  A KB was created for 646 error code that appears during the installation of the updates of Microsoft Office. The KB includes an automatedMicrosoft fix 50461 that corrects the problem. Look at the following KB:http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2258121http://snipurl.com/164ypp>

  Suggest you download and save the fix it.

  Then close all open programs and browsers before running MSFix it 50461.msi.

  Destructive recovery option isn't a characteristic of computer your software manufacturer, Microsoft, to reinstall the operating system back to factory settings (new State).

  I suggest that you contact or ask questions in the Support Forums on this problem you are having with office, because we have no idea if Office was a trial version that was supplied with your machine, etc.

  Have you tried to check and making sure that all the Windows updates were executed? Also you install this on an account with administrator privileges?

  This happened earlier. CVI 7.1.1 and earlier versions than 8.0.1 (i.e. + 8.1.1) work.

  Any help would be appreciated.

  It turns out there are two different problems that arise in the CVI 8.0 distribution builds when you CVI 2009 or newer installed:

  1. Support for ActiveX container will not be included if you install the runtime in the application directory, or if you're not going under the grouping of LabWindows/CVI Run-Time Engine. In these cases, the ActiveX container merge module should be used and ICB 8.0 won't be able to find it.
  
  
  2. The merge module Instrument Driver Run-Time (instrsup.msm) and the Mesa merge module (NIMesaDLL.msm) cannot be moved to the application directory (which is the option on the Advanced tab that I mentioned in the previous post). This will result in the construction of distribution fails with the error you reported.

  To solve the first problem, I recommend the copy of C:\Program Files\Common Files\Merge Modules\ActiveX_Container.msm and rename the copy with a space instead of a line of underscore ("ActiveX Container.msm").

  The second question has no easy workaround. If acceptable for your use case, I would say either making the performance overall installation (by unchecking the option in the Advanced tab) or removing the CVI build runtime of your distribution. In the latter case, your application would be based on an already mounted overall CVI runtime engine.

  If any of those who will work for you, I can get you copies of pre-2009 instrsup.msm and NIMesaDLL.msm that you would have to manually exchange and out with versions in your common Files\Merge Modules directory whenever you have need to build this distribution in CVI 8.0.

  I am sorry for these questions. Let me know if you need these older modules.

  After installing Forefront Endpoint Protection 2010, I am unable to delete files from an NFS Server 2003 share. Before installing, I had no problem, I removed the tip as a test and I was able to delete the file, reinstalled Forefront and was not able to delte the file again.

• Installation of ACA 2010/Norton AV computer freezing

  I'm running a Dell with Vista Business 32-bit system.  I currently have installed ACA2008 and trying to upgrade to ACA2010.  After you install the first time, my computer froze and Norton has frozen as well.  I did a clean install of these two programs, ACA 2010 freeze immediately after the start of ACA window.  When I go to install Norton AV, it freezes at the "initializing...". "window.

  I installed the .NET framework 3.5 sp1 which is required by Autodesk.

  Is my corrupted MSI or is this something else.

  Norton has been deleted using the Norton removal tool, then Norton if not the conflict. If you have deleted Norton by using programs and features, then there may be parts of Norton remains in the registry of the computer. They should be removed by using the removal of Norton Tool.

  If Norton is not the issue, then a boot described by Santosh would be the next step to try to identify what is the origin of the conflict or to freeze.

  If this does not help, I suggest you post in the AutoCad forums for assistance.

  I like printing to OneNote feature, but recently bought a new computer with Windows 7 64-bit and upgraded to Office 10.  Printing to OneNote feature does not appear.  How can I fix?  I did a search and that you can't find a relevant answer for Office 10.

  Installed 2010 using SCCM 2,000 desktop computers.

  After installation I had about 50 clients with different problems, and the only solution I have found so far is to delete and recreate the user profile.

  To be more precise, some clients when you open a word document have an error advising the document is corrupted and running document recovery tool.

  This is followed by an error and you have the option to send to MS or not.

  No matter what you select documents recovery starts to recover and then throws to the top of the same mistake. This happens three times with the same messages whether to send.

  Word closes and if you try to reopen the same doc the process is exactly the same thing.

  Documents can be on a server share or local hard disk.

  Some documents are opened without problem.

  If I disconnect the client, and log back on with any other account, the document opens fine.

  After the deletion and re-creation of the profile of users, documents open without error.

  We also use groupwise to email (urghh) and the same customers don't have any address book once the office install.

  After the deletion and re-creation of the profile, the address book also works OK.

  On the PC, the only change was the installation of Office 2010 and errors have appeared that immediately after deployment.

  All PC are patches and A / V is trend (latest updates.)

• Installation DVD does not recognize my internal HD on a 2008 iMac

  I'm looking for suggestions here.  My 94 year old mother has used the iMac 2008 8.1 for internet e-mail.  We needed to upgrade its OS X 10.5 to be able to upgrade to a new version of safari to access some banking sites.  I upgraded the memory.  Sister has an iMac with OS X 10.6.2 Installation/restore dvd 2010.  I went to update.  I have caused the initial problem because after reading info seemed I could create a second partition on the hard drive of 250 GB and use Time Machine to back up before preceding.  See not all the warnings on the addition of the partition. (Yes, if I had not forgotten my external hard drive I should not try that, but I forgot it.)  Things seemed to make the partition, but time machine bogged down and hung up.  After trying many things, I found myself deleting and resetting on the internal extended (journaled) using HD, recreating a single partition using the guidelines GUID, thinking that I could just do a clean reinstall.  BUT, while I can check/fix delete etc the internal disk utility when HD started from my external hard drive so I boot from the OS install DVD it does not recognize the internal HD.   ? ? ?   Gives cannot update this post Mac.  If I run the Setup from the beginning of the disk upward once again, no offers to go to in the installation program.  I can access everything in THE RUNOFF when the post boot drive.

  Why THE works on the internal HD of the post start up (which was made with the 10.6.2 installation DVD), but not when started to leave the DVD left me puzzled. The DVD is not just see the it.  When it is started from the DVD with the external drive, he sees very well.   You are looking for ideas, thank you in advance.  By the Way the machine had no problem before starting this :) live and learn!

  If I understand what you were doing, you tried to use a Mac installation disc and to update another Mac? Is this correct?
