  Jim Wilde article explains all about the built-in storage options and on that basis, I came back to have disabled "Store presets with this catalogue" and I copied all the content back to the default location under AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Lightroom.

  I started a collection of more than 200 photos that I have imported and edited in Lightroom Mobile on iPad.  I then later opened Lightroom on OS X and allowed the photos to sync from a mobile phone on the desk.  Only 16 of the 200 original photographs came through.  I tried to get the synchronization to continue, but no other pictures would come through.  Then I went to look at the collection on my iPad and photos that were not synchronized on Lightroom desktop disappeared from the collection of the iPad.  It seems that for some reason, the Lightroom Office resumed the sync and only allowed for these 16 photos to be synced and removed the rest pictures which were not synchronized.  After that I contacted Adobe support, they decided that the synchronization mechanism work properly now, and since I never deleted all the pictures there have been a "glitch" synchronization and offered no further assistance.  No one knows what may have caused this or how those deleted photos can be recovered?

  Use the CC cleaning tool to resolve installation problems. CC, CS3 - CS6

  _ Run it, choose 'all' from the menu on top right of the page,' choose Dekstop CC and application manager from the list and click "Clean selected" and confirm.

  _ Go to:
  Mac OS: /Users/ [user name] /Library/Application Support/Adobe

  _ Remove the OOBE folder

  _ Reinstall desktop from CC:

  I recently subscribed to the creative cloud. All applications in the App Manager downloaded and installed successfully, with the exception of 5 Lightroom with the below error message. The LR5 download seems to be successful, but after about 2/3 of the way through the installation, it fails and gives this error:

  Change the language of the OS is not possible in windows 7 unless you have ultimate

  But the problem is solved, it seems that only lightroom built different languages and you can change the language whenever you want, by choosing:

  Edition > Preferences (or in Dutch: bewerken > voorkeuren)

  on the first tab, just change the language and restart lightroom after clicking on "OK".

  When I booted up my laptop, I found that the symbol of Lightroom had disappeared from my dock from the application.  I use Mac OS 10.5.7 and Lightroom 2.6 and use the program every day for months.  I went into the Applications folder on the hard drive and found Lightroom, clicked on it, and it opened... give me the Registration Committee.  Is there a way I can open the app and get my old back catalogue, or is it toast?

  You got it somewhere else - perhaps an external hard drive?  Search spotlight maybe not a bad idea and a hunt through your backups too.
