  Replying to my own posts, I was able to sideload edge inspect on the HP Slate 7 and IT WORKS PERFECTLY.

  There is no reason for the game Google to reject 7 Slate to install it!

  ... but I think you will need to sign in with your Adobe ID to get there. The free version only allows you to have one device connected at a time, but there is no time limit and all the features like screenshots and remote inspection are enabled.

• Inspect edge synchronization of content, but not styles

  I've got inspect/synchronization running edge, but no style come however when you view a local site. I can go on www.google.com and it will look like is expected, but when going to localhost/MySite I get just glad - no style.

  Any ideas? Here's what I'm running:

  Windows 7 Ultimate

  Chrome 23.0.1271.97

  4.0.4 Android

  It turns out that WordPress (who accidentally, I forgot to mention that I use almost all the time) generates URLS in a way aboard to inspect can not handle. To resolve this problem, I got the IP address listed under Chrome extension and change localhost in the "General settings" in the WordPress admin area. You end up having to log in again, but a fast refresh and I get results!

• How do I make it my homepage back to MSN USA or UK MSN aggressive dominant HK site when it isn't even a language tab or translate anywhere in sight? Everything is in Chinese!

  I have Windows 7 and use Firefox.  I tried everything I know, but am still unable to change my homepage to the English version.  It's not just MSN HK to assume that just because we are in Hong KONG, we all know the Chinese language.  I think this should be seen in the background by MSN Center because this persistent problem could make MSN users to turn to other suppliers, as I think too much to do if I can't solve this problem.

  Hi, after looking at the html code, and other information for each topic, skin, master page, image, settings, project settings, the stylesheet, the file of a baggage car (javascript to add a "print" key to exit), all options under heading properties (such as unused files), my output (webhelp) configuration and other settings for my new project of webhelp , I can't seem to locate the source of the next 'generate' warning that I get:

  Copying files...

  Warning: "C:\users\me\desktop\My new Project\F:\XYZ_folder\Documentation\xyz_index.pdx" impossible to copy in "C:\users\me\desktop\My_Generated_Output\F:\XYZ_folder\Documentation\xyz_index.pdx".   reason: source does not exist.

  The help system seems to generate properly, but whence this warning? I have reviewed all the files I can see, as mentioned above, and nowhere I see no reference to the external file somewhere on the disk f. (the file, BTW, exists, but is not part of my project). There are no broken links.

  You may be wondering if I created this project using an existing project and Yes, I did, but I've deleted almost all subjects of this project and also revisited and cleaned (if necessary) the master page, css.

  What I forget? :-(

  (My apologies if you have already tried this. "It is always difficult to know what exactly people did before posting, despite the provided info.)

  Maybe try to find and replace in files (Ctrl + Shift + F in RH11) to see what files contain the reference to the file.

  Find: xyz_index.pdx

  Search in: current project

  Files of type: *. * (this will search js, hts, pss etc. files, no htm files only)

  Expand "Display options" and check "include subfolders."

  Find out all and see which files are returned. That might give you a clue where to look. But be very very careful because this query will display the files behind the scenes that you must be careful to change. In addition, if you build in a subfolder of your project (for example by default! SSL! folder) you can get a bunch of output files returned - you should ignore these for the moment that you just want to find where it is referenced in the source.

• Site Web isn't even in Internet Explorer

  I have a site that I just discovered has ceased to appear in any version of Internet Explorer. Shows just a white screen. It seems to be fine in all other browsers, but it's a white screen Uni in any version of Internet Explorer. It is a site-wide problem and not limited a page o.

  Here is the information of one of our engineers on the use of edge inspect and Typekit:

  "Unfortunately, it seems that you run in a situation where Edge inspect and Typekit fit very well. I'll explain a little more and then offer suggestions to work around the problem.

  When you are browsing a local website via the host name "localhost", which is not accessible to any other devices on your network, edge inspect automatically gets the local IP address of your machine (which is not the same as the external IP address as shown on sites like whatismyip.com) who sent to mobile applications. For example, let's say I have a Sinatra in Chrome app on my Mac as http://localhost:4567. My iPhone would not be able to understand the host name "localhost", but he can see my Mac using its address IP 10.1.10.1, to inspect the edge navigates to http://10.1.10.1:4567.

  So, to get the fonts to work, you could add time 'localhost' and ' 10.1.10.1' to your Kit. However, we recommend adding IPs local to the kits because they tend to change without warning. (In my example above, the next time I turn on my computer to its IP address may have changed to 10.1.10.2, but all I know is that fonts had stopped working on my devices again).

  To work around this problem, we recommend that use a form of "dynamic DNS" - basically, a domain name that is automatically updated with your current IP address and therefore will always point to your computer.

  If you are using a Mac, the simplest thing would be to use the host name of your Mac Hello. Hello is a technology built into Mac OS X and iOS to help each other devices automatically find on networks.

  To find your host name of Hello:

  1. open on your Mac system preferences.
  2. choose the share icon.
  3. your host name hello will appear in the upper part, under the "Computer name" field

  You can add the host name that appears in your kit and use it on any Apple device on your network. For example, my name is Hello my - MBP.local, in order to access http://My-MBP.local:4567 on a Mac or an iOS device and see my app to Sinatra.

