Installation - glued on initialization
Can't seem to do it install, go as far as "initialization Installer", but bar only for the sticks of progression. Tried to restart the computer and try again. I don't want even to cancel it, becomes inadmissible?
Sorry, you have problems. This is on mac or windows? It downloads the creative cloud correctly, or is it not even get that far? You use the latest version of the app for creative cloud. It should be Version 1.7.1.418 published on 24/07/2014. You are able to install other apps of the creative cloud app?

I bought lightroom 6 at amazon, but it will not be installed. All I said "Installer failed to initialize, please download Adobe install advisor to detect the problem", but it does not exist. It gives me no more information than that. I already had a free annual subscription to cc through my new canon camera, but I installed for my mac already. No phone number to call, adobe contact to say amazon, what do I do?

"Setup failed to initialize. File not found. ' or 'could not initialize installation. This could be due to missing files.
first of all, rename folder OOBE OOBE.old.
to find the OOBE:
Win 64 bit OS: Program Files x86\Common Files\Adobe\OOBE
Win 32 bit OS: Program Files \Common Files\Adobe\OOBE
Mac os: HD > library > application support of > adobe > caps
Mac os: USER > library > application support of > adobe > OOB
If it fails or isn't the exact error you see, uninstall, clean (http://www.adobe.com/support/contact/cscleanertool.html) and reinstall.
If you use an installation dvd:
Copy the contents of the drive in a desktop folder and install from this directory.
If you are using a mac:
1. try to create a new user account in Mac with administrator privileges.
2. connect to the new user, navigate to Mac HD > Application > utilities > Adobe Installer folder, locate products such as Adobe Reader, Adobe Flash, Adobe Air and uninstall the
3. navigate to the user library > Application Support > Adobe and Adobe put in the trash.
4. navigate to Mac HD > library > Application Support > Adobe and Adobe put in the trash.
5 restart the installation.
If everything is applicable above fails, check your Setup logs:

CS5.5 Master Collection "Installer failed to initialize".
DW CS5.5 manifested suddenly repository problems. All of the property of all the sites disappeared from the site DW Manager.
Advice on the forums has been to remove and reinstall DW.
I deleted DW and attempted a re - install files MasterCollection_CS5_5_LS1.exe and .7z.
By clicking on "setup.exe", the Setup program returns "Installer could not initialize" closes.
So, not Dreamweaver.
Any ideas please?

Thank you, Jon. Your suggestion has worked, but in a roundabout way because of my idiocy. The problem turned out be the error of the operator, not a 'mysterious disappearance' of goods that I have for the first time. Took me about 6 hours of teeth gnashing to realize that there are four ways of looking at assets to DW CS5.5 - view Local, remote server, testing server and notice of filing.
I do all the work DW in Local mode and have never thought this little drop a lot (all). But on that fateful day, the display has been changed inadvertently to the repository which 'disappeared' assets for each site. They were not missing, of course, they were not simply to repository. DOH!
I had deleted the Collection of Master DW at the get-go, so the application still had to be replaced after that I finally understood what was going on. Your suggestion was the answer.
PS - it took, in my case, to rename the Adobe folder in the common files before installation of DW would work. (Program Files (x 86) \Common Files\Adobe). I've renamed the Adobe Adobe1 file. Successful DW installed, create another folder of Adobe. I then copied the contents of the new folder of Adobe1, deleted the new folder of Adobe and renamed Adobe1 Adobe. All the apps Master collection now fortunately found and works very well.

I'm trying to re - install Lightroom 6 but get the message "Setup cannot initialize. I downloaded the removal tool
I have the original DVD and I also downloaded the latest version of the Adobe web site (744 MB) and nothing works.
I been loaded once before and worked fine. I use WIN 10 Home

My mac crashes during the installation of the cs6. I have to turn off the mac. Now, I can't reinstall or uninstall cs6. He said the Installer failed to initialize.
If you have not yet installed any Adobe application, try step below and check.
Step 1
(1) right-click on the icon in the Finder, then select 'Go - To' folder.
(2) you will get a text box, type in the following command and then press the 'return '. ( "Don't miss ~ symbol" )~/Library
It will open the folder of the user's library.
(3) then navigate to Application Support > Adobe.
Open the Adobe folder and rename the OOBE, OOBE old and AAMUpdater to old AAMUpdater.
Step 2
(1) right-click on the icon in the Finder, then select 'Go - To' folder.
(2) you will get a text box, type in the following command and then press the 'return './ Library
It will open the folder System Library.
(3) then navigate to Application Support > Adobe.
Open the Adobe folder and rename the folder Caps Caps-old and young OOBE to centenarians, OOBE Adobe Application Manager of Adobe Application Manager.
Step 3)
Basket of Adobe Application Manager of Applications > utilities.
Step 4) [same step again]
Click on the link below and download Adobe Application Manager and install the same:

Once installation is complete, niche is going disappear, and then open the Application folder and locate the icon to launch Adobe Application manager, double-click it and update.
Once the update is complete.
Restart the computer once and try to install CS 6.

Adobe Photoshop elements 13 and first Installer could not initialize
I downloaded Adobe Premiere & Photoshop elements 13, but when I go to Set - up.exe it starts to install about 70%, comes it up with "we met the following problems. "Installer failed to initialize.
I've deleted all my previous download of Adobe elements 12. I'm running on 64-bit Windows.
Follow the procedure below:
N ° 1)
Launch the Task Manager, click on the more details and end Adobe all related tasks.
Step 2)
Go to C: > Program (x 86) > " common files" > Adobe.
Open the Adobe folder and delete folders named Adobe Application Manager and OOBE.
Impossible to remove? try to rename. as old OOBE.
Step 3)
Click on the link below and download Adobe Application manager and install the same:
http://download.adobe.com/pub/Adobe/creativesuite/CC/Win/ApplicationManager9.0_all.exe
Once the installation is complete, look for the icon of Adobe Application Manager launch on desktop and double-click it.
It will start the update process.
When it is in place, try to install the first and Photoshop Elements and check.

just uninstall cs5, clean a cleaning use of the CC tool to resolve installation problems. CC, CS3 - CS6 then install.
Make sure your file is downloaded to your hard drive sizes are expected file sizes. If you don't know how, ask someone to do it for you.
