Installation of Acrobat on Mac

Hello

I'm new to mac, so it's maybe a stupid question, but I can't understand it.

I just installed Acrobat, the latest news from my membership of the CC on my new mac. I wanted to print a PDF from Illustrator, but I did have no PDF printer...

Under windows I have automatic get a PDF printer, but I can't find it on mac.

I'm on OS X 10.10 was last updated.

Thank you for helping us to be a mach-beginner

Very simple.

(1) it has no instance of PDF from Adobe on the MacOS PostScript printer driver. Apple has disabled the ability to Adobe to make a number of MacOS versions there.

(2) on the other hand, since Illustrator you should ALWAYS generate PDF using the Save function. In addition to the savings in the form of Illustrator (.ai) file, save a copy in PDF (.pdf) format. Generally speaking, the PDF/X-4 or at worst, high quality printing settings are more appropriate. This is true for MacOS and Windows.
