  This problem could be due to the fact that the product key provided does not match the press which is used to install Windows. The product key that is provided can be a file without assistance, in a. EI. CFG file, in the PID.txt file or in the BIOS firmware. Windows OEM 8 machines ship with the product key in the firmware, and if this product key does not match the press, then you will see the above error message.

  If the laptop is one of the well known brands, he may well have a restore partition.  If you do not have a manual to the user of this computer, then go to the manufacturers website and look for the documentation.  At the very least, you should be able to find information about how to restore the laptop from the recovery partition.

  If the restore partition has been decimated, the manufacturer may still have available for a nominal cost of installation diskettes.

  How to get Vista recovery Media or the Vista recovery Partition on your computer back to factory settings.

  There is no Vista free download legal available.

  Contact your computer manufacturer and ask them to send a recovery disk/s Vista set.

  Normally, they do this for a cost of $ small.

  In addition, ask them if you have a recovery Partition on your computer/laptop to restore it to factory settings.

  See if a manual provided with the computer or go to the manufacturer's website, email or you can call for information on how to make a recovery.

  Normally, you have to press F10 or F11 at startup to start the recovery process...

  If you use your drive and it came with the computer, it is automatically activated when you reinstall. If the disc is not a detail, it will not activate and in this case, you will need to use either the recovery Partition - if your computer comes with one - or contact your computer manufacturer's technical support and ask them to send you a full set of Recovery DVD.   You're right; There are a large number of items on this page.  You may be able to refine things if you enter your full product number, but if not, here are some general indications:
