  I have a footstool of m8100n HP Pavilion Windows Vista Home Premium.  Since the Vista SP2 which was installed yesterday through the update of Windows, my PC guard detection of new hardware when I registered.  The application popup never ask again once, ask later, or update/search recommended for software to install what is recommended.  After selecting the option recommended and install the software that it finds, I get a popup about CompactFlash is now detected and ready to use material.  After this exercise, looks all right.  However, every time I connect as administrator or standard user on my Windows Vista computer passes through the detection of the same material and the update.  He should not have to repeat this after installation and update of itself for the new hardware.  What is the cause and Microsoft is aware of this problem?

  I worked with HP on the problem.  It wasn't a problem of driver from the manufacturer because it had no software update HP.  The integrated CompactFlash drive location doesn't have a drive letter assigned.  Do not understand why that would be a problem because on the removable media drive letters are assigned dynamically when you insert a card or a player.  Records didn't have drive letters when running on SP1 and it wasn't and issues then.  This seems to have become a requirement for SP2.

  The fix was to go in Windows disk management and pre assign drive letters to the disks 1 to 4 that are for CompactFlash removable media, MS/MS-Pro, SD/MMC and SM/xD-Picture on my HP m8100n PC.  Once this has been done and that Windows detects new hardware because of the SP2 update drivers, it installs successfully and is no longer repeat the detection/installation process.

  I installed Firefox for the first time on this Windows 2008 machine.

  The installer stop complaining that Firefox was already in use. I restarted twice and tried to delete the parent.lock file, and it will not always be open.

  I can't delete the parent.lock is used, even after a reboot.

  It is fixed.

  I uninstalled. I deleted the AppData/Roaming/Mozilla and AppData/Local/Mozilla files, then I reinstalled (this time run the installer as administrator rather than run directly from the browser as the installation instructions).

  It worked.

  I suspect it's a question of security policy preventing access to the lockfile properly.

  A likely reason may be a few changes in the config.xml file. If you have a previous backup of the config.xml file, then try to replace the config.xml file, and then restart the server.
  Another reason for this exception maybe it were completely a few changes to the configuration through the administration Console that were not activated and the server administrator has been restarted. According to this scenario, weblogic will create a dir /pendig and have a config.xml file is created with the changes unchecked.

  a solution of workaround that you can try to restore the management server:

  Under domain dir.
  \pending directory - take backup and delete the directory.

  Under Dir Admin Server:
  data\store - take backup and delete the directory.

  Original title: Windows updates do not install correctly.

  Hi all.

  I have a Windows XP computer that keeps telling me I need to install 2 security updates.

  KB956572 and KB981852.  The problem is that these updates are already installed and appear in my Add/Remove programs.  So I go ahead and install the updates again anyway.  The machine indicates the updates installed successfully.  However after a reboot of the system, updates 2 same pop up still say that they must be installed.

  I have removed/uninstalled the updates in question.  Re-installed them.  Without success.  They are always needing to be installed.  I tried the re-registration of the components of windows updates and wiped the windows update temporary folder, but always the same result.

  Does anyone have any advice or ideas?  Thank you.

  I could solve the problem by uninstalling the updates in question.  Download the stand alone on the Microsoft Web site.  Then the installation of each update from command line with the parameter "/ o".  After a reboot, everything was good to go.

  I had problems with my ipad 2 since almost a year. The problem is that when I use it to play games or surf the internet, the screen will freeze. Rebooting the system (the keys home and sleep together) will sometimes fix the problem. Usually I can sleep system and wait a few minutes, and it will be usable again. This problem has come and gone (no doubt with updates, also when I did some troubleshooting)

  I tried many solutions already. I disabled the app background refresh. I turned off icloud. I turned off of any e-mail account. I have crossed and off any occurrence of automatic application in the background that I could find.

  Since the iOS 9 update to this problem became acute. Now, it happens almost every minutes. Finally, I went through with a restore of the entire system using itunes 9.2 using. He wiped all about the ipad. I have not installed any apps. I still have the problem when using safari. I also took over and all the other stuff turned off.

  I begin to suspect that the Wifi in my house is the problem. This is the only place where I use the ipad, so I do not have a comparison. I had problems with the wifi and ipad before. We also have problems with the wifi with an iphone, but it is intermittent.

  In the Mac, the Update icon told me that there are many updates.  I had install them all and they did, apparently with success.  However, after I opened PS, it is still the old version and if I go to help and click on updates, it says I have the latest version, but it is still 14.2 what is happening?  Thank you.

  Found the old version of PS CC and new 2014 a.  Removed the old and now corrected a problem.

• Stuck on the web page.  Will not be closed, even after rebooting.  How to do this?

  Went to a web page, in what I thought was the correct user name and PW.  Would not accept it.  Tried a couple of times and then click Cancel.  Don't cancel.  Finally stopped MAC, waited a few minutes and restarted.  When again I opened Safari, web site and PW always ask here.  Can't get out of it.  What can I do?

  Select Safari and click "exit of strength at the bottom of the window to Force Quit.

• Computer will not start correctly even after rebooting.

     OT: Startup Repair work and its working properly and then works the next time its switched on. but more often the computer will start up again and the restart process everything must be done again
