  The only solution that worked for me, it's that I downloaded from a link in the Help menu on adobe.com.  I was finally able, download and install flash player 14 from there.

  Hi, I read your latest messages and when though seems inactive, just disable it if you can anyway. Good idea on the 'never' :-)

  First download and SAVE FP uninstaller on your desktop:

  Next move the archived site http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/142/tn_14266.html download the Flash Player 9.0.280 21.8 MB on your desktop. It is a zip file.

  Search and extract: Internet Explorer flashplayer9r280_winax.exe and place it on your desktop.  (1.46 MB)
  Download the FP for IE Installer and SAVE to your desktop:(latest version)

  Once you have on your desk, using the administrator account, you CLOSE all browser windows.
  Disable McAfee
  Look in your tray (area near the clock) system for instant messengers, yahoo, aol, etc and turn them off.
  Your computer, run the program uninstall and when it's finished, Reboot (restart).
  Check and make sure that McAfee is always disabled.
  Run the Setup from vs 9 and when you're done, restart your computer
  Test your browser here and you should be able to see the Flash animation (spin) logo and the Flash Player version must be listed.

  Now, you run the program to uninstall again to uninstall vs 9, when finished, restart your computer
  Check and make sure that McAfee is always disabled.
  Run Setup vs 10.2.152.32 and when you're done, restart your computer.
  Then test your browser and you should have now installed 10.2.152.32 vs. If you can see the logo Flash animation (spin), then you have probably Shockwave Flash Object in IE addons, so check that.
  You may want to print these directions to make it easier to follow.

  I'm on a MacBook Pro running Yosemite (OSX 10.10.2) and I'm trying to update Adobe Flash Player version 17.0.0.134 although the installation hangs at 25%.  I downloaded the installation package of the Adobe.com via Firefox v36.0.1 site.

  I uninstalled the previous version, restarted the computer and retried the installation, nothing helps.  I also searched forum questions already asked about this problem, and most of what I saw was for v10. I'm looking so answers resources updated to fix this.

  All suggestions are greatly appreciated and this is welcomed.

When you see the Red 'install' folder, right click and select "view the contents of the package; Click on the "Happy" folder Then click on the "Resources" folder Then, double-click on the file "Adobe Flash Player.pkg". The installation will begin.  It worked for me... FINALLY!  Ugh...

• Adobe Flash Player 13 hangs up on download 50% during installation.

  Hello. I searched the forums and cannot understand it.

  I have 3 Macs. 2 2013 Macbook Air Laptops and a Mac Mini connected to a monitor used as a desktop computer. I can't install Adobe Flash Player on the Mac Mini, no matter what I do. All 3 computers have the new Mac OS X Mavericks 10.9 - and are fully updated. Laptop computers have no problem. But whenever I need to see something in the flash pointed out how it is not installed on my computer, I follow the steps to download, I leave, I'm going to install, and after it starts downloading as soon as you get to 50% it hangs up and will not be installed. I even saw that it was a problem and track the steps of Adobe for the right click, view content and go this rout, but the .pkg file is NOT in the resource file for Adobe 13 how it is indicated in the instructions. When I try to install Flash 12 or 11 Flash it won't let me because it says that these versions are not comparable with my machine.

  Is there advice that works with the latest version I can try or is it not an obvious solution.

  Hello, please try to restart your computer and run the installer flash afterwards before you open firefox or other browsers.

  Also note that you are running an outdated version seriously of firefox which is affected by many known security vulnerabilities. to keep your system and all data on it without danger, Update Firefox to the latest version as soon as possible!

  After reading about the history of critical Flash Player update 23 patch flaws | PCWorld , I followed the link on the page update the version on my laptop at the 19.0.0.185.

  Before that I did I ran a scan antivirus to my laptop, using the Kaspersky Security Total program, showing that the already installed version of flash player is a vulnerable program that needed to be updated. Then I uninstalled the current version and tried to upgrade to the new version 19.0.0.185.

  When I tried to install the update, I saw the message "Application initialization error." I tried this update several times with the same result.

  My laptop is running Windows 7 Home Premium x 64 SP1 Build 7601, Internet Explorer 11 with Kaspersky Total Security 2015 (15.0.2.361).

  Please can someone help me to get this issue resolved because I want to try to get this installed update as soon as possible.

  I would get the Installer log file of your part online for further investigation.  Follow these steps:

  1. Launch Windows Explorer and navigate to C:\Users\\AppData\Local\Temp\
  2. Create a file named ADM.trace empty text (right-click in an empty area and select new > text Document and name it ADM.trace).
     • Note: Make sure that the file extensions are visible so that the extension is .trace and not .txt.  See show or hide Windows Help - file name extensions
  3. Rerun Online Setup until it returns the error
  4. In Windows Explorer, go to C:\Users\\AppData\Local\Temp\Adobe_ADMLogs
  5. Download the two files, Adobe_ADM.log and Adobe_GDE.log, by following the instructions that the specified item was not found.
  6. Post the link to the files downloaded in your response.

  Can Kaspersky interferes with the update.  Can you try disabling Kaspersky and Setup?  Please do after getting the log files.

  If you continue to receive the error with disabled Kaspersky, please try the installer in offline mode, posted at the bottom of the Installation problems | Flash Player | Windows page in the section "problems".

  Please provide the log file because it will help determine why the error is returned.

  It is an error with the installation online program and I have forwarded this to the team that manages the installation program online for further investigation.

  I ran with success the Adobe Flash Player Uninstaller. And I still get this message (in the installation of window 3 3) "Adobe Flash could not be installed".  I did a reboot after uninstall it before running the installation of version 17 again (Firefox and all the closed software)

  My browser is Firefox 37.0.2

  FYI I have Flash CS6 v.12.0.2.529 installed on this computer, I removed the Flash Player in the folder.

  According to the instructions, I set the preferences of Adobe to allow Adobe install updates and closed Firefox (and closed all programs) to uninstall and install.

  It worked! I had done everything before that and had just abandoned. Thank you!

  Hi, im trying to download the latest version of Adobe flash and the Installer keeps freezing. my browser is Firefox but it is the latest version of it and iv tried other browsers and nothing changes. It is a PC brand new that I received yesterday so I don't know what could be wrong. whenever I have start downloading it downloads as usual, then im asked to run the program, and before I click Yes I close all the windows and everything is running in the background. then I click Run and the gray area appears for the installer, but nothing happens. It's just a gray box. I do not see a progress bar or anything like that. then, I open the Task Manager because the installer does not and close the program from there. I don't understand what could be wrong or what im going to do. IV tried the standalone uninstall program and it installs it always. im running windows 7 Home Professional.   Before opening anything else, go to your Downloadsa folder and run the UNINSTALL program to remove all instances of Flash Player.

  Then, run the installation of the ActiveX program.

  Finally, run the Setup program for the other browsers.

  Download the TWO files, one on the FIRST right by right clicking and selecting ' save target under "... other clicking and following the steps to dwonload the installer of the FULL ActiveX.
