Installation of WebWorks-BB10-Win - v1.0 on a win7 64 bit OS, how to specify the version of 32-bit jdk

Hello world

IM struggling a bit here and for once google was not all useful.

I have a Win7 64 bit OS, where I have my jdk 64-bit installed for other projects, I'm working on that.

I must now do some development work light and is one of the things that he told me to install WebWorks-BB10-Win - v1.0, I downloaded... However on the installation manual it says to make sure that I use a 32 bit JDK for her (http://worklight.com/download/get-started/4.2.1/module-2.3 page 4)...

Is there a way to specify at the time of the installation wizard, where is the desired jdk? Because it is by default to always find the 64 bit, a... I played a bit with changing environment variables to no effect... I am really lazy uninstall the 64-bit jdk version just for that...

Thank you

Jose

    Hello.

I think the element of config.xml standard tag would be the rim: category, as in the example of documentation:

but it seems not be supported yet for BB10. You can ask a question to the github repo, I think that the BB10 Packer must be at the right place.

  • ID_ERR_NOTINSTALLVALZ_MESSAGE during the installation of VAP on Win XP

    Hello

I wanted to install the Toshiba value added package that has been designed for my Vista laptop (that I downgraded to XP), to work on my new install of XP. So no surprise, the installer wouldn't let me continue with the installation.

So just that to see if it was possible, I used Orca to modify the .msi file and delete the launch condition that wouldn't let me install. I found and deleted and saved the new .msi file and the installation worked... until the end when everything was recorded. It gave the error 'ID_ERR_NOTINSTALLVALZ_MESSAGE '.
I tried to find where in the .msi file this error is called or maybe its a few symbolic link?

Something like "_MESSAGE ID_ERR_ [errorXXX]. Someone at - it ideas?
Check the attachments for the Visual elements. Really, I wanted to release Toshiba package for XP, or at least the flash card utilities, so I can use my FN keys!

    Hello

Some people have posted this error message and the solution was an update of the BIOS.
But I doubt that this will help you

First of all this PPV package was designed for Win Vista and not for Win XP and, therefore, I don t think that it runs on the laptop with Win XP, even if you changed the installation program.

  • Earn 8.1 installation wants to replace Win 7

I would like to install 8.1 as a dual boot. I have 8.1 as a setup file of Microsoft web, apparently intended to install online. When I started the installation everything worked well, but there is no option to run 8.1 on a new partition on the C: drive. It looked as if the installation was about to land on my Win7 partition. I leave the facility.

I really have a lot of disk space on other readers. I would have preferred to set up a dual boot with 8.1 on a new drive and Win7 using the C: drive. If this is not possible, how can I get the web installer to install 8.1 on a clean partition on my C: drive to start instead of the Win 7 partition? I have tools to manage partitions and BCD, but this installation method doesn't seem to give a chance to run install it anywhere, but the location of Win7.

Help or pointers to the instructions would be greatly appreciated.

    GregS

Why don't you launch Setup from within PowerISO?

Why not browse the DVD or ISO mounted via Windows Explorer and run the installer from there?

What language of Windows 7 is installed and what language of Windows 10 have you downloaded?

Events for BB10 are managed differently.

    Add events with blackberry.event.addEventListener.
The events are in different areas.

You need not add blackberry.app.events to the config.xml file. Add/removeEventListener are always available.

(personal note: so goes for blackberry.app.event if you refer to my above config.xml file)

However, you do not have to add a feature that contains the actual event you want to play.

  • Problems by signing a request of WebWorks BB10

    Hello

I'm trying to sign a request for webworks (1.0.2.9) BB10 but I get an error message:

[ERROR]   Error: The signature on the request of code signing did not check.  The probable cause of this problem is entered a wrong password CSK.

The problem is that I can't determine the parameter to use to specify the password of KSB. There seems to be a single "-g" parameter and password seems to relate to the keystore password.

