  9. open IE8 (only) to http://support.microsoft.com/kb/971058 & run that set it by DEFAULT and modes and AGGRESSIVE. [1]

  10. restart once again & test.

  In my view, that it is a software HP printer problem. Please, try the following:

  Wow, I saw a post from m_vargas (personal Adobe): this is a known problem, so obviously there is a problem that nobody knows how to solve. Fix Adobe is use use only Chrome or installer - reinstall your operating system the offline. Great job Adobe.

I downloaded the current software on the HP site and tried to use the disc that came with the printer. In both cases, that the installation program begins to run, goes through four steps and when it is installing updates, it disappears from the screen.   Sorry it took so long to get back but things have been hectic. I really believe that my problem was one or more files that are damaged somewhere, so I took the easy way and installed Windows 10. After that I installed the printer and everything is fine now. But I really appreciate your help.
