  • CS6 Master Collection installation - disk error?

    Hello

I tried to download my Collection of CS6 Master for Windows (running Windows 7) discs, but it won't work.

I put in the first disk and it worked fine at first (including my shipment serial number and have accepted) but then a few minutes after the installation, a message appears saying 'Please insert disk CS6 MstrColl 1 to continue' with only cancel or continue as options. I was troubled because the disc I got in was marked Application 1. I replaced and clicked on continue, but it was not acknowledged and the message reappeared. I tried each of the other two discs in the package I received; none worked.

When I looked in the Adobe forums someone else with a similar problem had been a recommendation to copy the contents of the disc on their hard drive and install from there. I did it for disk 1 and it ran fine - until the same message appears, this time asking for disk 2 MstrColl! As before, I tried to reinsert the disk, and then when it does not work I copied the contents of my hard drive. The problem is setup running of the drive does not recognize the presence of the contents of disk 2 (either as a disc or saved on my hard drive) and there is no way to interfere with it without canceling the entire process...

Anyone have any ideas? I tried silly things like turn off my firewall, but no difference was made! Any help appreciated gratefully.

  • Error: "there was a disk error when you write to the file C\:Program files (x 86) \microsoft games\dungeon siege\resources\objects.dsres" during the installation of Dungeon Siege.

When I try to install it it comes up with an error about 16% in the installation, saying that there is a disk error when you write to the file C\:Program files (x 86) \microsoft games\dungeon siege\resources\objects.dsres

    Any ideas?

    Hi MouseToe,

What version of Dungeon Siege you trying to install?

The cause of this problem could be the corrupted resource (.dsres) file or disk error. Here are some things you can do to solve the problem.

Method 1: Run the disk check.

Check the integrity of your hard disk for lost clusters and errors.

To do this, follow the steps in this article: check a drive for errors

Method 2: Defragment the hard disk.

This improves the performance of your hard drive.

Reference: improve performance by defragmenting your hard drive

Method 3: Run the game as administrator.

    Here's how:

    (a) right click on the game configuration file.

    (b) choose 'Run as administrator'.

Method 4: Try to install the game in a different folder or to a different drive

Try to install the game in a different folder. If the computer has another hard disk, try to install the game on the other hard drive.

    Follow these steps.

    a. Insert the game disc in the drive.

Note: Do not click on Quick Installation during installation.

    b. follow the setting menus until you see the change button.

    c. click change.

    d. in the path box, delete the existing path, and then type the following text:

    drive: \Program Files\Microsoftgame name Games\

In this example, drive is the letter of the hard disk drive and the name of the game is the name of the game you are trying to install.

    e. click OK when finished.

    f. follow the instructions that appear on the screen to install the game.

    This should be it.

  • Age of Mythology of installation met a disk error when writing in the file C:\Users\(my name)\Desktop\aom\textures\textures.bar

Age of Mythology of installation met a disk error when writing in the file C:\Users\(my name)\Desktop\aom\textures\textures.bar. Make sure that your hard disk is not full, and that the file is not in use

Original title: AOM moved only to 94%

When I install Age of mythology, I have put on disc 1, do all the stuff, he moved to 45%, and then it asks me to put in disc 2. I do, and he moved to 94%, which is the stage that she calls 'Copy texture.bar' then it stops and I can hear the disc turn and stop repeatedly. After about 10-15 minutes, I get an error message and it said:

"Age of Mythology of installation encountered a disk error when writing in the file.

    C:\Users\(My Name)\Desktop\aom\textures\textures.bar.

Make sure that your hard disk is not full, and that the file is not in use. »

I know that my hard disk is not full, because I just got this computer a month ago. In addition, when the disc is, it vibrates and makes a buzzing sound that only stopped when I put my finger on the space between the disc and the side of the laptop.

  • Not enough disk space to complete this installation. Error code: U44M1P31

Windows 7 laptop. Drive C (main road), drive E (Tools), G Drive (external drive). Suite Adobe CS5 for web design. Updates for adobe want to go in the tools folder in drive E. Error Message for all of the updates is not enough disk space. Of course, there is not enough disk space because it is a small partition of drive C drive. I don't know why or how the default for adobe updates is to drive E. I don't know where the properties are to change that. Adobe says it's a matter of windows. I can't find a place that asks me where I want to save the updates in all adobe programs. I have my adobe programs on the G drive which is an external hard drive. I would like for the updates go to the G drive whose program is. Can someone help me understand why adobe wants to download updates of files in a folder he knows that he can not download on due to lack of space? Can someone help me solve this issue? Please and thank you!
This is the error code I get "not enough disk space to complete this installation. "Error code: U44M1P31.

