  Hello

  PFX is a windows format and will not work with java, you first need to convert it.

  OK, it seems that the file that you download site, VMware is corrupted by any reason. If you have two options:

  1. you can go to the homepage of vco server (I think in 4.2.2 it is http://orchestrator_ip) and using the java web client start by clicking on the link start Orchestrator Client

  2. go to the home page of the vco Server (if it is not http://orchestrator_ip/ that you can go there by clicking on the link in the menu of boot/VMware) and press download vCenter Orchestrator customer Installable and download the 32-bit exe client - it should work

When I try to install the Internet Explorer 8 browser, it gives me an error saying that there is not the inorder of necessary updates to install IE8 browser, I need several Inorder for updates to install IE8, but yet when I go to the updates there are none for my 32 bit Windows Vista computer, it said its updated. I looked at my system icon and there is no service pack installed, this is my problem and if so how do I get it?

  Applications, (Norton and McAfee) are notorious for not to uninstall (or upgraded) themselves.

  1. download the Norton Removal Tool, save it to your desktop: ftp://ftp.symantec.com/public/english_us_canada/removal_tools/Norton_Removal_Tool.exe

  2. close all open applications (that is, anything with an icon on the taskbar).

  3. right click on the file that you saved in #1 above and select run as administrator to run the utility. DO TAP not your keyboard until the race ends, then restart.

  4. open Internet Explorer (only) to http://support.microsoft.com/kb/923737 & run the difficulty.

  5. open Internet Explorer (32-bit only) to http://support.microsoft.com/kb/971058 & run it in DEFAULT and modes difficulty then AGGRESSIVE. [1]

  6. restart a last time & test. If still no joy...

  7. restore ALL your backups of CCleaner & Registry Booster, restart & test again.

  You should not install client tools because they will be automatically installed w install the server. The 11g installation guide says "do not install client tools on the same computers that host your server instances Oracle Business Intelligence, client tools are already installed on these computers (as part of the installation of Oracle Business Intelligence)."

  I have an ISO image mounted on my virtual virtual CD drive centre via the Magic ISO software. I created a new virtual machine and install the OS via the virtual CD drive Virtual Center.

  Is it possible - if so how? I am aware that I can insert the CD from the host ESX, CD drive and install.

  Yes, there is any tnsping in Instant Client. Guys find workaround solutions (not supported by Oracle), for example this:
