Installation of a former CD/RW

I have Reacently bought a new Dell Dimension E521 with Vista and I am trying to install a CD/RW from my old Dell computer. When I plug the cable, nothing happens. The "new material" invites does not recognize the device. What should I do? Help, please.

I think that Windows 7 is supported as a developer box. This means that you can install EM and other components of the system.

According to Oracle install instructions for OFM 11 g, you ignore the configuration of WLS, as 11 configuration process g of BCI will perform all the necessary configuration for WLS and BCI. (Take a look at the document My Oracle Support: how to install Fusion Middleware 11.1.1.1 / 11.1.1.2 reports only [854117.1 ID] for detailed installation instructions and forms).

Help installation forms 11G on Windows 7 64-bit
I am trying to install. 64-bit, I installed Java JDK, Weblogic server generic and finally the portal, forms, reports and discoverer (11.1.1.2.0). When the installation of portal, forms, reports, and Discover arrives at step 6 of 16, it is reported: INST-07408: cannot install or configure the product on a virtual machine JAVA 32 bit on a 64-bit computer. Note that the error appears to be a complaint against a JVM, not a JDK. Does anyone have a solution?

I've seen this issue come several times recently so just to clarify. Oracle Forms 11.1.1.2 (which is the first patch updated 11g) is certified to run new Window7/IE8 browser clients.

Equium A60 - 181: Installation of applications for the Toshiba

I'm no stranger to Toshiba laptops and the various pilot facilities, but affecting this laptop for a colleague has cost me a significant amount of lost hair.

I am unable to get some applications Toshiba works on XP SP2 Professional, namely the Toshiba Power Saver (fails with error 0x7E) & utilities Toshiba (refuses to proceed with the installation in the form of common modules not found).

XPS 13 9350 Installation Windows 7

I have a huge problem to downgrade my 13 XPS of windows to Windows 7 Pro 10 (this is required by my company)

I had successfully done before downgrades on XPS 13 9350 with samsung SSD drives, but this one is with Toshiba SSD 512 GB disk. (NVMe THNSN5512GPU6 NV) and I can't work.

I implemented successfully the required patches (KB 2990941; KB3087873) and the drivers of USB 3.0 in windows installation files (boot.wim and install.wim) using DISM. EXE.

Latpop is boot from USB propely, but it asks me to choose some additional drivers. After I navigate to install the Intel RST drivers, shows the disk (toshiba) upward, when I click on Browse. But he still wants some additional drivers. I trided install almost every single driver form Dell site web availble for this PC, but no luck. If I can't install.

Difference on the installation disc and computer product key

The product ID is never really entered into the computer, what you have on the label is a 24-bit coded version which decodes the installation process to form the product ID.

If you have already built a system by entering the 25 character key, you will see a small break after entering the key. This is the decoding of the key system and then check the type of product with the version of the software being installed.

Also, be aware that if your system is a large manufacturer and shipped with Windows preinstalled, then the encrypted key can not match the label. If you use a utility such as magic jellybean keyfinder on a system, it can retrieve this key encrypted in the registry. This key is different from the label, because all systems supplied by the manufacturer with a particular version of Windows will have the same key. This avoids having them to enter a key on all of the PCs they do individually and do not have to be authenticated on the line.

As already said, the combination is not taken in charge, but it's quite strange rhat you can connect to Sql * Plus, and you get the error of forms: the error is local and means that the tnsnames.ora file is not where it should be, or there are errors it contains.

You have not all errors in the installation? the forms and reports test programs work?

You have a database on this machine? Looks like that the tnsnames.ora you posted comes from a House of database, you have in Oracle Home Forms? (the absence of the latter that would explain the error you get).

I installed oracle 11 g 2 forms and weblogic on linux. I am able to test and run a form on it successfully.
Now we intend to use it for many developers. My idea is that we should use the existing server weblogic as deployment for all forms of all developers.
However to provide the forms of development etc generator, complete installation of weblogic and oracle forms server should be installed on every developer but this facility will be in development mode. Secondly, each form must be copied into the path of forms and form file cannot be deployed on weblogic as ear file online.
My questions are

2 is that each developer will need to install the server weblogic and oracle forms 11 g r2 in mode of development on his pc? or they can share a single server of remote forms generator.

There are several ways to answer your questions. It would be as part of what could be "technically" and the other would be in the context of the license product allows you to do.

Let's start by answering your questions directly:

No. Forms applications are not the java (J2EE) applications. That said, for the necessary files (fmb, mmb, pll) to a remote machine and prepare to be executable should be easy enough for most organizations. Just let it drop the files to the correct location, compile and run. Files can be moved to the server using ftp, shared, etc. drive. You can even write your own application (for example, servlet) to help make this easier. You can also create a forms (active WebUtil) application to help move the files on the local computer to the server computer.

In order to be in a "supported" configuration, each user intend to use the forms/States builders (IDE) must have a local copy on their computer and use it on the local computer. Running the builders from a location remote only is not supported. Refer to the Note MOS 68047.1 for more details. This does not mean that the remote access will not work. This simply means that Oracle Support cannot help you if problems occur with such a use of the product.

Regarding the WLS installation part, a remote server can technically be used, but you always need to install on the computer where the builders.

So, this brings me to the authorization of the present part.

The license Developer Suite, which is required to use the manufacturers, is scheduled for local installation and local use of the product. It is not intended to be used by remote users. This would apply to both the tools and the runtime environment (server). If you have one license deployment (e.g. Services forms/States, iAS-EE or WLS Suite) then you can develop your application (assuming that you also have an ID license) with your local builders, then back to application modules resulting remote installation of WLS (forms/reports and Services) in order to run/test the application.

From a technical point of view, to use the 'Run the form' button in the report designer to access a remote deployment environment, simply change the value "Application Server URL" in the Runtime tab in the preferences.
