  Hello

  I have an Aurora R1. Recently, the time CPU at full load are around 80 C. Used to be 60 c. The case to clean and replace the cooling paste (arctic silver 5) has not helped.
  My guess is so coolant has seen its best days. Can someone tell me where I can order a new (couldn't find it on the Dell / Alienware website)?
  Or is it a fully compliant alternative (given the connections and specific Alienware BIOS)?

  For anyone who has or has had experience with them, how quiet is the liquid to 2015/2016 cooled by Aurora desktops? My old air cooled Aurora bellows like a banshee when running games/demanding applications during the summer, finally, tired of it.

• Cooler liquid secondary market SYS_FAN and CPU_FAN Question

  Hello. I would like to replace my 3 + year, cooler Asetek stock in my R4 Aurora with a Corsair H75. From what I understand, two corsair fans caught in the rear slot of SYS_FAN Strip high close to the rear of the case and the cooler itself plugs in the CPU_FAN slot in the center of the Strip.

  Can anyone verify if this is correct and I will avoid boot problems/errors?

  FYI, I uninstalled Command Center and political use of cooling of Windows to manage my time. He really did a great job. My i7-3820 Sandy Bridge E OC is 'ed to 4.2 GHz between all four cores and my time difficult to reach the 70's low. I am simply by changing the stock cooler as a preventive maintenance measure.

  I installed the Corsair H75 and 16 GB of G.Skill Ripjaws X series 1600 MHz. everything works perfectly. My times are a solid 20 cooler during benchmarks and games. Couldn't be happier!

• How can I disable Turbo Boost i7 3820? Aurora R4

  Personally, I would like to put to its basic speed (3.6 GHz) without a whip OC or turbo at all. The only parameters that I see in the BIOS are 'load profile of OC 1' and ' load profile OC 2 "." He suggested to enter '0' I usually come home for each carrot clock speeds. (i.e. the value of 42 to 4.2 GHz, 39 to 3.9 GHz, O for factory settings, etc.) I currently put at 41, 39, 39, 39 with OC 1 profile. I do not understand why only dell OC the nucleus, but I left thinking they know what they are doing. Laughing out loud

  My question is: should I charge factory OC setting 1 and manually adjust all the hearts for a value of 36 under the first profile of OC or should I enter 0 and let the system handle it. As I said, I want to see how to make games without overfeeding OC. The cpu wins a few years on this issue and I would push there is little as possible. My main goal is to limit the power consumption and falling as low as possible time all in game. Demanding games usually keep in the 1950s and serious pigs can keep it in the 1960s. While I know that it is quite acceptable, I'm looking to see times lower and increase the longevity of the processor. (using corsair H75 on stock cooler).

  In order to disable the turbo you just go in the BIOS and in the tab Advanced Startup Options Select voltage/frequency control and then go to the option that indicates the CPU power management Configuration, disable the Intel turbo boost, then save and exit.

• How to share tabs between my various Firefox installations using the new system of accounts of Firefox?

  I use Firefox Nightly (2014-02-18, 30.a1, x 64) on my laptop (Windows Pro 8.1 x 64) and I was using Firefox Beta on my Nexus 5 (Android 4.4.2). Recently, Mozilla announced the new system of accounts of Firefox (which replaces the old Firefox Sync account) and I created an account of Firefox for my computer laptop installation every night. Because the new account in Firefox does not work with the old Firefox Sync account, I replaced my installation Android of the beta version of Firefox with Firefox Nightly and signed account Firefox on my Android. However, when I try to send a tab of my Android installation to my installation of laptop using intend to 'Share for every night', every night asking me to implement a sync account, which is impossible to fill in my computer laptop system every night. I tried to replace my Android installation every night with an Android Aurora facility, but the same problem occurs.

  An update on this issue. I think that this (965811) was fixed in Firefox Beta 29.

  Please try beta if you have some time (just search for Firefox Beta on the google play and then install firefox beta) and let us know if Firefox 29 beta sendtab now works for you.
  

• Graphics card does not properly.

  I just built my own computer (form will be displayed at the end of this post) and am currently trying to install everything I had on my other computer (games, programs, etc.). When I went to test this graphics card on a game I downloaded on my crappy DSL internet (cities: horizons), it gave me this message:

  "Could not initialize Direct3D.
  Make sure you have at least DirectX 9 .0c installed, have drivers for your
  charts, maps and did not disable 3D acceleration
  in display settings.
  InitializeEngineGraphics failed.