I suspect that Win7 libraries (Documents) are quite large. Libraries of redirection to your external drive, the will of placeholder still apear under users but the actual data will be on your outside.

Then uninstall your outside Adobe and reinstall to C

Updates for programs or those windows update are installed in the folder temp of victory, there the update, then runs and installs in the records required of this program. Unless you fiddled with the settings of your victory and redirected the temp folder.

I think your problem lies in the installation of Adobe on an external drive and the program Adobe (or at least its update module) is confused by the present.

Using an external drive, especially the usb drive, to a use for which it was not designed is a main issue.

Maybe ask Adobe support if they supported the installation of their program on an external, probably the usb drive

Try to work on the second (old) drive drive to reduce wear to the SSD. But whenever I do, I get disk error message and it erases all my settings (so boring!)

I think it's a permissions thing since I had to deal with this already to a certain extent, but I don't know how to solve this problem, because I do not know where adobe tries to save the file. Any tips or ideas?

RESOLVED: I mess with permissions, but I think that what he did was following some advice I found elsewhere related to problems of registry Illustrator. I did the settings to change, then I found Photoshop in the start menu and right click > run as administrator. That seems to have done the trick.

  • My iPod nano 2nd generation gets disk errors after installing iTunes?

I use my iPod nano 2nd generation for... Wow little almost 10 years now and of course is not as sensitive, a little laggy sometimes, battery life isn't as good but still never had real problems with it that can be repaired by a reset. Well not until now and I have not really money to spend to get a new, in particular the fact that practically it still works fine on his own, just that I can not add or remove pieces of her more.

    The problem

It seems that the computer has trouble reading the device. Whenever I plug my iPod nano 2nd generation USB in my laptop (Windows 10), which has some sort of interaction with it freezes. For the moment I plug in, programs such as Winamp, iTunes, File Explorer (if I click my computer-> try to right click on the drive, that says all F: drive instead of the usual name recognized as "My iPod."), the Device Manager when I try to turn Apple iPod USB Driver and the small icon in the system tray when you try to eject the drop-down list no longer appears, all these programs themselves just freeze and unresponsive until I unplug the device. In Event Viewer, the moment where I plug it, it gets spammed by looping errors to:

Error: The device, \Device\Harddisk1\DR21, has a bad block.

ATTENTION: An error was detected on device \Device\Harddisk1\DR21 during a paging operation.

So, basically, it seems that the computer is blocked just not try to read and recognize the device, which means that I can't really do anything with it. The iPod itself seems to work fine, I can hear songs, recharge the battery and other things, earlier I can't add or remove pieces of her.

    Stuff leading up to it

A year or two before, I used to manage the ipod via itunes (a relatively old version of time too I guess since I almost never update) until I formatted my laptop some time ago and never bored computer reinstall itunes. Since then, I really didn't need to change anything to my iPod and just use Winamp (my default music player) to the add/remove songs when I needed to. Today, I decided to install iTunes because there are some things that winamp cannot do as add embedded lyrics and also winamp blurs the sorted list of the song. Since then, after you have installed the new iTunes, start freezing and program I get the problems described above. There might be a chance that iTunes was not the real culprit and the disc was already beginning to get corrupted or something somehow, but I can't think of anything that's happened before this problem started.

    I tried many things

    • Uninstalled iTunes and all the other stuff related to the installation as pie, Apple Mobile Device Support... .etc
    • Reinstall the device driver USB Apple iPod. When I turn it off (Plug in iPod-> iPod poster 'do not disconnect'-->--> Device Manager driver right click-> disable-> Device Manager freezes up-> unplug ipod-> Device Manager-> thaws plug ipod in) ipod becomes simply the State of charge. Steps to reinstall is the same (need to plug and unplug).
    • Reset iPod in now the Center button + menu button.
    • Will then resetting operation rewind + Centre button iPod diagnostic mode. It is not a test disc hard because I guess nano doesn't have a disc hard just flash ram. Anyway, when I select SDRAM QScan he only says: "SDRAM OK." NAND_SPEC gives "NandLBA = 1982464". Flash gives Checksum "Checksum is 0x26AF".
    • Wanted to try as described here to check for disk errors, but cannot because the computer cannot correctly recognize and explore freezes if I right click. I tried using 'chkdsk f:' in the command prompt, but that seems to hang as well.
    • Switches mode disc reset ipod then now Center + play button. Then connect the laptop... etc, same problem.

