  Aspects, it was probably due to a temporary Package sharing unavailability, as we had some problems a few weeks ago with our server.

  Access to the Package of the ADEP share, there are 2 possible login screens:

  (a) login screen the package share

  

  It comes from the Package share server and means that the server is up, running and accessible (possibly behind well-configured proxy).

  (b) login screen the product

  

  This screen will be displayed after a connection to the Server Package share has expired (not available) or denied (bad proxy server configuration).

• C7280 Installation error: the specified service does not exist as an installed service

  All,

  I have an AIO C7280 printer that is connected wireless to my router.  I have a pc (Vista) cable and a laptop wireless (XP) connected to the router as well.  I have no impression of question from the pc.  However, when I try to install the driver on the laptop I get an error just after that he asked me if it's a USB drive or a network printer.  I chose the network and the error appears saying "the specified service does not exist as an installed service.  I ping the printer from the laptop so I know it can 'see '.  I don't know what to do.  I have uninstalled/reinstalled several times without success.  Can anyone help?

  The service that the error message refers is the HP network devices support service. Try this...

  Open the contents of the installation CD, and then open the file "setup." Now you will find either a folder named 'netdevicemanager' or simply 'network '. Open if it is present. Now there should be a file with the same name as the file, but with extension .msi. Right-click on this file and click on uninstall. If you get a message stating that the action applies only to products that have been installed, and then click OK. Restart the computer IF necessary. Now, right-click on the file and click on install. Installation do not normally present a window of 'success' You will just see a bar of progress for a few seconds and disappear. Once this happens, restart the PC and check if the HP Network Device Support or similar service appeared in the list of services. If Yes, then reinstall the software, and it should install correctly.

  I installed the server VMWare View connection, but when I try to add my VC, I get a connection error. I checked the firewall ports and traffic becomes to my VC so I don't think that's the problem.   There is nothing to install. The URL... / sdk will give a 404 error, it is not used as-is. For example, I've seen configured to point to the VC:

  Server address: vc.mpryor.int

  User name: administrator

  Password: *.

  Connect using SSL: true

  This will save the URL https://vc.mpryor.int:443 / sdk in ADAM and use it. Navigation it will give me a 404 error, but I assure you that I'm using without problem.  You must have a network issue - check firewall, proxy server (for the machine, not your user account) and DNS.

  What is the URL that you use? It contains a host name? If so, how PL/SQL solves that one IP (use utl_inaddr.get_host_address () to determine that)?

  What is a valid IP address for the host? Connectivity to this IP address works of your Oracle (test using telnet on port https to IP) Server?

  Looks like on this server host name resolution is not working / configured correctly (saw that the code works on other servers).

  You can get this to install but it is not supported I think.

  Make a right click on the installer - under compatibility change Windows 7 compatibility version.

  Run the Setup program again and it will install successfully. The Toolbox itself seems to work under Windows 8, I think it is just a configuration problem.

  I currently have 32 bit vista Home premium which is according to the updates and the small area under the centre currently on service pack 3. Windows Update however wants me to install vista service pack 1 and it's the only update, what it will be. I tried the microphone.   I'm guessing that you mean that you are the only emergency service. I would have again assumed SIM card problem before the problem of the OS.

  Have you tried another SIM card in your BlackBerry and tried your SIM in another phone?

• Configuration of the SDK software problem

  When installing Flex Builder 3 beta, I installed the SDK in a location not standard (it is the same for the already installed 2.0.1 SDK of Flex Builder 2). Flex Builder 3 is none of them. When I try to manually add (Window-> Preferences-> Flex-> installed Flex SDKS), I get an error message "the page contains invalid values". In Flex Builder 2, the location of the SDK has been configured in < file eclipse > / configuration/com.adobe.flexbuilder/flexbuilder2.xml, Flex Builder 3 does not have this configuration file, so I guess that it relies on a standard location for the SDK.
  -Are there of the workaround to get there (to add software development kits custom)?

  Hi Peter,.

  A few questions:
  -have you installed the Standalone or Plugin of FB 3 version?
  -have you tried to uninstall and then re - install, either to a location standard or standard?

  It is important not to move the location of the SDKs folder tree by default once it is installed, FB is configured by the installer to find that tree and use it as its default global values. You can add your own additional copies of the SDK, in addition to the global default paths, but as if this works only if the default global paths are intact (juicy bug there).

  You can try another miracle solution is changing the file plugins/com.adobe.flexbuilder.flex_*/config.xml, to fix the overall paths which were disconnected on your system.

  Hi all, I have downloaded and installed the v1.0.0.5 BlackBerry Push Service SDK and tried to install it based on the Quick Start Guide. The first problem was that I couldn't start the Tomcat. After I double-clicked start.bat, I just a blank command window, open for 1-2 seconds and immediately close. I never had the same problem with another application using Tomcat, and can be resolved by using my own installation of Tomcat program. So I do the same thing, I use my own installation of Tomcat program. After that, I get the Tomcat service, but only service non-secure (http), not its secure (https) service. But I think that is not the problem, as long as I can still access it. Then I deploy the sample application (war file: debug-portal, sample-app and pushsdk) to my Tomcat and try to start it. I've got to start the Debug-Portal and pushsdk only, no-sample application. When I tried to start the sample application, I got this message: FAIL - the context path/sample-app Application could not be started, I searched this forum and have had almost similar problem. But those who wrote the display had the problem that all applications could not be started. And he found that it was caused by application_id. He forgot to put the id of the application during installation. I put my application_id (even if it's just false application id, 123456789012345). Can someone help me? How can I install and run the sample application? Thank for any help. PS.   Well Yes... I forgot to enter the app_id on sample-app - context.xml. all applications work now.

• PPG_SERVER_ERROR when creating the Service Push channel

  Once I finally managed to complete the registration process for the Service Push, when I try to register the user, the application throws this result since the createChannel function: 10110. The strange thing is that the user is saved in my page of push service, but cannot receive any push message, so it is basically useless.

  I researched and found that the code means PPG_SERVER_ERROR, which means that something is wrong with the server BlackBerry PPG.

  My question is: what are the causes of this error? Are one of the causes of the responsibility of the developer? How to avoid this error?

  BTW, my onPushTransportReady is not called after this error, so I have no idea what to do about it. Is it because I have use an alert to inform the user of the error? Who would have something to do with it?

  I use 3.2 Cordova and WebWorks 2.0.0.54 SDK, with the Service Push recently updated plugin.

  It turned out that I needed to put a label to the PPG_URL access in the config.xml file. After that it worked perfectly.

• Error code: C000009A (problems applied update registry during the installation of Windows 7 Service Pack 1)

  After installation of Windows 7 Service Pack 1, the system restarts, and before windows comes up the registry is updated.  I get an error C000009A 128115 of 387921 enforcement update (/ registry)... error that prevents the system to reboot.  Is it possible to get the system to reboot and complete the installation of the service pack.  The only way that I was able to work around this error is to restore from the system restore point before the service pack, but I want to apply the SP1 if possible.  ????

  Windows update and SP1 gave me the same problem and I used this hole day to RESOLVE.

  Windows 7 is not bootable. Safe mode Windows 7 was not bootable, - stop at classpnp.sys.  I used the line of command of the rescue disk and Linux (!) to fix it.  And then little important reading / advice on this forum.

  Error message at startup:

  After a few reboots failed, I tried a restore of windows rescue disk, but windows update has somehow erased all my restore point! (Argh)
