Installation 11.1.2.1 using oracle database in windows server 2003 64-bit

Hi gurus,

I am about to install hyperion version 11.1.2.1 with oracle on a windows 2003 64-bit database.

Do I need IIS component for hyperion to install?

for the list of tasks, it will be not so complicated that it should be the same as 10g (.. .excepting the location of the file ;-)))

1.
Equip your \forms\java of your "icons.jar".
configure your formsweb.cfg + (this file is located in \servers\WLS_FORMS\applications\formsapp_11.1.1\config+)
for example, C:\Oracle\Middleware\user_projects\domains\ClassicDomain\serversWLS_FORMS\applications\formsapp_11.1.1\config)
through EM and add in the archives after the frmall.jar tag, icons.jar

2.
you map key to the desired file frmxxx.res in \config\FormsComponent\forms or \forms\ (don't really know which is used)
and you have your formsweb.cfg set term = yourfrm.res

I'm trying to install the server to connect to 4.6 on windows server 2003 sp2 32-bit VM, I got the following error
VMware-connectionserver-x86_64 - 4.6.0 - 366101.exe is valid, but for a computer other than the current computer type
Processor: Intel (R) Xeon (TM) CPU 3.60 GHZ and I configured 2 GB RAM with PAE.
Waiting for your help to solve this error.

You try to use the 64-bit Installer, download the 32-bit Installer instead, and it should be good.

Use Group Policy in windows server 2003 to remove startup in the start menu to xp pro user

I have a windows 2003 server and I have a domain controlor.

I users using win xp in this area, I had some policies on the server to prevent users in a few changes such as workstation side open Explorer and using the dos command for example and everything is ok, I have a problem I can not remove the startup option in the start menu , I delete all the startup programs appear as disable, but when double clicked, open Solution Explorer.

My question is: How can I remove the startup in Start menu?

Unknow Device for HP DL380 G7 using Windows Server 2003 32-bit

I need help to identify the right Windows 2003 SP2 32-bit driver for an unknown device in the Device Manager on a HP DL380 G7 server. I have attached a screenshot. The only information than the other, is that the device can be a PCI ISA device.

Any help is greatly appreciated, if I'm in the wrong forum, please send the correct forum.

I found the problem, it's actually in a HP ProLiant Pack driver called: cp010950.exe attached is the image of the named driver: HP NULL IPMI Controller Driver for Windows 2003 version 1.0.0.0

This could be because windows server 2003 is not updated with the latest version of the Terminal Server client. With terminal services client 6.0 update... It should solve the problem. Here is the link to download:

We want to implement the system with Oracle database 11g or 10g 64 bit (CARS) on the OS of Microsoft Server 2008/2003. We do not have enough licenses for all the hearts, and we want to find a way to implement the RAC database with existing licenses.

Is this a good solution to use virtualization, as Oracle VM?
How much is safe to use virtualization?
Can we do Oracle Real Application Clusters (RAC) environments Oracle VM with Windows Server 2008 64-bit (or 2003 Server) operating system and use hard partition?
Is it better to invest in licenses or try with Oracle VM?

Oracle VM can be configured so that it is recognized as a difficult score.
Hard partitions allow customers of one license these CPU used by the partition instead of license all the processors on the physical server.

The question is, is Windows server 2003 32-bit, and I try to install database 11g 64 bit. I tried to install database 11g 32-bit. Before that, I erased the traces of the virtual machine in my host system and reinstalled and tried. It worked.

Hello, I want to use Oracle Database Enterprise Edition and Oracle Data Mining for my master's thesis, and maybe we can publish a book of science in the end. I already downloaded the database and work on it, but I need to know if it is OK to use the software free of charge during the preparation of my thesis. Is that what I should pay or should I inform Oracle about this? I don't know anything about using Oracle products for research projects. Any information you provide will be appreciated. Copy the database to the Server 2003 from windows to linux Redhat 4 Oracle 10 g

I have oracle 10g installed on windows server 2003. Now I want to copy my database of windows 2003 to redhat 4 with oracle 10g on another system.

A possible solution I know is export the tablespaces and then import them into linux redhat 4. but do will all the settings and users will be exported.

Please suggest me other solutions.

If you are running the x 64 version of Windows 2003 and not the Itanium version, you'll find 10.2.0.1 here:

You can then the patch to 10.2.0.3 by downloading the patch from Metalink.

For purposes of migratiion, we would need to install Oracle 10.1.4.0 on a Windows Server 2008 64 bit Standard and then update to 11 g.
We forced installation Oracle 10.2.0.4 on a Windows Server 2008 64-bit Standard, but we are not safe for 10.1.0.4.

Given that we do not have this version of the software to try it and we are looking for it, is it possible to install Oracle 10.1.4.0 on a Windows Server 2008 64 bit Standard?

Could you point me to a document referring to Oracle versions compatibility with Windows Server 2008?
