Install cs3 behind the cs 6

I have two different versions of creative color

I have CS3 Production Studio on my desk and I CS 6 Web on my laptop. I want to install After Effects of CS3 on my laptop because the laptop is my main work machine. I got CS6 Web because he had Flash. If I understand the license I shouldn't all licensing issues. I recall THE license enabled me, in my opinion, at least 3 installs one for my office, one for my laptop and one for my work / office machine. My need would be desktop and laptop.

My main concern is to know if I can install CS3 on a computer containing CS6 and another version IE Web vs Production Studio.

You know thinking about, it can actually be CS2.

> If I REMEMBER THE license allowed me I think at least 3 installs

No.... the Adobe license has always been to install as many as you want, but only TWO activations to actually use the software after a trial period of 30 days

To install on a 3rd computer you must disable this function on one of the 2 existing activations to release activation relies on the Adobe server (you MUST be connected to the Internet to disable)

AFAIK, you can install old programs on a computer with new programs, given that each program will in a single folder... but you MAY experience problems of link of file if you install the program even in 2 versions, with the 2nd install with associated files from loading

If you do not have CS2 as you said, read below

CS2, Acrobat 7 + Audition 3 (AND PREVIOUS) activation server has disappeared, then read below

You MUST use the special version and the serial number on the page, not your original drive or serial number

NOTE that CS2 will not install on a Mac "modern", and when you install the special version of the PPro2 on a Win7 or Win8 or Win10 computer, you may need to right click on the program icon and select Windows XP compatibility in the popup of option

  • How to install Cs3 on the disc, after the sacking of the trial version?

I made the mistake of trashing the demo version of Cs3 that I had on my imac a few years ago.

Now, I would like to install photoshop cs3 on my imac as my other computer is obsolete and I get the error message that CS3 is in conflict with the CS3 version on the computer.

I realize it was a mistake to trash the trial. Is there something I can do?

Download the tool from the following location cleaning, then select 'CS3' in the context menu. http://www.Adobe.com/support/contact/cs5clean.html

It will show you all the CS3 products installed on your machine and allows you to selectively remove them. Select the first build and click on 'clearing '.

Or if you have no other CS3 or CS4 application installed on your machine, you just click on 'clean up all CS3/CS4' to clean your machine.

Then try again to install Photoshop CS3.

  • Failed to install CS3 on the new laptop

I recently bought a new Dell laptop to replace the old. For some reason, my CS3 will not install on the new computer. There was no window message indicating a problem. So, what'S the problem?

You probably need to install using a compatibility mode, and it is always possible CS3 is too old to be compatible with your new operating system, whatever it is.

  • How to re - install CS3 on the new MacBook Pro? [was: ADOBE REFUSES to HELP ME]

I downloaded their software, and I received an error saying that I need to contact Adobe.  So I do, and they REFUSE to help because my software is not the latest version.  How to place a call to them?

John, thank you very much for your answer.

It's Adobe CS3 and I reinstall on a new Macbook Pro.  I had a backup with Time Machine and I have restored my files to the new laptop. Of course due to conflicts of serial number I had to reinstall my software. The Macbook Pro is more established in the Super Drive so I downloaded the software out of the Adobe site. I uninstalled and tried to reinstall, but received a message on there is a problem and to contact customer support.  I did, through their chat system and I was told that they couldn't help me because it was CS3.

After uninstall and restart several times I finally solved what was the error.  I apologize for the lengthy response, but it wanted to be in a forum where someone like me goes looking for answers of self-handling.  Thank you once again!

  • I must first install CS3 on Windows 7 64 bit before installing CS5 Upgrade?

I am replacing a graphic designer Windows Vista laptop with a desktop Dell Precision T5500 computer.  Should I Uninstall CS3 from the laptop and the serial number of decommissioned?  Then I have to install CS3 on the new desktop before installing CS5 upgrade?  I was told that I had to put the installation out of service, but I don't remember having to do with the other facilities.  Thanks in advance!

Certainly, you should disable all software before uninstalling. But do not install CS3-CS5. Just having the serial number handy for checking. That said, according to the needs of the user, you can let CS3 available.