  So, naturally, I watched it upward. Using command line, I found the DX diagnostic tool and it says I have DirectX 11 is installed and there is no problems found. I went to Device Manager and updated my graphics card (he says no update is available, it has been updated). I went to settings display and found nothing listed as "3D acceleration", although it does not say that my hardware acceleration is complete. I tried again and still nothing. I just tried to get the error message, copied and pasted. I mean, obviously, my graphics card work, otherwise I wouldn't post this from the computer I just built. Currently, the driver NVIDIA GeForce game ready made the installation. Should I wait for it ends before you worry about this? If it's not her, what should I do?

  About 4 months ago, I got a new PSU Corsair CS850M, CPU Intel 4790 MSI 97 x games 5 k card mother and a Corsair liquid cooler H100i for my pc. Everything ran great until a few weeks ago. These problems started at random, I had not installed anything new or done any physical change to my pc.

  At first, I noticed that Google Chrome has been extremely slow page loading. I noticed that it wasn't a problem with the internet connection because I'm connected to ethernet and the computer next to me has been loading content quickly without any problems. I ignored and treated with it because I was too lazy to reinstall chrome. I don't know if this has nothing to do with the other issues im having, it's just something I've noticed not long until I started getting APPCRASH error for some programs codes.

  The problem started when I was playing Overwatch one day and while I was in the middle of a game, I got an APPCRASH error for cloud creative adobe, which I never use. I ignored the error and then finally Battlenet crashes more, give me a similar error code. Remember, when battlenet blocks, the game remains open and is still playable.

  Always this frustraited me, so I closed the game and trying to reopen battlenet. That's when I got the error code again, but this time battlenet doesn't open at all. I decided to restart my computer.

  When he turned back on. I had 5 APPCRASH codes for several programs that could not open at startup for example, razer synapse. I was confused by this so I tried to open google chrome to search for error codes. When you try to open, it would immediately crash. I decided to uninstall chrome and reinstall using internet explore (who also broke several times beforehand and middle chrome re - install). When I opened it, it worked fine and worked well since. It makes no sense to me.

  Then I tried to reinstall all the programs that have swept, assuming that maybe I would have the same results as I did with the chrome. It did not work. With battlenet in particular. I get that appcrash codes error about 50% of the time. I can usually just keep trying to open it and finally it works. This happens with about half of the programs during installation or attempt to open.

  I spread the material problems by replacing the RAM, PSU, switched motherboards, installed a new HDD and SSD and also tried unplugging the GPU and graphics running off internal. At this point the only apparent material question im thinking it might be is CPU. However, it is only 4 months old, and if it was a matter of places, it is not supposed me why 4 months later it would send me questions, not immediately once it has been installed.

  I reinstalled the operating system about 10 times now, to exclude a virus and OS corrupted files. Tent 2 different windows 7 OEM disc, Windows 7, 8 and 10 via a USB key. And of course, I tried to update my drivers and windows.

  If anyone has any suggestions as to what I could please help.

  I could not find someone on the internet who had the same problem. And she let all my friends fans scratching their heads.

  Hey guys and girls.  I have an Area-51 ALX 2009 with 1000w POWER supply.  I'm wanting to add a third graphics card for my crossfire Setup, but I'm not sure what I should do to get the connections necessary to it.  The card requires a 8 pin and a power connection 6 pin.  I have what appears to be a provision of 8 pins, but its very short and would need extensions if it can be used and I was wondering if an adapter is would be possible on the cd player power beam.  Thank you in advance, I really appreciate.  Here is my current configuration

  Stock MB w / Bios version 10

  Intel Xeon 5650 hexacore OC'd to 4.6

  I saw your post last month, I didn't answer you at the time, but I lost track of it, so I'll chime in today to this one. There are three power supplies stock of Area-51. The 1000 watts gets a video cable pair but cannot make use of the small connector your P3, P3 will be 'dead', no power to it:

  

  1100 watt, as my old pictured below, can make the P3 go live, & I guess that all 1100watters have been shipped Black w / video extension cable that plugs into P3 (which has connectors are denominated p20 & p21); Therefore, the 1100watters would have got three video cables:

  

  There are two 1200 watt models: J297R & VHM5V (aka KGTGV) chrism of Dell is under the impression that VHM5V is specified in the KGTGV Assembly global supply, IE psu + cart as a "meeting", or the Assembly KGTGV we have all heard about:

  • Alienware Area-51 improved and Area - 51 ALX video card Configurations

  The Assembly KGTGV 'improved' food, was sold to the public as a way to run dual-590, dual-6990 or tri-6950. When I look to the top of the reqwirements of power for 6950, they are the maps of 200 watts. Three of them, we assume so are 600watts max.

  

  Two models of 1200watters get four video cables: two from the fifth case (like your cables 1000w do) both emanate from the chassis of the PSU (welded to the internal card). Each cable, as you know, will be a (primary) 6pin with a 6 + 2 rider (2ndary). If you get x 4 6 p and x 4 6-2 in the overall scheme of 1200w, the combination of which I guess can all connect to the tri-6950.

