  I seem to have met a stumper on basic AE workflow. I would like to implement a workflow where I can set an application designs, then put in AE to animate and control the camera around. My intention is to make graphics like this: http://vimeo.com/25123730 (OK, well, not nearly as slick... yet)
  
  The difficulty is, if I throw my drawing in Photoshop after I import it, it will allow me to convert the direct type, but the vector shapes are pixelated all and I can't get them as vectors. If I throw in Illustrator, the shapes are net of all vectors, but my type is rasterized. I think that there is something that I have to Miss here.

  Missing you something, it's just like that. There is always hope for CS6 and beyond, but for now the only type of "vector", you will get Photoshop of text and the layer, which will be converted to AE masks, clipping masks if the PSD is imported as a composition. However, if you want to get an honest opinion: people obsess too much about this vector stuff. Many times it is not necessary to make it work still a raster image enough size and that's what I see looking at your example. The camera movements are not this extreme that they need excessive detail.

  Thank you very much to get back again.

  I just talked with a few colleagues in this regard, and this problem seems to be more a matter of Windows operating system, if the computer displays that USB related errors as well as the installation had not yet reached the point where it asks you to select your connection type.

  Maybe it's an investigation that is best suited for community Microsoft Forums as my resources have been exhausted in this respect.

  I have a form with the parameter ': parameter.whole_rights ' (Datatype = Char, length = 32767) at design time.
  
  When I've compiled and run in the old server (Oracle AS 10g R1), it works perfectly but when compiled and run it on the 10 gr 2, shows always ora-06502: pl/sql: digital error or value.
  
  After some troubleshooting, I discovered that the maximum length for the parameter of type 'char' is only 4 k. If I assign any string greater than 4 KB, it will display the error as per mentioned but it works on the old server...
  
  Anyone have this problem and how to solve?

  As I said: Please explain why you pass a string of 32 k in your forms and that contains this string, so someone could find a better solution.

  And a possible alternative: have you tried it with the copy and name_in built ins?