  • I am currently using Firefox version 32.0.3. I have installed "Behind the Overlay" extension. The icon is not displayed in the upper right.

"Behind the Overlay" icon appear correctly at first, but as the browser updates automatically, this extension is not compatible with the latest version of Firefox? A test, I uninstalled this last version of Firefox and installed the version 31.0.0. It made no difference. The icon was still missing. So far I have not found any information about this anomaly online. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Thank you very much for your suggestions. Unfortunately they do not solve my problem. I had "Always use Private Browsing Mode" enabled in the Settings Options/life private/history of the browser. This caused the "Behind the Overlay" icon to disappear. I disabled this setting. Now I'm using the default navigation mode and the icon is now visible.

I installed Adobe Creative Suite on an external drive. I want to upgrade to CS3, but the installation of CS3 disc wonder the CS4 master drive. I can also select the disc I want to move on. Anything wrong here?

When you start the installation of your cs3 and enter your serial number for cs3, the installer should detect it is a update the serial number and you present a list of products (where you could have improved) eligible.

Select the previous product (what you own) and you will be asked for the serial number of the previous product.

Enter the correct number at the right time and to proceed with the installation.

  • Adobe Design Standard CS3 will not install because of the "shared components Installation failure".   Help?

I keep trying to install CS3 Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign pack.  But it is not because of the "shared components" do not install.

I tried to use the cleaning tool.

I tried to turn off my security system.

    Hi neptunecadet,

Please make sure that you install correct and you must also make sure that you have an operating system that is compatible with CS3.

Please follow the steps mentioned in the https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-suite/kb/component-install-failed.html

Let us know if this helped!

  • I CS5.5 Master Collection and you want to transfer to a new laptop.  The CS5.5 was an update for CS3 Design standard and I have all the disks and serial numbers.  I just uninstall both programs a laptop and install them on the other?

I CS5.5 Master Collection and you want to transfer to a new laptop.  The CS5.5 was an update for CS3 Design standard and I have all the disks and serial numbers.  I just uninstall both programs a laptop and install them on the other?

You can do it, but you don't have to install cs3 in order to install your upgrade of cs5.5.

You can launch the installation of cs5.5 and you will be asked your cs5.5 serial number.  Setup will ask you then select the product (in a drop-down list) calling.  Select cs3 and you will be prompted for the serial number for cs3.

Enter the correct number at the right time and to proceed with the installation.

If you no longer need these programs on your old laptop, disable (help > deactivate) before uninstalling so that you can keep your two activations.

First of all, that the software is old enough so that it does not at all with Windows 10... but

An idea that MAY work to install or run some programs in Windows old 10

First, that the software is old enough for that it may ALSO not work with Windows 7... but

For Windows 7 you right click on the program and select a compatibility option in the pop-up window

  • I tried to install CS3 with a serial number from my old computer to my new windows 7.  I tried installing and uninstalling. I've been on the cat

I've been tryig to install CS3 with a serial number from my old computer to my new computer windows 7.  I have installed and reinstalled and rebooted the computer, takes off firewall and everything I know to do.  I was chatting to Adobe several times during the day and nobody seems to be able to help me refocus on my computer. This is the message I get when I put in place: you can only install a single Adobe product at a time.  Please fill out the other installation before installing Adobe CS 3.  I had a computer specialist to analyze it and try to help me, even the screen sharing and could not understand it.  He told me to call Adobe and as you know there is no one to help you live that can be very frustrating when you've spent the day and exhausted all options.  I know it worked on my computer and the fact yet but I use is more than one.  Can you or someone from Adobe please fix this.

A google search of the proposed problem that there is an error related to the number of times I can reinstall this product due to licensing issues.

Absolutely not. You're misinterpreting things. Activation does not happen when you simply run the installer, although later. This means that what he says - there is another 'install' pending / assets on your system, which means somewhere, there is a process (invisible) always blocking things. Whatever it is, since you have not provided any real technical info, we can not advise specifically. If you are using Windows, you can check your task manager and to terminate any process setup.exe and msiexec.exe more potentially will need to manually fix / remove some registry keys. What beyond this, you will be much more accurate.