It's a pretty old device, so it seems that support because it is very rare. I didn't install iTunes could screw up the device that it is intended to support and do anything as permanent as this one.

You must exclude a faulty USB, cable anchorage, try another, or using your power with another Apple device cable, to confirm that it works correctly.

Otherwise, your troubleshooting seems complete.  If that's what you've done for disc Mode

How to put your iPod in disc - Apple Support mode

and connection to your computer causes this issue General 'freeze' with multiple processes, the iPod has possibly a hardware problem.  Flash storage eventually.  Or it can be a problem on the logic board of the iPod.

I suggest try to reformat the iPod using Windows, as if it were a USB flash drive.  But you can only do if the system hangs when you connect iPod.

NOTE: If you find a way to reformat iPod using Windows, use FAT32 as the disc format.  If there is an option to do a quick format, do a full format instead.  Once the process is complete, the iPod is totally blank.  You do restore using iTunes (if you are prompted or not), to the embedded iPod software.

  • MacBook Air wouldn't startup after starting get disk error

but failed to copy data from the drive on an external hard disk. I could see my boot (MacintoshHD) on the disc utilities drive, but could the volume seems to be not mounted.  The size of the disk is 128 GB and only 12 MB seems to be free.

1 has started the macbook in recovery mode. In disk utility, run check disk and repair utilities disk for the startup disk (MacintoshHD). No problems in the generated logs. The volume is not mounted and is dimmed.

2 selected MacintoshHD and tried to unlock it. The system tried for a while, and the password window disappeared after some time with the MacintoshHD via disk utility.  When I restart the machine again in recovery, disk MacintoshHD reappears in the same situation.

    3. I was able to start the macbook after installing a new version of OS X in an external hard drive. During the installation of OS X, I couldn't copy the data from the volume MacintoshHD (possibly the drive is locked).

    4. I could not start my macbook in safe mode.

    My query is-

    1. I had not backed up my data by any means. What are my current options to copy my data MacintoshHD?

    2. because the MacintoshHD is locked and attempts to unlock it had no disk utility, it will help if I start my macbook target disk mode, connect to another mac via a thunderbolt cable and try to copy data?

    3. What are my options now to restore my macbook? Clear my boot drive (MacintoshHD) and reinstall OS X?

    Hello

Your laptop is listed as coming with a 750 GB hard drive - the drive on the following link is an example that would be perfect for your laptop.

    750 GB hard drive.

The procedure to replace the hard drive begins on Page 104 of your maintenance & Service Guide.

Once this is done, simply use your recovery DVD to reinstall the original operating system (Windows 8.1) on the new drive and then upgrade to Windows 10 once again.

A better option, as long as the previous installation of Windows 10 had activated Ok after the original 8.1 upgrade, would be to simply perform a new installation of Windows 10 as detailed in the guide on the following link.  Note: On the activation screen, select "I don't have a product key" - Windows will activate automatically once installation is complete.

    Hi JRCLNSIN100,

    Welcome to Microsoft Answers Forums.

We would like to get some more information from you to help solve your problem. You better, please answer the following questions.

    ·         What is the disk you use to reinstall?

    ·         Is this a recovery or reinstalling the disc you are using?

    ·         When exactly do you get this error message?

    ·         What is the edition of Windows Vista, you try to install?

    ·         How old is the drive that you are using?

    ·         How are you starting the installation process?

After researching the error 0x8007000D code is essentially due to file corruption and a problem with the drive itself.

First check if you have scratches or dust on the disc and clean the surface and try again.

To check if the disk is wrong, you will need to copy the contents of the DVD to the hard drive and try to install using that.

To perform a flat installation of Windows Vista, follow these steps.

