Instruction in() allowed in triggers or DAL?

Hi, new to all Documaker and working on certain triggers (custom rule settings). Everything that exists is using AND/OR to process multiple results then I wonder if IN() statement is allowed? Found zero issues on this by searching around.

Example:

I have something similar

A = {! / PublishingRequest/claim/skill 1, 2}: if (A IN ('FL', 'NC', 'TN', 'LA')): return('^1^'): other: return('^0^'):end:

Instead of

A = {! / PublishingRequest/claim/skill 1,2}: if (A = 'FL') OR (A = "NC") OR (A = 'TN') OR (A = "THE"): return ('^ 1 ^'): other: return('^0^'):end:

I've played around with the syntax, but did not get it to work, I'm sure it's even allowed

THX

What you want is to look at the CodeInList() function.

[What's new]

Given your example, the statement would be written like this:

A = {! / PublishingRequest/claim/jurisdiction 1,2}: if (CodeInList(A,"'FL,NC,TN,LA")): return('^1^'): other: return('^0^'):end:

CodeInList() returns the position in the list of matching variable.

The method you wrote the line seems to be in the format used by the old rule of "IF". So I guess that's possible, you use a version of the product before the CodeInList() is available. See your DAL help and documentation.

So if the return value is not important in your situation - other than having returned 0 when the issue isn't there, you could just simply like this:

A = {! / PublishingRequest/claim/skill 1, 2}: return ("^" & CodeInList(A,"'FL,NC,TN,LA") & "^"):

This request will display "^ 0 ^ 'if the data is not in the list." Otherwise, a value of 0 would be replaced by 1, 2, 3, or 4.

    Hi all

    We have an implementation in current of Documaker for an Oracle product. How trigger us it is via a file called BEATS, gentnw32, gendaw32 and genptw32.

    When gendaw32 or gendata is executed, it triggers a DAL script that retrieves the file name of the PDF file to print and return. We know the Script being called to be named PDF_NAME, because we put a Print_it in all DAL scripts in the file SETRCPTB. The question is: How does the GenData know what this script that he must call, how do we set and where it passes the name of the document in question.

    The < debug_switches=""> INI group is generally added to your fsisys.ini file. There is a configuration INI directive more you'll need to turn on debugging.

    < debug_switches="">

    Enable_Debug_Options = YES

    DALLIB = Yes

    DumpDAL = ALL

    The debug output will be written to a trace file normally called 'trace.' in the current directory unless you specify your own trace file name using the trace file in the INI control group.

    If you use the MultiFilePrint callback function to produce PDFs (a normal scenario for PDF generation), then at the end of each transaction, a new name of output file using a meter of working capital at the end of the file name.
    MultiFilePrint makes the following assumption on the output file name:
    XXXX #.
    XXXX is four characters who are preserved.
    # = four characters set on a sequence number of zeros.
    MultiFilePrint assumes that the original name of batch printing ends with 0001. The second opened file will be 0002 and so on, until 9999.

    Welcome to the community @brianardmore HP

    I came across your post about problems you encounter when you install the printer on your system Windows 10 and wanted to respond to my suggestions.

    I recommend power cycling network devices and a clean boot on your computer and then try to install again.

    1. turn off the printer and the computer and unplug the router for 1 minute (do not press the buttons on the router).

    2. plug the router back in and wait another minute, turn on the printer and the computer.

    3. from the computer, start clean: clean boot instructions

    4. download and install the printer here: printer install file

    5 return to clean boot instructions and allow the start of programs.

    Note: the security program you have on your computer may be detecting the printer as a threat. Try looking through the settings in this program to add the printer to the list 'allow' so that he knows that it is safe.

    You can also try installing the printer using a different method, such as if you are installing wireless, try USB and then convert the USB wireless when you have completed the installation.

    If you have any questions let me know the details. Good luck!

    The only thing is that I'm unable to use wireless to connect to the internet. Hello

    Are you sure of the Portege S100 was delivered with a minPCI wireless network card?
    You should check the bottom of the unit. There you should find a label with a WLan card name. If the details WLan card fails, I assume that the wireless network card does not exist.

    By the way; I advise to use the XP drivers from this page:
    http://EU.computers.Toshiba-Europe.com-> support download &-> download drivers

    Here, you will also find an installation instruction that allows to install all the drivers in the correct order.

  • How can I transfer files from my old pc sony Vista for my laptop new HP 17-j003

    How can I transfer files from my old sony pc running vista for my laptop new HP 17-j003 Windows 8

    Welcome to the HP, Roodie forum.

    There is an easy way to do it using Microsoft Windows Easy Transfer :

    Transfer files and settings from another PC

    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    If you do not want to transfer files using the easy transfer method, you can manually make the copy.

