Recently I bought a sony led tv, I tried to connect a tv on my laptop hdmi cable but I couldn't find any port hdmi in, considering that he got a vga port through which I can access my laptop to TV, but still he can not play videos from hdmi. I'm beginning to learn how to connect a cable to hdmi on my laptop. Can this laptop support module 2 x 2 GB RAM and 4 GB of RAM? This laptop has Intel Pentium T2060, and I want to know if this upgrade is supported. I can even buy new windows if 4 GB of RAM is possible because I think that 4 GB is not supported by 32 bits, I'm right?

  It depends on what BIOS version works on your laptop.

  HP has removed links to all previous version BIOS updates and only has the last listed.

  If I remember correctly, I think that your laptop must be executed v F.25 find to install 2 x 2 GB memory in your laptop.

  The problem is that if you're not, you can't update the BIOS because you are under W7 and the flash is only good for Vista.

  If you Flash the BIOS in windows 7, you won't have to worry about the amount of memory your laptop can run because you need a new laptop computer.

  If you have BIOS F.25 v or more recent version installed, you can install 2 x 2 GB memory, but you will not have to use all 4 GB.

  Probably between 3 and 3.25 GB will be usable, but at least it will run in DDR mode as you sync capabilities.

  The laptop processor can run a 32-bit operating system.  It is capable of 64-bit No.

  And it wouldn't matter anyway.  Even if you had a T7200 in there you would still only get to use the same GB 3 - 3.2 even with a 64-bit operating system.

  Your laptop uses memory DDR2 PC5300.

  True, you have a slot of the WSSD. Here is the Manual:

  The problem for you, is that this slot machine is designed only to be used as a location of "Accelerator" for Intel Rapid Storage Technology technology cache drive. There are many barriers to the use of this slot to contain a large drive and use it as a boot drive with a regular reader of 2.5 inch SATA or SSD. For example, you cannot start the mssd if a regular 2.5 inch SATA is present. There are complex solutions that have been developed, but for most people, if you want that the speed of the SSD simply install a 2.5 inch SATA SSD. If you need more help or really want to try to set up the WSSD as OS disk I can direct you to the vast library of messages here on this topic before, but most of them is sticky at the top of the upgrades of the laptop and Notebook Hardware boards.

  need help.  I have a borked operating system and wanted to use the F: dell recovery partition to restore to the factory specifications.

  can someone tell me the key combination to access the system restore option?  I tried everything I can think but not ended that upward with cursor flashing at the top left.

  I am able to hit f2 or f12 and enter a bios or boot selection, but I can't restore the option of one of these places.  Not able to hit f8 to enter the mode without fail for some reason any.  go right at the blinking cursor.

  I am ready to wipe completely and install from scratch, but hoped to make the easy way.  :)

  4 GB is the maximum taken in charge, 'accessible to your programs' lies between 2.5 and 3.75 GB - with all that above 3.25 GB being questionable.

  We have vostro 200 at work that can support 8 gb (officially only 4 GB supported).

  the vostro 230 s can take 8 gb as well supported (but memory ddr3)... The vostro 200 and 220 used ddr2 memory.

  For the towers slim; I can assure you that...

  Vostro 200 have 4 memory slots and ddr2 (tested up to 8 GB)

  Vostro 220's only 2 memory slots and ddr2 (untested maximum)

  Vostro 230's only 2 memory slots and ddr3 (tested up to 8 GB)

  I was unable to find a link to any mention of an upgrade memory 16 GB installed with a Google search.

  Which makes me think that there probably won't be a successful upgrade.
