  Problems resolved by the patch:

  
  

  • Cannot send eFaxes
  • Cannot receive eFaxes
  • Cannot connect to the eFax on the front panel of the printer.
  • Cannot save eFax on the front panel of the printer.
  • Trying to access with eFax, it says that the printer is not connected wireless.
  • Trying to access with eFax, it asks that you activate web services before continuing.

  First, press the ePrint button in the upper left corner of the screen to your printer to access the menu of Web Services.

  Once there, press the button "settings".

  If printing is turned on, turn it off and then back on. Press the return key, then press 'Print the State'.

  If ePrint is off, turn it on. Press the return key, then press 'Print the State'.

  These steps may seem strange given that the problem is with eFax and eFax works on printing via ePrint service.

  I have Windows 7 and have set up my efax with Windows Fax & Scan.  I've set up a modem, in accordance with the instructions, but they will not turn off.  The instructions of Windows Fax Scan & say to connect a telephone line to the computer.  But my computer does not have a phone jack.  It is connected wireless to the router, which does not have a telephone line.  If this work and is thus, is there something I need to do update for faxes out?

  I have a new 6520 and I can't get the eFax put in place.  I am running windows 8.  Whenever I try to open the window of eFax in the 'Create New Account' button HP printer wizard's Ghost out.  is the only option that I am able to click on 'Log In', but I have not created an account, so I can not connect.  I went on the eFax website, but to create an account on their site, I have to pay for the service.  Has anyone experience this problem?

  You must call to HP Cloud Support Services to get this fixed number.  They will be able to generate you a new link the link in your HP printer Assistant does not have to get your eFax account.  The CSS from HP is available from 09:00 to 22:00 in your time zone, kjkludt, as you have said that you are in the Eastern time zone.

  Hello

  First of all I'm new here so please forgive me if this is in the wrong forum.

  Basically, I'm after a new wireless printer, I have been looking at the HP Envy 114 because of its wireless & Airprint capability.

  I want this camera in black, they have on the Apple store online for £220.

  However, I found the model Envy 100 £125, nine - this seems to be a huge price difference for (that I can see) not a lot of difference in functionality.

  Is not wrong in thinking that the only difference between the 100 and 114 is double-sided printing and installation of eFax?

  If these are the only two differences between these two models, so I may as well go with the model 100 and save me about £100.

  Welcome to the forum and thanks for your post!

  From what I can tell, the differences between the Envy 100 and 114 are minimal, as you say.

  The 114 has slightly better black print quality (1200 dpi vs 600 dpi) but the quality of the colors is the same for both products.  The 114 will also be printing/scanning slightly faster than the 100.  The 114 eFax, but from what I can tell the Envy 100 print double-sided and feature (here's a link to the data sheet/sheet: http://www.hp.com/hpinfo/newsroom/press_kits/2010/InnovationSummit/Envy_100_Datasheet.pdf).

• 7510 HP wireless installation failure

  Recently updated to the HP 7510.  Installed successfully as a USB printer and then successfully updated wireless.  The driver would still asleep the next day morning, restart would solve temporarily cela, but not as a long-term solution.  I ran several of the available diagnostic tools (HP Print Scan Doctor and troubleshooting guide).  All said that everything was Ok for printing (scan - driver problem), until he tried printing that does not test.

  The printer can see the internet through the router and I can 'ping' IP address of the printer from the computer successfully.  So I believe that the road to be good.

  I used the uninstall script to unload everything and re - install and now it will not be installed.  I can plug in the USB cable and download the driver loaded, but the normal installation process does not even see the USB cable more.  When I try to convert USB-> wireless, it detects the printer and starts the installation process, but fails with "Network Installation fails.

  HP support by phone was completely without help.

  Anyone have any suggestions.

  Follow the steps below to uninstall and reinstall the printer.

  1. open Control Panel

  2. click on uninstall a program

  3 uninstall the Photosmart 6510 in the list

  4 restart your computer

  5. download and install the latest version of Adobe flash player

• 7510 eFax can receive but not send

  I have configured my 7510 my wireless printer and print from my computer to the printer.  Have also implemented eFax and can receipt of faxes OK... However, when I try to send an eFax, the wheel turns for awhile then comes back with the error "printer not connected to a network.  But it is connected to a network and all the wireless on the 7510 display settings reflect this.  What is wrong and what should I do?   The printer is only a few months old and still under warranty.  Verification of updates is that there is none.

  You can try to contact HP support, but I don't think it will solve the problem.

  ARRIS is a common manufacturer of gateways, modems and router combination devices Comcast.

  TG-862 Arris seems to have a problem with sending eFaxes. According to me, that the TG-862 Arris is the newer model provided by Comcast.

  If you check the model of the router.

  If it's the Arris TG-862, contact Comcast to see if they have a firmware update available.  If they have an update is available, see if they can provide a different model modem/router combo unit or turn off the router and autonomous part such as Netgear or Linksys/Cisco with their modem.

  In the case where they don't have a firmware update, I highly recommend to see if they can exchange for another model first.

  With this model of router, what seems to happen is that the TG-862 Arris does not correctly process the data of eFax and ignores the package.  This translates into a transmission lost to the eFax servers.  However, receive an eFax works strictly through HP ePrint by email and it succeeds because it is a very different method of sending.  The reason of HP support will not be able to solve this problem is because it is isolated to the router.  Unfortunately, there is no alternative settings to make this work on the Arris TG-862.

I also tried automatically detect it and install, and which does the same thing. I got a deskjet, 4100 home before this machine before, but I uninstalled all the software for it. I even ran Ccleaner and deleted a few HP registry entries after the problem started. The old printer has been disconnected from the computer. I checked the Task Manager, and I don't see that anything that looks like it could be installation listed in the listed processes. The printer is already connected to the network, and I've never connected it via USB. Computer is a Windows 7 64 based Q6600 2.4 GHz self-construction

  With eFax, your faxes are sent through the internet, not the phone line.  Phone connections are all made with the eFax service but your part of the process of eFax is done through your internet connection.
