• Installation of CS2 (from CD)

  CS2 will not install on my new mac.  When I click on the CD icon I just get a window showing the contents of the CD.  If I click on the"Setup exe." he told me that software doesn't is not supported by mac OS - even if it works on mac to my partner.

• Old school with CS2.  Have not used for a long time and I am unable to use the program as it says my serial number is not valid. Customer service tells me that the server for CS2 was arrested.  Then they sent me here to help.  Does anyone have advice?

  Disc 1 is the creative suite not the stand-alone photoshop

When I want to record an old product (later Adobe CS1) I registered serial number and here I have a message saying that this product has been already registered.   As far as CS1 goes that you will not be able to use / install because the activation server so that it does not exist any longer.  What you can do, is develop a special version of CS2 instead.  See the following for more information and download links.  The installation of CS2 requires a special activation code that you will find also on linked pages.

  As far as CS3 goes, you don't have to have installed in order to install and activate CS3 CS1/2.  You only need the serial number of CS1.  When you go to activate CS3, after entering the serial number for CS3, you will be asked to identify the eligible version, which in your case is going to be CS1.  You will also need to then enter the CS1 serial number.

  About CS2, Adobe has disabled the activation for CS2 applications server. Follow the steps in this document: error: "Activation Server unavailable". CS2, Acrobat 7, Audition 3, or download a replacement here: download Acrobat 7 and CS2 products.

• I can not install the entire suite of programs in CS3 Mac

  I have a desktop Mac G5 with OSX 10.5.8 and I can not install all the components of Creative Suite CS3. I tried to install the suite several times, once uninstalled and reinstalled and I get the same results: the installation disc will install Adobe Acrobat Pro 8, Adobe Bridge CS3, Adobe Device Central CS3, Adobe Extension Manager, Adobe Flash CS3, CS3 Video Encoder and Adobe Stock Photos CS3, and that's all.

  I ended up installing CS3 on an external drive which has the same start system installed as my internal drive without any previous installations of CS2. After installation, the activation of the software dialog box asked me to insert the serial number CS2, which I did and it worked perfectly. I just start the computer by using the external drive when I want to use CS3.
