download is complete, a dialog box appears with the title xfce4 - notify and table of contents "Full downloads - all files have completed downloading" and a button 'enable '. While I download, I have windows and work on something else. This dialog box is displayed in the window where Firefox is running and the display switches to this window to interrupt me. It's frustrating. How to stop these notifications? I looked into: config and found nothing on xfce. I've edited the preferences and disabled the download of windows, but this does not prevent the notifications. This behavior started after I left Firefox version 3, and it was on all versions since. Now run 8.0.

    I used Google and found a great blog at http://ilias.ca/blog/2005/11/turn-off-the-downloads-complete-alert-in-firefox/ that shows how to disable the alerts entry.

    Go about: config, look for this - browser.download.manager.showAlertOnComplete - entry and toggle it to false.

    I did it, tested it, it works. Frustration level is reduced to zero.

  • PostDeferredCalls stop working a few hours after the

    I have an application that communicates to multiple devices via individual threads that run essentially as while loops (1). Each thread will run periodic readings for it's device while the Scriptures are processed asynchronously via PostDeferredCallToThread() given that the Scriptures are generally generated from a separate thread. There is also a sign that is updated to the main thread via a call to PostDeferredCall. The program works well because around 2,5 hours, but then all the deferred post calls stop working. I've run in the two version and version with no difference in behavior of debugging. The functions PostDeferredCall * () are called, but target the function referencing the call is not.

    How are deferred post calls queue and it is possible to overflow the queue? I am at a loss on how to solve it. I searched through the forums and couldn't find anything related. Can anyone offer some suggestions on what I can do to try to understand what is happening? Thanks in advance.

    PS - I'm under CVI 2009 on XP pro

    I have cparker,

    I never noticed a similar behavior even in that I developed and applications that make heavy use of PostDeferredCall to pass information between threads. I don't know the size of the queues for postponed events, but they can indeed overflow as shown in this ancient knowledge base entry: Nevertheless, this causes an error to raise this rating shoud you, unless you have hidden all the warnings of error and the error is not fatal (and more, I can imagine the queue is not so limited in space) (: I am sure that the situation described in this knockout only fires due to a continuous display of messages in the queue, a situation which, in normal situations, should not met).

    I had problems in the past when using deferred calls, but each time I ended up finding another mistake that caused abuse: leaks memory, concurrent access to variables or the ports series or so...

    Are you sure all deferred calls are to honor until the system unresponsive? Could you have a gradual accumulation of calls unmanaged because of the very different calendar of reminders (very common PostDeferredCall as well as slower handling of deferred calls)? You have an error function in your verification code? Are you getting errors? What is the rate of PostDeferredCall offers? You can find the time spent managing the deferred calls and compare it with the the rate?

  • Stop button does not reset after each program start

    Newbie here, so when I start the program with the arrow of departure or, my Start button is always in the right position, but the stop button is not. How do reset you the default user as the stop button control.

    Lol it doesn't have the same effect.  They are completely different actions.  If they were the same, then NEITHER would never have created the other.  I've never seen a practical use for 'Up to this that freed'.  Read the help files on the mechanical actions to see the difference.  There is a real difference, delicate and subtle.  But there is a difference.

    If you clean the Boolean logic and put the start in case structure button.  It works very well.  See attachment.

    Hello

    Try Safe Mode - several times, press F8 that you start.

    Do a restore of the system to a point before that happened

    If it is still stuck in Mode safe:

    I guess that part of the question could be a driver which is really old or similar should not be loaded.

    This exit Windows updates on (after you have access) and stop the updates of the driver to load.

    You can use the solutions in this KB - 3 methods and I listed a little help for them below

    The update is not installed successfully, you receive a message, and the computer restarts when you try to
    install an update in Windows Vista

    You can also do a restore of the system of starting with a Vista disk.

    Method 3: Rename the Pending.xml file, and then change the registry (this method is part of the advanced troubleshooting)

    See article below for that.

    You can use this method on the updates that have this problem.

