Install problem with JAVA_HOME

I had to reinstall JDeveloper 11.1.2.4 on my Windows 7 computer so I

  1. uninstalled the current JDeveloper
  2. delete the C:\Oracle\Middleware folder.
  3. deleted my JAVA_HOME environment variable.


I reinstall JDeveloper

I have install 'Typical', which indicates that it will install JDeveloper in C:\Middleware\JDeveloper and in C:\Middleware\WL_10.3 Weblogic

I get the message of success!  But my log for Weblogic file indicates without success.  It's here.

I have look in C:\ORACLE\Middleware\jdk160_24\bin, and I see java.exe and other java executables.

The first problem I see is that JAVA_HOME must have been correct, otherwise I don't't got the blue message above. Secondly, even if I follow their advice and change setWLSEnv.cmd so that JAVA_HOME pointing to the correct location, reinstall JDeveloper just re-create this file cmd anyway, deleting my edits.

Can you try to close JDeveloper, delete the C:\Users\a0315\AppData\Roaming\JDeveloper\system11.1.2.4.39.64.36.1 directory

And reboot?

    Well, I got with success through the installation.  This is how I work:

    I noticed on my previous 3 download and installation attempts that I was getting the error checking when you try to open the dmg file.  I had been disable checking checksum through disk utility > Preferences menu.  Each downloaded dmg file would give slightly different mistakes, so this lead me to believe that the problem was with the download.  I had been downloading at home and I noticed that it took 4-8 hours to download the file of 2 GB.  I think my ISP limiting my connection to preserve bandwidth for others.  I decided this morning to download the file in another place with a much faster internet connection.  The download took 14 minutes.  No checksum error came when you open the dmg file and the installation went perfectly.  If others have problems similar to mine, I recommend finding a place with a better internet connection to download the dmg file and see how it works.

    First step: clear temp directory

    1. Type %temp% term or search programs and files of field
    2. Select all the files in this folder, and then press the delete key to remove. If you receive a message that the file is in use, you will need to ignore this file (s).
    3. Proceed to step 2 below

    Second step: downloaded and extracted to your system:

    1 download the drivers and full software features

    2. once the download is complete, double-click the file to extract the software.

    6. right click on the folder and select copy

    7. close this window and all open windows, and then in the Middle the desktop right click your mouse and select Paste. This will move the 7z folder on your desktop.

    8 open the 7z, that you just copied on your desktop

    9 open the Util folder

    10 open the CCC folder

    11 start the uninstall_L4

    12. once the uninstall is complete, restart the computer

    13. run disk cleanup from the tools Accessories\ system under all programs folder

    14. download and install the latest version of Adobe flash player

    15 open the 7z folder and then double-click the Setup.exe file that will be towards the bottom of the open window. Follow the instructions on the screen to reinstall your printer.

    I ran a unistall hp drivers that were already here on my system as you suggest, then run the installer of complete software functionality that I already had but would not install. Print / Scan / Solution Center now works perfectly as on my old XP machine.

    I've been good CS5 (and also have CS6) who has been registered to Windows used to install on my Mac OS... tackle anyone?

    Creative Suite serial numbers are platform specific. Windows serial numbers does not work on Mac and vice versa.

    The gift is CS5 Windows (full version) and you already own CS6 Windows (full version)?

    In this case, the only thing you can do with CS5 is installed on another Windows machine or pay level to CS6 for Mac (and get a Mac serial number), and then install it on your Mac...

  • dotnetfx35setup.exe install problem with the program that you try to run vs_setup.MS_

    I went through almost as many links and troubleshooting as I can handle.  Downloaded the full package (dotnetfx35setup.exe) for .NET 3.5 and I get the same error.

    I am perfectly aware that the file .MS_ should actually be a. MSI (Microsoft Installer) file, but the question here is "why this package tries to run vs_setup.ms_ instead of vs_setup.msi?"

    Other issues are the following:

    Tried to extend the file .ms_ in a .msi file, and then tried to run this file, nothing is done.
    Tried to copy the .ms_ file to a file named .msi, then try to run this file, nothing helps.

    What happens on Windows Vista Ultimate Edition.

    Any ideas or comments would be VERY USEFUL.  I worked on this issue since 04:30 and it is now 10:18.

    It was apparently only reported on the patch KB951847 .NET and had nothing to do with the .net Framework 3.5 to my system is KB959209 which after uninstalling and reinstalling, removed the update of the framework .net to be needed in my Windows update history.
