  I work in it and I'm trying to install Adobe CS6 - Design and Web Premium on a new laptop for a user. I already asked the user to uninstall CS6 of his current machine to release the license, I want to use it on the new machine. I use a CD to install the software, the installation is fine until it reaches 99% with an error message "failed to check the genuine Adobe software. The product you want to install is not a true software of Adobe and seems to be false.

  I tried to run the application as an administrator, but it makes no difference. Is there something that I am missing?

I tried installing on another computer using Windows 7 without any problem, so I tend to believe that the problem is with Windows 7 on my machine. I recently had to do a clean install of the original operating system (Vista) and then to reload my upgrade to Windows 7. I tried to close all programs, including my Microsoft Security Suite and reinstall with the same result. I also tried to rename the Files\Common\Adobe\OOBE to OOBE.bak and resettlement program. I got the same result. I checked the logs of the fatal errors and did not. Any suggestions on how to fix this?   Just install and activate it.  If you need to download the installation files, you can do so on the link below.

  Your license allows you to have two active facilities, so if you have only one, you can always install on another machine without touching the original installation.  If you do not want the original installation, then you should disable at least opening one of the applications and selecting help-> Deactivate.