    1. You can connect the systems on the same network,
    2. Define the folders that contain your data transfer to 'Share' on the network
    3. Map the drive on your new Vista computer system network
    4. Copy the data you want to transfer

    On the Vista Machine:

    • Open a Windows Explorer window,
    • Right click on the folder that contains the data you want to 'share' (transfer)
    • Click Properties > share > share and follow the instructions to allow the folder to be shared on the network

    On the Machine Windows 8:

    • Windows key (opens the start screen) > anywhere type 'computer' >
    • Click on "computer" to open the "Computer" File Explorer window >
    • Click map network drive and follow the instructions to map the drive

    Don't forget: If your account name is different on the Vista computer, you will need to click on "Sign in using different credentials" and then enter the name of the account on the Vista computer AND the password for this account.

    You can do this with the upper or lower level folders folder level - as long as the folder is shared, you should have general access to the data it contains.

    There are cases where you will not end up being "owner" of the data transferred - you will have to perhaps enter and adjust the property for files / folders after they are copied to the computer of Windows 8.

  • Blurred printing 276dw wifi connection to Windows 8.1 update 1

    I have a 276dw connected to a large LAN home network with wifi.

    The individual workstations are connected to the wireless router, ethernet cable, portable computers connect to wifi. All of the machines in question are running Windows 8.1.

    The 276dw is perfectly visible on the network and connects very well. However, when I print from Windows (for example, the word 2013) prints out truncated, often missingthe last few pages of a multi-puage document.

    At one point, I found some instructions that allowed me to remove the printer as it has been installed by means of the own HP and Windows IP settings installation software manually. This enabled the SCART to PRINT correctly; However, I wasn't able to use the HP software to access the scanner. UH... not so great?

    So I just ran the installation again, thinkiong the problems would have probably gone now--only they don't have. And, unfortunately, I can't find the hack I used to get the machine before!

    Can someone tell me what the devil is going on? Running an HP printer can ' ^ t be hard!

    If your router's Ethernet cable connected to the printer, then you should be using the normal installation of the cable network of the installer option.  You use the wireless installation option only when you connect directly to the car radio wireless network printing and without the assistance of the network home.  Ignore wireless for now.

    If you are able to get the installation to complete, but it breaks later, then your printer may lose the network connection with your PC.  A quick and easy way to improve something as it is to assign the printer a static IP on your home network address.  A static IP address is one that never changes and is outside of the normal DHCP pool of addresses automatic IP supported by your router.  This way you can avoid your router by automatically assigning an IP address different than your computer has previously been referancing.

    Try to assinging a static IP address and see if it improves the situation.  We can dig through the logs from there if necessary.

  • Toner cartridges HP LaserJet M1132 not delivering full capacity

    I have a LaserJet M1132 MFP bought last week. USB connection, OS is Windows 8-64 bit. Have upgraded to the latest firmware. Driver is the latest driver for Windows 8. The settings are default (fastres 600).

    When using the cartridge provided initial toner with the device, it delivered only about 250 pages of text (text of the note and no graphics) before he missed. I know because I bought three reams of paper when I bought the camera and used half of a package. Coverage was about 50% per page, double-sided. I took and he trembled, but this made no difference.

    I bought two new original HP CE285A cartridges as I bought the printer. I was wondering if the original cartridge was a reduced capacity cartridge. So I installed a new cartridge. The toner light came after printing 935 pages (from the status page). Once again, the majority of them were text pages to 50% coverage double-sided.

    Each cartridge is £75, resulting in a cost of about 8 p/page page (not counting the cost of the printer) that is outrageous for a laser printer. Packaging estimates approximately 1,500 pages per cartridge, but I clearly did not get anywhere near this with the first cartridge and I don't get that with the other or the other. I have an another HP MFP (3500), which delivers about 5 trains before a cartridge runs out.

    I am a very experienced with 25 years in the printing and imaging user and know that estimates assume some coverage. I use a heavy cover. I am very dissatisfied with say the least. Your help and advice appreciated.

    Concerning

    Tony Harris

    The only thing you can do to try to extend the life of the cartridge a bit more, it's allow EconoMode on the print driver.  Most likely, this has been activated on the devices tested for the performance of the cartridge.  I'll include instructions to allow below.  Let me know what happens.

    1. Click on the start menu.
    2. Click devices and printers.
    3. Right click on your printer.
    4. Select Printer Preferences.
    5. Click the quality tab.  It can be labeled as the paper/quality tab.
    6. Click the box next to EconoMode to enable it.
    7. Click on apply to save the changes.
    8. Click OK to close the window.

    You can press the 'Alt' key once on your keyboard to display the menu inside Windows Media Player bar (this also works in Internet Explorer and your Windows File Explorer too).
