Restore point:

Try typing F8 at startup and in the list of Boot selections, select Mode safe using ARROW top to go there > and then press ENTER.

Try a restore of the system once, to choose a Restore Point prior to your problem...

Click Start > programs > Accessories > system tools > system restore > choose another time > next > etc.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
If restore work not and you do not have a Vista DVD from Microsoft, do a repair disc to do a Startup Repair:
Download the ISO on the link provided and make a record of repair time it starts.
Go to your Bios/Setup, or the Boot Menu at startup and change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order, then reboot with the disk in the drive.
At the startup/power on you should see at the bottom of the screen either F2 or DELETE, go to Setup/Bios or F12 for the Boot Menu.
When you have changed that, insert the Bootable disk you did in the drive and reboot.
Link above shows what the process looks like and a manual, it load the repair options.
NeoSmart containing the content of the Windows Vista DVD 'Recovery Centre', as we refer to him. It cannot be used to install or reinstall Windows Vista, and is just a Windows PE interface to recovering your PC. Technically, we could re-create this installation with downloadable media media freely from Microsoft (namely the Microsoft WAIK, several gigabyte download); but it is pretty darn decent of Microsoft to present Windows users who might not be able to create such a thing on their own.
Read all the info on the website on how to create and use:
ISO Burner: http://www.snapfiles.com/get/active-isoburner.html
It's a very good Vista startup repair disk.
You can do a system restart tool, system, etc it restore.
It is NOT a disc of resettlement.
And the 32-bit is what normally comes on a computer, unless 64-bit.
  • Is it possible for an attacker to put my whole computer on their own computer?
    I would like to know if it is possible for another person put my whole computer on their own computer without my permission.  I know that I was the victim of a hacker very persistent during the last decade.  I have no way to prove it, of course.  I upgraded from Win XP to Win 7 Pro to avoid the hacker, but now I get messages of FAILURE even when I try add and remove programs Windows among the many other things.  My printer don't would not print even more given that the permissions of the application of my printer have been modified so that my user account (which is supposed to be an admin acct) would not be able to print.  When I tried to change the permission, I got the too familiar ACCESS DENIED message.  I tried to delete a shortcut from my office the other day, and I got the ACCESS IS DENIED.  Sometimes when I try to delete a shortcut, I get this popup telling me I should be an admin, so I click on CONTINUE, and he let me finally in this scenario.  I don't think I should get such a popup window, trying to remove a shortcut from my desktop.  Sometimes when I turn off my computer, it gives me a message saying THERE ARE OTHER USERS CURRENTLY using YOUR COMPUTER, IF YOU STOP NOW, THEY COULD LOSE SOME OF THEIR DATA.  I'm the only person who uses my computer, so I don't think I should get these questions.
    If you think that your PC has been compromised, then you must reinstall Windows to a freshly formatted drive. Do not wait another decade - do it now! Ask an expert if you are unsure how to do it.
    Hi Traci,
    To push the live site, you will need to:
    1. Publish a site to BC (menu file > publish)
    2. Then go in your site admin control panel and the launch of the live site to pay or to redeem a free site.
    3. Add the domain to the site
  • Install my computer stop about 90% by the own, now its in a loop that it needs to reboot then the installation will restart.