  Ok. #1 your 1000w PSU is incapable of sorting-280/280 x. not enough power, not enough cables.

  #2 even if you do go to the PSU of VHM5V (currently available on eBay USA) 1200w, 280/280 x is listed as a map of 250 watts. I like to think that vhm5v is about maxed out with tri-6950 or "600watts":

  • Don't let not the 1200 watt nickname fool you, it is not 12 volt 1200watts
  • they are notated as 975watts 12 volt max, there where the video cable rails are assessed about 550watts, tops (46Amps--> 46A x 12V = 552watts)
  • They provide 550watts cards on rails video cable, the rest of 12 Volt is provided through the pci-e motherboard: example, a 6990 valued at 375watts; in general, 300w goes to the card by the cables, the other 75watts passes through the pci-e mthrbrd
  • If VHM5V can power dual-6990 or tri-6950, we assume 600watts is being discussed & it runs near or even above his side max

  Radeon 280/280 x is a map of 250 watt; We assume that most of this 250w through cables, the percentage passes through the pci-e. In a world of sorting-6950 to 200watts x 3 or 6990 to 375w x 2 as the last installation known validated, I wonder if VHM5V can feed tri - 280 which are cards of 250w. We invite you to try & buy VHM5V on eBay or elsewhere online (bing/google VHM5V) (if you need y-splitters or buy an adapter that transforms a 6pin in a 6 + 2 etc so / them) & if we can't run your installation tri - 280... that psu will always have the value of resale... & you can resell it & leave it would seek you to an aftermarket power supply upgrade.

  In addition, be advised, our motherboard x 58 stock may need a 12-volt power adapter called PowerBoost EVGA, in order to saturate the pci-e lanes with 12 volts, mentioned in these discussions:

  • EVGA Pwrboost is the same principle to your x 58 board stock, regardless of the number of cards

  The bottom line:

  • your 1000w won't cut it
  • Double-6990 was maps of 375 watt = 750watts / tri-280 = 750watts
  • You can be 1 owners trying to run 250 watts sorting cards
  • model 1200w can or may not work (& have y-split/adapters for the connex 6pin)
  • If it works it's an easy upgrade (just drag it in there), if it does not work it has resale value
  • Pwrboost may / may not correspond to a tri-config, but will certainly help you if he does & may be required
  • If you continue to use the stock x 58 Board w/all power, you want the powerboost increase 12v for video through the path of the pci cards, since the x 58 is known for the bottle neck
  • PowerBoost will need a molex/device extension to take power, normally sata/device main beam fueling DVDs etc.
  • If the 1200w model does not work, you are looking at a power supply of spare swap

  Area-51 R1 has need "help wiring" in a spare power supply swap, namely an IO master craft edge 10pin cable & normally a 24pin atx extension. In my free time I make & sell psu 'swap kits' for Area-51. As said before, the Area-51 1200 watt psu stock is 1200watts name & can't compete w/a single 12-volt rail power supply which is designed to offer all 1200watts 12V ok? 1200w stock was cut to the top 12 volt rails in "multiple 12v power rails rated max 975watts & only so much of this 975w is delegated to the rails of the video cable, on 46amps or 550watts, okay? Sad but true.

  I currently offers a Nzxt Hale90 1200, XFX / Seasonic XM1 1250w, & Corsair ax1500i swap "kit":

  Corsair Seasonic Platinum hx1200i Platinum 1200 candidates 1300w gold, these are acceptable EVGA among a few others.

  Based on the fact 280 are 250 watt cards, most likely you would take VHM5V to its limit, & to be honest I doubt you want to your power supply to reach its limit: the boot it on the warmer, he runs the less effective, it becomes more juice, etc.. I had my VHM5V professionally tested on a load Tester, he scored an 80Plus silver side, but I probably invest in a power supply with guaranteed nine Platinum/titanium without age, on a used VHM5V which is now several years old as it is. A friend me up if you want to look into an exchange of power supply, because I make swap kits much more time / are planning to retire. If you are good with cables & wiring you can make your own harness of cables & mio of course, here is a useful guide:

  Hi, I have HP 8000 elite, the problem is the power supply on my PC is damaged due to a power surge problem, I fixed it. But it does not work very well.   The CAUSE of all three was usbehci.sys which is a component of Windows that means something
  otherwise it led into error.

  One of the minidumps involves nvlddmkm.sys which is part of the Nvidia video/display driver.
  This could have a roll in the 3 so I would look for updated driver Nvidia if yours is 8/10.
  2010. There may be more recent and specific driver could have problems. Check with support from Nvidia,
  their drivers and ask in their forums known issues.