When signing for tablet OS theres '-gp12 ' and '-gcsk ', but these settings are no longer valid.

    Thanks in advance.

The problem lies in the fact that my keys and csk file passwords are different and bbwp expects that they are the same (that she is not made for the playbook). If I created new keys, I would use the same for both.

In any case, I found a solution and it is to use the Pei parameter:

    bbwp c:\myapp\myarchive.zip g mykeystorepassword Pei params.json o c:\myapp\output

The csk password is specified in the file params.json as well:

    {
    'blackberry-signatory': {}
    '- cskpass': 'mycskpassword '.
    }
    }

  • Latest flash player installation fails in IE8/Win XP

I tried to install the latest version of Flash Player on my XP system for two days. Here is my system info:

Win = 32-bit Windows XP Media Center Edition Version 2002 Service Pack 3

Browser = Internet Explorer Version 8.0.6001.18702

Flash Player - one I used (recent but not a beta) has been uninstalled when I tried to install your latest version on your site in the usual way. After a few attempts to install, I downloaded and executed the Player uninstall program according to the instructions found on your site - Adobe® Flash® Player 10.1 software installation/uninstallation r53 - just to make sure I was doing a clean install. I also downloaded the latest version and it ran manually.

All attempts to install failed. I saw two different installers, BTW, and all two reported a failure but a reason and suggested to your troubleshooting page.

I went to the troubleshooting page, where I've tried everything, by the book.

More recent attempts produced the following message appears when you try to install on your site:

"The version of adobe flash player ActiveX that you are trying to install is not the most recent version. Please visit http://www.adobe.com/go/getflashplayer_fr for the latest and most secure version. »

I went to this page, again without success. There is no Flash x components listed in my active browser objects.

I managed to install the latest version of the Shockwave Player (I tried, just to see if that would fail, but who succeeded).

I must add that I work from web using Flash 8, so it's also on my system, but I've ever run into a problem installing a newer Flash Player up to now. (And I've been using Flash since before Macromedia, when it was called FutureSplash.)

    Obviously, HELP!

It almost made me. Countless installs / uninstalls, Poirier, etc later, I finally found a solution that worked for me:

    http://kb2.Adobe.com/CPS/494/cpsid_49419.html

I hope this works for you, too!

A damaged Windows system registry or incorrect registry permissions settings may prevent you from installing Flash Player.

    Symptoms may include:

    • During installation, you see the error message "unable to install. For troubleshooting, please see: http://www.adobe.com/go/tn_19166. »
    • Your installation of Flash Player completes without error, but you cannot view Flash content in Internet Explorer.
    • Some sites tell you that you don't have the correct version of Flash Player, even if you have installed the latest version.
    • Some sites tell you to reinstall Flash Player, but after you do, you see the same message.

Permissions can be tricky, but in most cases, you can install and use Adobe Flash Player, if you are connected to a Windows administrator account. If you are unsure how to proceed, consult your system administrator or read the Windows documentation.

    System administrators

If you are a system administrator, see permissions for registry required to install Flash Player or update (TechNote tn_19148).

    Solution

Warning! By following the instructions below, you will modify the Windows system registry. A mistake could cause serious damage to the system, which may require you to reinstall your operating system.

If you are not comfortable editing the registry, get help from your system administrator or other COMPUTER professional.

If you choose to proceed, first back up your entire hard drive, and create a Windows System Restore Point.

Adobe Systems cannot be held responsible for any damages resulting from your following these instructions.

