  I want to start the installation of Oracle EBS R12 on Oracle enterprise Linux (version 5.6), downloaded s/w. Like this the 1st time can someone help me how to create staging in detail and how to check checks for OS pre-installation as kernel parameters and packages etc.

  not including the database of GR 11, 2 of which I am still installing.
  
  I am now to install the GR 2 11 again a new home, by instruction of docs.

  No, you must use the exact (or higher) version.

  No, use up2date or download the package from the internet (I think you already have Web sites) and apply it.

• Installation of Oracle EBS ERROR cannot find file Env

  I want to install Oracle EBS 12.1 on Oracle Linux 6. I was able to go beyond the fine pre-installation. I'm not at the station to install controls and reception of red on everything. I decided to start with the availability of the database. This is the portion of the newspaper where I see the first errors:

  I did research on this and most of the people had permission issues. I have check the whole journal and haven't seen the permission issues. What I noticed is when I go into the directory, there is no file, which seems to be the problem. I do not know what creates who or what could be stopping the file being created. Could someone tell me please in the right direction.

  Issue seems to be similar to note quick R12 install fault with "RC-20200: Fatal: Unzip is not found.» For the moment only decompress Native 5.X is supported. "(Doc ID 1455077.1).

  Please perform the procedure below

  In a session of separate login as root and rename/usr/bin/unzip (version 6) a temporary file name and then rename it back once the installation is complete.

  # mv/usr/bin/unzip/usr/bin/unzip-ver6

  As far as I KNOW answer is no,

  No reason for this process? Why you want to keep your data financial level 11?

  Thanks for the response, at this stage of the upgrade of LATE is not an option. Will we have to make a clean install of R12 for HRMS, 11i HRMS data migration and leave the current 11i for the END? My biggest concern is the trust hierarchy, transfers of payroll to the GL and budgets - there will probably be to write integration between the two

  You can continue to work with oracle finacials and keep working with MFC, but if it has integrated setup that you can develop a custom code for it

  Its best to both for r11 r12

  For your question, its better to take the answer from the support of oracle

  The log file shows this error:

  During installation, I get below error in check before installation:

  Quick installation runs on the same OS as the stage space.

  Directory of M:\EBSR12StartCD\startCD\Disk1\rapidwiz\ scene...... \.. There is no such thing as \TechInstallMedia.

  The stage space doesn't seem to be complete.

  Please ensure that all zipped EBS installation media is present.

  Please run buildStage.sh with option 1. Create the new scenic space

• How to find the XML Publisher repository to the server Oracle EBS 11i?

  I need to update a models mass rtf that is born as a report xml editor in Oracle 11i apps. I know that I can go to the liability of Director of Publisher XML to load the model one by one between the user interface, but it's a lot of your time. I'm trying to find the location of these files in the server (unix or db). Also, is there any document on the deployment report xml to the application server Editor?

• Installation of Oracle EBS 12.1.1 on Oracle Linux4 Update 9

  I'm just starting to install Oracle EBS12.1.1 on update9 Oracle Linux4. I downloaded the EBS12.1.1 of edelivery.oracle and unpacked all the files to a directory on the same system where I have to install Oracle.
  
  When I try to run adautostg.pl, it asks if the "you use Automount to mount/dismount the media? I'm not sure what should be the answer in my case? So I have created no editing by myself. How can I check if it is automatically? If so what would the directory on which it is mounted automatically? This may seem a stupid question. Please bear with me... I'm a newbie :)

  I can able to upgrade DB from 9i to 11 GR 2 directly, which will create 11 GR 2 oracle_home, even while improving 11i to R12, it will create 11 GR 1 material oracle_home. Which the database oracle_home, that should be used to upgrade R12?

  When you run a quick installation, please provide details of the 11.2.0.3 already set to day/install ORACLE_HOME.

  No, it is not required that you follow all the steps described in the note... As you have not set up a portal, you can skip this step and move to another. This is the reason why "CONDITIONAL" was used in the respective step.