  • Computer stops in 3-5 minutes after startup

    Boots, slowly, but eventually the boots completely.  Stop with no warning, no error message.  Windows restore does not, but Control Panel, Explorer open straight.  Both the monitor and CPU at the same time stop.  Starts in routine diagnostic Dell, but runs out of time before that anything can be verified.  All CP/power options are set to never.  Comp was woking OK, without recent changes / installs.  A few days before all this started OK ran Windows Security Essentials. Win XP SP3

    Appreciate any suggestions.

    Thanks to all - those of you who wanted to return to material/heat were ahead of me, but you were right.  Finally got down and dirty, the plastic part that holds the main processor heat sink clips had broken, allowing the heatsink for the CPU.

    A new heat sink retaining clip, a little fat and we are back in the business.   Thanks to all - help each comment.

    THX once again

  • Remote PC stops responding when the lines are added to a multiline textbox

    Hello

    When connected two RDP connections and multiline textbox is visible and always up-to-date (e.g. time real record on the screen), then all other processes and threads are suspended on the remote PC. For example, the task manage does not refresh, the clock stops, if you have a few applications running on this PC Server/services so their customers will get the writing/connect timeout errors, etc.

    to reproduce this problem:

    1. create a test application simulating recording in real time on the screen. For example, create a new GUI application (for example, in visual basic, delphi, etc.), several (for example six) textbox, control and set multiline = true (or use TMemo components in delphi), add the button and code to add rows in a loop (for example 200 iterations) these textbox/TMemo controls (see the sample code below). Build the executable

    2. have three PC of loan. The first connect to second via RDP and from there linking to third parties via a second RDP connection. Third PC start test application, that you created in step 1. While the lines are added to the multiline/TMemo text box, try to do something with this PC, for example open the Task Manager, check how it is refreshing, open clock and note how seconds are proliferating, try to connect to some services from another PC (shared disk for example, ftp, web, etc.) and see how to answer they are

    Windows 2000 seems to be ok, xp, 7, Server 2003/2008 have some problems

    is there something that we could do to make the third-party application with real-time logging to the multiline/TMemo text box does not slow down or suspend our services that are running on the same PC, when someone connect via RDP? also, it would be great if microsoft could fix this problem

    example code:

    For i As Integer = 1 to 200
    Dim s As String = «»
    J As Integer = 1 to 10
    Convert.ToString (i) & s = s & ""
    Next J
    TextBox1.AppendText (s & Chr (13) & 10)

    J As Integer = 1 to 10
    Convert.ToString (i) & s = s & ""
    Next J
    TextBox2.AppendText (s & Chr (13) & 10)

    J As Integer = 1 to 10
    Convert.ToString (i) & s = s & ""
    Next J
    TextBox3.AppendText (s & Chr (13) & 10)

    J As Integer = 1 to 20
    Convert.ToString (i) & s = s & ""
    Next J
    TextBox4.AppendText (s & Chr (13) & 10)

    J As Integer = 1 to 20
    Convert.ToString (i) & s = s & ""
    Next J
    TextBox5.AppendText (s & Chr (13) & 10)

    J As Integer = 1 to 20
    Convert.ToString (i) & s = s & ""
    Next J
    TextBox6.AppendText (s & Chr (13) & 10)
    Next I

    var
    i: Integer;
    s:string;
    Start
    for i: = 1 to 200 start
    s:='';
    While length<20 do="" s:="s+intToStr(i)+'">
    glMemo1.Lines.Add (s);

    While length<40 do="" s:="s+intToStr(i)+'">
    glMemo2.Lines.Add (s);

    While length<60 do="" s:="s+intToStr(i)+'">
    glMemo3.Lines.Add (s);

    While length<80 do="" s:="s+intToStr(i)+'">
    glMemo4.Lines.Add (s);

    While length<100 do="" s:="s+intToStr(i)+'">
    glMemo5.Lines.Add (s);

    While length<200 do="" s:="s+intToStr(i)+'">
    glMemo6.Lines.Add (s);
    end;