    1. Make sure that you are connected to a Windows administrator account. If you're not, you will not be able to use SubInACL.
    2. Download SubInACL from Microsoft Download Center.
    3. Follow the installation instructions. Make sure you only install SubInACL (subinacl.exe) to the directory C:\Program Files\Windows Resource Kits\Tools.
    4. Download the reset_fp10.zip file.
    5. Open the fp10.zip file and extract the reset_fp10.cmd file to the directory C:\Program Files\Windows Resource Kits\Tools\. Note that this file and SubInACL (subinacl.exe) must be in this directory.
    6. Double-click reset_fp10.cmd. A command window will open and SubInACL will run.
    7. Do not use the machine while SubInACL is running.
    8. After SubInACL is completed, you will see a prompt "Press any key to continue".
    9. Install Flash Player on the Flash Player download page.
    10. To verify that your installation was successful, see the about Flash Player page. At the top of the screen, you should see a message that says "Adobe Flash Player successfully installed."
  • Stuck at 99% installation of updates. Win 7 Ultimate for Windows 10

Need help please, I am stcuk for like 3 hours or so, tried twice... stuck at 99% installation updated ready... Try to update my Windows 7 Ultimate for Windows 10... Thank you...

Give it a little more hours and see if it progresses. If it does not, click Close, and then restart your computer.

    Retry the upgrade manually:

    Option 1:

    Download the media creation tool

Click with the right button on the MediaCreationTool.exe file and then click on run as administrator.

Note: How to check if you are downloaded or installed the update Windows 10 November

How to create an ISO or USB drive.

Select upgrade this PC now and then click Next

    Option 2:

    Task of pre-required

When you make significant changes to your computer for example updated operating system, you must always back up. See the links to resources on the backup by clicking the link for each version of Windows you are using: Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8/8.1

    then

    then

    • Turn off (preferably uninstall) your Antivirus utility before you perform the upgrade.
    • Reboot several times, and then try again.
    • Disable the general USB peripherals (for example - smart card reader).
    • If you are using a SCSI drive, make sure you have the drivers available for your storage on a thumdrive device and it is connected. During the installation of Windows 10, click on the advanced custom Option and use the command load driver to load the driver for the SCSI drive. If this does not work and the installer still fails, consider switching to an IDE based hard drive.
    • Perform a clean boot, restart, and then try again.
    • If you upgrade to the. ISO file, disconnect from the Internet during the installation, if you are connected in LAN (Ethernet) or wireless, disable both, then try to install.
    • If you are updated through Windows Update, when download reaches 100% disconnect from the LAN (Ethernet) Internet or Wi - Fi, then proceed with the installation.
    • If this does not work, try using the. ISO file to upgrade if possible.
    • If you are connected to a domain, go to a local account.
    • If you have an external equipment, attached to the machine, unplug them (example, game controllers, USB sticks, external hard drive, printers, peripherals not essential).
  • doesn't have a HDD with Win7 OEM, which has been improved to win 10 - No Media - how to install the new SSD?

    Hi members of the community.

One of my colleagues brought me his personal computer to the difficulty.  It's a phone of 2011 which has Win 7 pre installed on it (OEM with a recovery partition).  It has no support for the version of Win 7 and she never bothered with the creation of recovery media or to order the installation media, but since its purchase, it has upgraded to Win 8, then 8.1 and finally Win10.

Problem, it is the disk HARD watch of major equipment failures and every time you start more errors appear that problems are cascade.  There is a recovery on the HARD drive partition, but windows has trouble starting, I fear that this recovery partition is useless, because we don't want the windows reinstalled on this faulty drive.

Can any advise if there is a way to install a windows OS on windows versions, that it has improved or the original win7 OEM supplied with the laptop without the media and with a damaged HARD drive?

The hard drive that is damaged is a 750 GB drive at 5400 RPM samsung - she bought a new 980 GB SSD sata III.  I have already confirmed the laptop can use Sata III - I have a true picture and was curious to know if I can clone the recovery partition (if its still viable) can I do it on the SSD and then force the recovery on the SSD drive?  or that violate the license for OEM?

Any advice would be appreciated, because I'm used to using volume licenses and I am new to OEM preinstalled OS damaged.

    Thank you very much

    ENO.

Because the system is currently registered and activated with 10 Windows, just download the Windows 10 edition which currently installed, and then perform a new installation.
