  Try once step below.

  Close this window Lightroom

  Press and hold the on your keyboard windows key and press R key.

  In Run type % programdata window and click ok

  Open Adobe > Lightroom folders

  Remove cookie file install Lightroom 5 and Lightroom 5 c: file

  Then launch Lightroom and check if you get the opportunity to enter the serial number.

  The usual difficulty for this and similar problems is to reinstall Photoshop CS5. Do not reinstall CS3 after CS5, otherwise it will pick up again

  That I improve my system to a new iMac, which of course does not come with a CD to install software. Also, I'm old school in that I would like to have a copy of lightroom then purchased software disk 6 from amazon. The problem is that I just found out that you can not download lightroom 6 free to try then upgrade with the product key that comes with the disk copy that I did with lightroom 4 a few years back.