  1. BIOS update, low and other chipset drivers drivers available from Intel for the DP55SB.

  2 update drivers for Nvidia display/video and ask their forums and support for known issues.

  3 speedfan.sys on the system version is very old (2006) so I want to uninstall it.

  4 are looking for an update of ALSysIO64.sys which is part of CoolIt - I don't know if it's a
  an integral part of the installation you have - liquid cooling - however if not I would like to uninstall - if your
  the installer it needs and then look for updates and check with their support for known problems.

  5. check the updates for the Thor Marvell SATA/IDE controller if available (via Intel).

  Hello everyone, I intend to start editing videos with my current setup, I want to try Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2015 (theres a trial on the adobe Web site) and I would like to know if my current setup would work fine:

  as others here have pointed out, its possible for some projects, but some media and will require a more powerful system.  This reference is comparing against intel cpu for 3 generations/models, and AMD are close to i5 General benchmarks.

  First and almost all adobe applications are mainly based cpu, and with 4 k mount taking off, fast processor is recommended. Since amd has currently no similar making the CPU to the high-end intel, intel is recommended as the only option. even intel i5 and i7 entry level are not recommended... at a time when amd releases zen, his speed of large improvements will be minor compared to the range of intel, and it can be locked at the same place as the bulldozers are now. Zen only hope may be to increase its number of core for desktop systems.

  So, I do create After Effects compositions really intensive (usually from 10 to 20 layers by composition) and to make use of almost all the effects, there (as the displacement of pixels, motion blur, etc.) for many of my compositions.  32GB has worked pretty well, but I recently had a problem where the computer recognizes only 8 GB of RAM; in view of this, I noticed the huge difference in performance after effects CC 2014 between 8 and 32 GB (8GB off multiprocessing, for example).  This makes me wonder... saw how intense my compositions are, 64 GB would create a noticeable difference?  I have the ability to be upgraded to 64 GB right now (optionally) for free by "scheming and business."  What types of performance gains I could expect from 32 GB to 64 GB DDR4 DDR4?

  The performance gain would be very important for After Effects. Go ahead!

  Premiere Pro (this forum) isn't really helped a lot when the RAM is updated past 32 GB, but After Effects uses RAM for previews and may even beg for more than 64 GB on systems either.

• Upgrade to a generation of i73820 of P9X79PRO

  Just jumped on here, read a few threads and found the SSD world has changed with these new Samsung SM951 and intel PCIe readers.

  I was looking for to upgrade my computer, the specs are below.

  My first thought was to get a new CPU SSD drives and RAID controller for my RAID configuration.  I was in the eye this new i7-5960 X, the Areca ARC-1883i, and then I realized that the CPU would require a new motherboard, but also the RAM, so the upgrade would be a new construction.  I was there talking about this and you get the idea behind this review.  I also watched the speccy to the X99_4.5GHz_3xGPU_SM951 file and see that now we can get without a controller RAID if you use these new drives of type SM951.  Less is always better in my book.

  So - I'm considering a softer upgrade now.  Maybe the older i7 - 3930K CPU, add a GTX970 video card and then goes with a disk of 512 GB for my OS (or a 840PRO) SM951 and the other 512 GB SM951 to house all projects.  That would allow me to remove 4 classical records and my Samsung SSD.  But I don't really understand if these SM951 be compatible with my current motherboard or what adapters I need their service.

  If someone could make a suggestion about these ideas, I would appreciate it.

  The next option would be to give to my wife this machine and build a new monster from scratch around CPU more expensive 5960.  Woman insists on his computer works very well, she doesn't want me, and we don't need a new machine of Monster... Of course, I think that must inevitably be.

  My main application is editing photos in lightroom and Canon DSLR HD video 1080 in first, with the casual after effects work.  Starting to get more 4 k cross my path, and when I see the slow is when I made in the first, when I work with several layers of 1080 video, and when I export.  Stacking effects slows things nicely.

  It looks like your biggest bottleneck may be the cpu, its still the primary instrument used for rendering in first and especially of AE. You can use the windows resource monitor and GPU-Z to determine how to work the various hardware components.

  If you look at the cpu supported on the asus website P9X79 PRO, it lists the new i7-4xxx. The i7 - 4930K would be the upgrade of the set value, should give about 40% increase in speed. If you are uncomfortable overclocking, you can get more speed of this new processor. you would need a better CPU cooler if done overclocking, either a large cooler like the noctua of air or water cooling as corsair. The i7-4960 X is listed as supported by your motherboard, but it was only about 6% faster than the i7 - 4930K. at that time there proven any substitute for the new i7-5960 X. no matter what cpu upgrade you, make sure you have the version of bios supported listed 4210 or newer. the 970 gtx is just as powerful as the gtx 660ti shy 2 x.
