  2 days ago, I bought creative cloud for students and tried to install photoshop, illustrator, indesign, and lightroom on my MacBook Air (13 inch, mid 2013) running OSX El Capitan (ver. 10.11.5).   I also tried to install directly from the site Web Adobe - my serial code was denied, but I only used it on my old laptop, so it is supposed to work again.

  It seems equally clear that Adobe did the download of older products as difficult as possible for past clients.  This is ridiculous. I spent hours trying to get this to work and have gotten nowhere.  Does anyone have advice for me?

  This is a "feature". In Sys Prefs, you can choose between the store and known to the developers. You can always choose to open a pkg app or an unknown dev by ctrl-click Installer, and then by selecting open from the menu. You will get a dialog with an option to open the application.   I understand you are trying to install apps on your SD card instead of internal storage.

  Unfortunately, this is not a feature available on any Android device that does not have root access.

  There are methods available, but most require rooting the device, or by using the APKs HP could not support or encourage.

  I could solve this problem by resetting the phone app to device information.

  If you have this problem, click the reset Options button and choose Delete Apps & data. This will reset your phone and hopefully solve the problem.
