  As mentioned in your other thread today, it would be helpful if you could post your exact version of db.
  Samples of work would be appreciated too, the XML data, you gave are not correct.

So you go into Manager for all of these research and device drivers manually. Then, you look for in C/windows/winsxs. Then the wireless mouse/keyboard should work.

  According to Oracle advises has resolved it as follows.

  It is a failure with OutOfMemory. Increase the memory allocated for the process of the bsu. Change the following line in bsu.cmd

  MEM_ARGS =-Xms256m-Xmx512m set

  TO

  Set MEM_ARGS =-Xms1024m-Xmx1024m

  Basically, you will need to open bsu.cmd in Notepad, and then change the setting above. And then again run. And it will work.

• Install printers network without Local administrator rights in windows 7

  I need enable general users select the printers on our field network and install them without administrator password prompt. is it possible. or the administrator needs to install permanently. It is a feature of windows built-in to protect the pc from things being installed on this subject. I tried a few soultions and none of them worked. I tried to allow non-administrative install and put the GUID for printer in there, and it did not work. the only way I can get this to work is by adding the drivers on the PC as an administrator and then the local user can install the printer. because the driver is already installed.

  It worked for me... found this after I posted above. hope this helps some of you having the same problem. I did it on my local pc not the domain GPO if it would work in two places.

  There are TWO settings of "Restrictions of Point and print"

  • Computer Configuration/policies/Administrative Templates/printers/Restrictions point and print
  • User Configuration/policies/Administrative Templates/Control Panel configuration/Printers/Point and Print Restrictions
  Of these two, under the Computer Configuration seems to be an important. But guess what? The original Server 2008 does not include this parameter in the list - you must Server 2008R2 for this setting is displayed. If you download the Server 2008 R2 administration models, extract and copy to C:\Windows\sysvol\domain\Policies\PolicyDefinitions PolicyDefinitions folder, this missing policy will magically appear in the Group Policy Management Editor.   I use your <>- server API to subscribe to a node in the collection.  I want only the updates for a particular node, so I'm including that in the call to subscribeCollection.  However, I unexpectedly get updates for all other nodes in the node collection.

  My call looks like this (in Ruby):

  am.subscribeCollection ("'room', 'UserManager', ' UserList")

  In the low-COST airlines server code, this translates a URL that includes the following in the query string:

  ... & collection = UserManager & node = UserList...

  My questions are:

  (1) just to double check, is the 'node' the correct parameter on the query string? (I wanted to just make sure that it isn't something like "nodeNames" instead since that is what is used in the ActionScript API).

  (2) is there anything else I need to do to receive only UserList updated and does not receive many updates for all other nodes in the UserManager?

  To subscribe to a single node is currently not implemented in the back. The language he exhibited at the front end, but the value is ignored.

  I suggest that you extend your "receiver" class to ignore the values of the nodes, you don't care.

• Can't map network drives via a RDP to Windows Server 2012 connection

  I have yet to find a definite answer on this topic, so I hope that someone will have encountered it here.

  Access us an application on a remote server of 2012 hosted through RDP connections in two different sites.  This application outputs files in a folder that I need mapped to Windows 7 PC local.  After the RDP connection, I go to Windows Explorer and you try to map a network drive using a UNC name, for example: \\IP address\D$ \folder name and check the box "use different credentials.

  At this point, what happens depends on what profile of I use.  If I use the profile that was created when installing Windows Server (admin profile) it works fine.  If I use any other profile, or another admin profile, it does not work, and I can't understand why?

  During the inspection, the two profiles admin seem to be the same!

  I know that I can map drives the other direction (take my drives mapped with me RDP) but this is not acceptable because several PC (on different sites) will be locally run software that needs a path set for the location of the files, that creates the remote app.

  Any advice will be appreciated.

  Are you sure that you have installed a Windows Server 2008 R2?

  Because the normal procedure is that after the installation, you will get a prompt to choose an administrator password. Once you are connected.