    The computer shuts off automatically approximately 90% way through the installation. After turning the PC back on it goes to Windows startup then comes up with an error screen that says, "the computer restarted unexpectedly or encountered an unexpected error." Windows Setup cannot continue. To install Windows, click "OK" to restart the computer, and then restart the installation. »
    I clicked 'OK' about 10 times, with and without the installation disk in the computer. I turned off the computer and waited to turn back shortly to try to break out of the loop, but it doesn't work either.
    How can I break out of this loop and try to reinstall Windows 7.
  • Help, please! I need help installing own window 8 with LEGACY BOOT OFF
    Hello world!
    I am running in a difficult situation. During the installation of windows 8 UEFI with Legacy Boot Support off the POWER, then the WINDOWS SETUP doesn't detect any HARD or SSD drive. Then I had to install windows 8 UEFI Legacy BOOT SUPPORT market. When all install them, I turn OFF LEGACY SUPPORT, my computer running INACCESSABLE_BOOT_DEVICE error.
    Experts please help.
    With Legacy BOOT SUPPORT works, my computer so slow startup and there are too many startup steps taken in place.
    Thank you!
    SUMMARIZE:
    1: install Windows own 8 UEFI
    2: SECURE BOOT: WE
    3: THE LEGACY SUPPORTED STARTING: OFF
    Dear KNRK!
    I'm so happy. Everything seems to be in trouble, so I have to use the legacy on support. I installed the windows 8 install any update, and then upgrade to windows 8.1. The first initialization of the windows 8.1 installation, I go into the BIOS, then choose restore default.
    Like a charm, everything's fine. Now he worked on Legacy support OFF and Secure Boot on.
    BTW, I'm sharing my EXPERIENCE on installing windows 8 with UEFI.
    1. create UEFI USB BOOTABLE WITH RUFUS
    2. IF can detect the drive HARD or SSD IN WINDOWS SETUP is FINE
    If 2 is not available
    Go to 3
    3. TURN ON LEGACY SUPPORT
    3A - CREATE UEFI-BOOTABLE USB WITH RUFUS USNG MBR SYSTEM FOR BIOS
    4-USE TROUBLESHOOT - COMMAND PROMT
    5. CLEAN THE OS INSTALLED HDD
    6 - CONVERT TO GPT
    7-ACTIVE
    8 - RESTART
    9-HDD DETECTED
    10 INSTALL
    IF ENCOUNTER 03200024 ERROR 0 x
    SOLUTION - REMOVE ALL HARD DRIVE - JUST LEAVE THE OS INSTALLED HARD DRIVE
    AFTER FINISH INSTALLATION - REINSERT THE OTHER HARD DRIVE.
    TO OBTAIN AGAIN A MISTAKE.
    SOLUTION - CLEAN HDD VIA USB BOTABLE WITH MBR SCHEME FOR UEFI
    CONVERT HDD OS INSTALLED TPG, ACTIVE
    THEN AGAIN CREATE USB BOOTABLE WITH TPG TO UEFI SYSTEM
    EVERYTHING'S OK. BUT LEGACY SUPPORT MUST BE ON.
    INSTALL ALL OF THE UPDATE, INSTEAD OF UPGRADING TO WINDOWS 8.1
    IN THE FIRST REBOOT, GO TO BIOS THEN RESTORE THE DEFAULT SETTINGS.
    EVERYTHING'S FINE.
    GOOD LUCK, EVERYBODY
  • Install own speed up my MBP 2011?
    Hi all
    My MBP early 2011 is now almost unusably slow - 7 min on average at the start and connection. My HARD drive is less than 3/4 full, the processor is never too taxed, and 95% of the time the memory is completely appropriate (the other 5% is when I use image and data analysis, and even then, the memory's Amber at worst). I am now getting ready to Exchange during an SSD and plans to do a clean install as I am. This got me thinking - a clean install of himself (keeping the old HDD) would solve the problem? I feel that my HARD drive is so old now that it will replace without worrying... Everything / all advice appreciated! If it helps, my features are El Capitan, 2.2 GHz CPU, 4 GB RAM, 500 GB HARD drive (at 5400 RPM I think...). See you soon!
    Hi Jla-1978:
    Try downloading and running EtreCheck https://etrecheck.com/ and post the results here.
    If all goes well, it will show you which slows down your computer.
    I also have an early MBP 13 ". I've increased the RAM to 8GB (you can go up to 16 GB) and have upgraded hard drive for an SSD Samsung 850 EVO 500 GB and I've seen a dramatic speed increase.
