Install the full custom CS6 - he thinks that Safari is running, but it is not

I install CS6 (from CD, no clouds).

I'm not using or running any browser, but THOUGHT CS6 Safari is running.

Safari is part of Mac OS, I can't remove it. HOW MAC USERS INSTALL CS6 without interference from Safari?

Tried to install 2 x - first raised hing with 7% left to install, 2nd time it hangs on Safari with around 9% left to install - interrupted by message telling me to close Safari. (Note that I can't "Force quit" Safari - because it is not listed as a program that runs in the Finder). How can I bypass this message and continue the installation CS6? I have cleared the cache and the history of Safari and still cannot load the CS6.
