  Your kernel is NOT linux-image - 2.6.26 but (of output) 2.6.30 - bpo.1 - 686

  We have installed WebLogic Server 12.1.3 on Linux x86_64 file fmw_12.1.3.0.0_wls.jar whithout any errors.

  Then load URL handler company fusion middleware control http:// < Host >: 7001/em we received 404 (not found) error

  There are no links, files and dir with EM on the host in/oracle/middleware.

  According to the documentation, it must be installed and worked after you start WebLogic server.

  Please, please help me understand it y it, or how we can install it.

  Should which version of windows server I use? Linux wouldn't be better?
  
  10.1.2.0.2 is correct to install application server? I'd better go directly to the Server Application 11 g?
  
  What version JDK should I install on the server? What JRE must be installed on the client computer?

  10.1.3 has forms and reports.
  In regard to forms and reports, I daresay that 10.1.2 and 11 g is the same version, just a Java different container, with regard to the engine for services, so it could be the same work from 6 to 10 or 11.

  As far as I have been unsing WebLogic, I can say is slightly more complex to use, because of the product have not been full integrated and administration is a bit more complex because of this.

  But as I say before 10.1.2 is about to be out of support which could be my decition point, not to mention that they are the same.

  I have to install Application server 10g and include it in the R12. And as for 10.1.3 update.
  I can't install THAT 10g on Sun SPARC 10, which has installed R12.
  I never installed the application server. I read some messages responded by legend Hussein, got an idea of why you need to install the application server.
  Could any please give some docs metalink for Application server installation and upgrade to 10.1.3.

  It is not possible to install a new 10g AS server and use for forms/States. You can use the other features of 10gAS and integrate it to R12 as explained in these documents.

  Hello. I install PeopleTools 8.53 with the server database Oracle 11 GR 1 material and OS Oracle Linux 5. WebLogic Server and Oracle database server running properly.
  Data Mover Bootstrap and application designer can connect to the instance of database successfully.

  I installed the tuxedo11gR1 application server correctly. I have set up and start the PT8.53 domain as below, but it will not start.

  I address the issue of startup Application Server Domain PT853 while the database server is listening as below:

  First of all, GenMessageBox (200, 0, M): PS General SQL Routines: version SQL library libpsora64 missing or invalid (200.0)
  Second, GenMessageBox (0, 0, M): Signon database: could not sign database PT853 with user PSADMIN.

  
  I create a symlink in/home/user/OracleDB_Home/lib and /lib32 as below:

  GenMessageBox (0, 0, M): Signon database: invalid user or password database signon ID. (id = MyOwnerName)
  Start the server failed

  
  I changed the UserId as PSADMIN in Configuration file, purge the cache and clean restart and resources of the CPI. Password is correct. But the error still shows id = MyOwnerName.

  Application Designer to connect as PSADMIN successfully. Data Mover Bootstrap connect as MyOwnerName successfully.

  My question is:

  Why PSADMIN both MyOwnerName the ID invalid user or password database signon? How to solve the problem?

  As stated in the installation manual, there are a few prerequisites in chapter CHAPTER 8 b page 238 UNIX application server configuration

  Prerequisites

  Before you begin this procedure, you should have completed the following tasks:

  • Installed your application server.

  See "Using the installer of PeopleSoft," understanding PeopleSoft servers

  • Tuxedo installed 11 GR 1 material

  See "installing additional components.

  • Authorization to a PeopleSoft user ID to start the application server.

  The database configuration process includes a step to set up the ID of the user with permission to start

  the application server. See the installation instructions specific to the application for more information on user IDS

  for your PeopleSoft application. See the PeopleTools: product documentation Security Administration

  For more information on PeopleSoft PeopleTools sent user profiles.

  See "Creating a database under UNIX," execution of the database Configuration Wizard.

  See "creating a database manually ,"creation of Scripts to Import Data Mover. "

  • Run the following SQL statements on your database server to review and if necessary, update the PSCLASSDEFN table:

  Novel installers generally use VP1 or PS to test the application server. If these users are deleted or their

  Passwords are changed, the application server will be unavailable. To avoid this problem, you can set

  until a new operator (called PSADMIN or PSASID, for example) with privileges to start the application server.

  If you do this, you can use the operator new for your servers and you will not need to change the

  password each time VP1 or PS.

  You user has privileges to start the application server.

  Also pay attention to the connectid configuration in the application server. This should be the same connectid and the password you provided during the database creation script connect.sql

I've implemented PeopleTools 8,53 Instance of database in Oracle Database Server successfully. Data Mover connection and application designer in the Instance of database successfully. Web Server has been successfully configured.

  Now I face the question about the configuration of application server as below:

  In Windows, I run /PT8.53/appserv/psadmin.exe to create a domain for the Instance of PeopleTools database successfully. On Linux, the file /PT8.53/appserv/psadmin light blue color but is not executable, I try to run it in the following way:

  [user@userlinux appserv] $. / psadmin

  His output:. / psadmin: error while loading shared libraries: libtrio64.so: cannot open shared object file: no such file or directory

  
  My question is:

  Can any folk tell me how to configure the application server using Linux for Architecture Internet PeopleTools psadmin? How to solve the problem above?

  Said that the OAS 10.1.2.0.2 is desupported, you must apply the patch 10.1. 2.3 to be fully certified on RHEL/OEL 5.

  I try to install the Oracle process server on linux and I installed it on before similar boxes without any problems, however this time after I finished the installation, it does not show me the console business. It gives a message of successful installation but with the following message.

  the 10.1.3.1 version does not use emctl

  If you do a status - app opmnctl you can see your applications, one of them is ascontrol

  You can reach the emconsole by http://hostname:7777 / em

  to start you can issue opmnctl startproc application = ascontrol

  You can install in any desired point of installation/directory. Oracle does not give a flying fig this topic. Just put it somewhere that makes sense.

  (a) you must install the files of war for determination of Oracle server and Oracle Web determinations according to the normal deployment of war - there is no special action required, this is why it does not appear explicitly. There is no reason to deploy Oracle engine determinations itself to a web application server.

  (b) "better" tends to be more a subjective point of view, but if you already deploy all your web services on the same server as Oracle E-Business Suite, then you should go the same for the OPA. Same story for deployment on a separate server.

  (c) cannot answer without knowing why you're using OPA! If you are looking to integrate with Oracle E-Business Suite Oracle Server determinations would be the wise choice. Determinations of Web is very useful if you want a smart way to collect or examine relevant evaluation data for decisions, as well as the scenarios of "self service". Engine determinations should be used if you have a scenario of integration completely on measure that can use web services or web - applications, but I can't imagine a scenario where it would be logical if you are using Oracle E-Business Suite.

  Of course, these are just my point of view - others may feel more strongly one way or the other!

  I installed Oracle database 10g and Oracle Developer Suite 10 g. In Developer Suite, I use form of Oracle 10 g and I can browse Oracle Form + OC4j file .fmb but I can not run the .fmx file. I don't really know how to make it work without installing Oracle Application Server.
