Installation of the 10 elements
Downloading the application files and 7Z, but when running application an error informs you that I do not have the file archive... Please download all parts. I had only 2 files to download. Am I missing something or are they not connected correctly? All advice appreciated.
the two files are in the same directory and the 7z file cannot be extracted.

I have been on a downward slide since then. My feeling is this: you put the disc in, click once coupla and it works! I downloaded more crap from Adobe (Air, twice; QuickTime, twice; Nursery application, twice: Download Wizard, even creative cloud) in vain pursuit to install something that could be really easy but not for reasons unknown. I 'installed' PRE STI64 Installer - twice; It just sits there with the Wizard download as two pieces of clay. There is no menu to allow me to use it. It's the .exe file only that I could find in the folder PRE12.
I want to emphasize that I love PES 12, I'm not a critic of the software, I don't have any score to settle; In short, I am an ally, but this business with the premier elements leads me to madness. I spent hours, hours of frustration with this project.
Yet one thing, I can't find a way to change my username and remove my email address.
I want to thank those of you who so kindly and quickly responded to my call for help.

El 14 was downloaded from the Adobe web site.
I'm under Win 8, 64-bit.
I tried another plant which was successful. In order to register and pay for
my trial version, I had to call Adobe custermer, from the web site
would not accept my payment. When I clicked on "Proceed to checkout", nothing
that's happened.
I now have 14 El installed and working properly paid.

1st installation was not complete-only would not work. Uninstalled completely, same regedit. - no trace left. of course restarted. but it will not be installed. He wants to uninstall the non-existent items 10.

If your program is Photoshop Elements, then you have posted in the wrong forum. Some how your son got posted in the Forum Adobe Premiere elements (video editing). Please re-post your thread in the Adobe Photoshop elements Forum.
Wherever your son is, please include Adobe Photoshop Elements version and operating system and the description of the installation problem (error messages, stage of failure, etc.)
Support Adobe seems to be limited to Adobe cat and is classically limited to the current version which is 13. Then, you the best avenue to success is likely to be through the Adobe Photoshop elements Forum. But that shouldn't stop you trying to determine what kind of support you can get from Adobe cat on your question.

go through the last link in message 7. solve the problem yourself (with a few useful suggestions) is a chore, but has a few countervailing rewards.
You can also try another computer to contact adobe support, but you will probably need to be near the computer that needs PES installed on 13.