  Unfortunately, this simple solution will work on Apple or Windows PC devices with an Apple Hello software installed, you cannot use this hostname with Android phones or tablets. If you need a host name that works on any device, there are a few options, I recommend you:

  1. a third party called before service is a way to easily redirect ports on your computer to other devices anywhere on the internet. You can learn more about them and sign up for a trial of 30 days here: https://forwardhq.com. Before you give a domain name standing for your transmitted app that you can add to your kit, as 'dev - yourcompany.fwd.wf»

  2 37signals has a free 'wildcard DNS"service called xip.io which will automatically forward the traffic to a local IP address. You can get your current local IP address by opening system preferences, then choosing network. The IP address must be included in the text in small characters under the status of connection for the connection is active (i.e. has a green dot next to it). Once you have the IP address, you can access your computer to [YOUR IP address]. XIP. IO. for fonts working, add *. xip.io to your kit. Remember that your IP address may change, so if your site continues to be accessible, you should check to make sure that you have the correct IP address.

  Personally, I use xip.io if I need to test Typekit on multiple devices using edge inspect. This certainly isn't the easiest to use, option but it works very well with almost no setup, and it's free.

  We will work to make the experience to use Typekit and inspect the edges together better in the future, but I hope these suggestions will help out you at the moment. »

  Howdy,

  Looking for some suggestions to configure Edge inspect properly so I am able to see my served Typekit fonts.

  My current setup is this w/MAMP Pro http://cl.ly/image/0W2H1E1Q2P2T (http://cl.ly/image/0W2H1E1Q2P2T)

  This is a configuration of a project based lithium, so I need to work this way in order to view the site locally. Change the name of the server to something custom as mysite.local doesn't seem to work so far with edge inspect only localhost (especially since Cree MAMP home).

  Currently, if I add my local IP address to the Typekit kit settings my fonts still don't to inspect loading not on Edge.

  Ahh... Cool.

  Inspect edge uses Webview to render the pages which is a stock browser. WebView has some quirks related to text rendering. It makes the font by default the system when the rendering of text that has the attribute CSS 'text-rendering' value 'optimizeLegibility' or 'geometricPrecision '.

  There is a bug already logged for Andorid.

  I'm not asking how everything is Plug and get what I see on my desk to show my device plugged. I've got that part down.

  Basically, I'm trying to decide between creating a web application and creating a hybrid application. To design and test QA purposes, trying to figure how to inspect edge visited the unit. I know the extension Chrome must be installed for all that work, then it is displayed on the device with the Chrome rendering engine? Or is Edge inspect from rendering of the device's operating system?

  This is important because a web application would require tests on different mobile browsers for a consistent experience, but an application hybrid should just test it on a few different OS you choose to support. If Edge inspect emule more like a soft, I'll most likely go with a hybrid application. If this isn't the case, I intend to try the road of web application.

  If I understand what you say, there is a slight correction, that I would like to make - it is true that rendering applications depending on the operating system and a web application will make depending on the browser you are using.

  But when inspect the edge makes web pages, it uses components WebView/UIWebView native browsers versions on the devices are essentially reduced. Therefore rendering you see beachfront inspect virtually identical to what you would see in the native browser on the device.

  If you're wondering which would be more easily & precisely verifiable using edge inspect, it is going to be a web application created using HTML/CSS/JavaScript.

• Is Edge inspect the desktop to the internet connection sharing (for example, VPN) or just the same WIFI network?

  I'm asking because on my work VPN all our screening sites are behind the firewall and so curious if my android device running the Dashboard Viewer inspect also share this VPN connection or if the cutting-edge office essentially comes the camera to a normal URL? The unit doesn't have native VPN access.

  I am unable to test this, because our company blocks all Chrome extensions, and before I go through a long process to unlock this particular extension I just want to see if it would work I described.

  Inspect edge relies on your local network for communication. Many VPN services will seal your machine connected to your local network when the VPN tunnel is open. Inspect edge does not work in this situation. Ask your VPN administrator to determine if there are parameters that will allow you to access your local network when connected to the VPN. Yes, the desktop application pointing devices to the url and the url must be accessible by the network device is connected to.

  In addition, Port 7682 is required by Edge inspect. If another application or service is using this port, you must reconfigure either to use a different port or close Edge to inspect work.

  I sent the file:

  Users / [username] / Library/Preferences/Adobe/Edge inspect

  in the trash. Has restarted the app and the same thing. Inspect edge seems to start, made a new pref folder, then breaks down in 3 seconds.

  I'm currently busy building site in dreamweaver using checkerboard fluid. When I test the site I'll > Preview in browser > google chrome and can see my site perfectly.   You use a local server while working with Dreamweaver (something like MAMP)? If this isn't the case, then inspect will not be able to complete your project. Devices to aid inspection must have access to the file that you are trying to preview and if this file is just on your file system (for example, shows something like file:\\\ in the location bar in Chrome) or if it uses localhost (http://localhost or maybe http://127.0.01 in the URL bar) devices do not.

  You can try to set up a MAMP Server or we also inspect Edge supports with advantage Code you can preview your project on mobile devices.

  I just got an iPhone 7 and when I associated my watch it I realized that I had never updated the watch to monitor OS 3. So I did it. Now, a third-party application email (my mail), which isn't even an app, that I put on my watch, push notifications to my watch, despite the fact that I put the mirror app is not my iPhone. This iphone app is the one I use for what I call my spam account. These aren't urgent personal emails. That's 40% off at the Gap stuff. I don't want to turn off notifications on my phone, but I really want to stop my wrist of buzzing with these dumb e-mails nonstop. Any ideas of what I can do to stop a third-party application from mirroring my phone, when I use the rocker to say don't mirror phone doesn't seem to be enough?

• How can I access my file archive when it is not even on my list of files?

  Open Thunderbird.
  Right click on your account name in the left pane.
  Click settings.