Note The hard disk must have at least 3 GB of free space on the disk for the Windows Vista installation files. The hard disk must have at least 15 GB of additional disk space to install Windows Vista. For more information about system requirements for Windows Vista, see the Microsoft Web site at the following address:

    http://www.Microsoft.com/Windows/products/windowsvista/editions/SystemRequirements.mspx

    1. Insert the Windows Vista installation disc.
    2. Start Windows Explorer.
    3. In Windows Explorer, click to select the drive for the Windows Vista installation disc.
    4. On the Edit menu, click select all.
    5. On the Edit menu, click copy.
    6. Click to select the hard disk you want to contain the flat installation files.
    7. On the file menu, point to new, click the folder, type Windows Vista Setupand then press ENTER.
    8. Double-click the Windows Vista Setup program, and then click Paste on the Edit menu.
    9. Double-click Setup.exe, and then follow the instructions that appear.

See the link below for more information on flat installation.

This problem can also occur if the firmware of the DVD drive is defective or obsolete.

If the step above does not resolve the question suggests that you install the latest drivers for the DVD player on the computer.

  • SMART Hard Disk Error - replace hard disk?

A couple of days, I got an error when I start my computer (HP Pavilion dv6-6071eo), saying "SMART hard disk error" followed by a message telling me that SMART disk check has detected and imminent failure. He told me to my backup files, and then press F2 and do a hard drive test. On the last row, it displays "Hard Disk 1 (301).

I tried to run the hard drive test, which does not instantly. I also ran the BIOS hard drive test. It meets the short test without problem and then stopped quite some time after the long trial began with the error "Disk Hard 1 full 305. My computer has also been slow over the last week.

From what I've read so far, it seems that I need to replace my hard drive. Is this correct? If so, it would be a suitable replacement (functional): http://www.dustinhome.se/product/5010151237/western-digital-black-2-5-320gb-7200rpm-sata-300-16mb/#i.... Also, would it not interesting (and possible) upgrade to an SSD for reduction of noise and heat, which is a problem with this laptop (and several other portable simular at HP) compared to other laptops.

In addition, it might be good to mention that my warranty has expired.

Have you checked to see if there is a free space left on the hard drive? A complete hard drive will make the system work very slowly and it may also keep the system working properly if it is fairly comprehensive. The fact that you take the short test means that there is nothing major to mechanically wrong with the drive. Just right-click on the icon for the main C:\ drive likely "computer: and select 'Properties'.» If the disc is not actually full, then I suggest to replace. If you can afford a SSD, Yes, there is no doubt that is the way to go. There is nothing wrong on one ssd, other than an occasional fight to install it. I have been using SSD for awhile and I had installation problems we often see reported here, but do not be discouraged, we are here to help.

  • Need help: invalid system disk error

I must have left my laptop on the week last with only a small battery backup as victory, that I woke up in the morning, he had absolutely no power.  When I plugged the laptop and I tried to reboot it wasn't going to the normal microsoft vista home page.

Instead of this turned back or the system bios and on the top of the screen, he said.  Invalid system disk error.  I pressed ESC and immediately thereafter loaded up normally.  Once on the page of windows, he showed he was about 8 windows updates.  (this every way - when I left my computer on automatic update of windows, running and starting to update my computer.  Since I only had a remaining battery minimum computer must have lost all power during the update.  Because update has not been completely loaded my computer now has a problem starting).

Whenever I turn on computer, need me the black screen with the comment of the system disk error.  While hitting escape when this screen is easy to do and makes windows vista starts normally - I'd rather have a completely normal vista installation program.

    What should I do?

    Restore point:

    http://www.howtogeek.com/HOWTO/Windows-Vista/using-Windows-Vista-system-restore/

Do Safe Mode system restore, if it is impossible to do in Normal Mode.

Try typing F8 at startup and in the list of Boot selections, select Mode safe using ARROW top to go there > and then press ENTER.

Try a restore of the system once, to choose a Restore Point prior to your problem...

Click Start > programs > Accessories > system tools > system restore > choose another time > next > etc.

Read the above for a very good graph shows how backward more than 5 days in the System Restore Points by checking the correct box.

If restore work not and you do not have a Vista DVD from Microsoft, do a repair disc to do a Startup Repair:

Download the ISO on the link provided and make a record of repair time it starts.

Go to your Bios/Setup, or the Boot Menu at startup and change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order, then reboot with the disk in the drive.

At the startup/power on you should see at the bottom of the screen either F2 or DELETE, go to Setup/Bios or F12 for the Boot Menu.

When you have changed that, insert the Bootable disk you did in the drive and reboot.
