  Without the development environment, you cannot change screws LabVIEW.  The runtime engine is responsible for actually running the code in order to integrate LabVIEW executables and run them on other machines without the development environment.

• How to connect Labview to a USB sensor without existing driver?

  I'm currently trying to a pressure transducer Omega PX409 USBH will display a reading in Labview. The transducer is USB connected, and the software that provides the Omega shows a reading and therefore indicates that the sensor is connected to the computer. However, it is not recognized by Labview or NI MAX. Although the pilot NI VISA Wizard recognizes the USB connection, it I cannot install the INF files that it generates on my computer. I'm pretty stuck on how to proceed in order to write a driver that displays the data in Labview. Any help would be appreciated!

  I am a complete newbie. I had to have an existing LabView project and have been asking if it can work with a PHP Web site. I would like to be able to create a form (for entry) on a Web page, and then go this LabView project entry existing. The existing LabView project then treats the input and generates a text file that the user wants to download from the site.

  So my question is, is it possible? If so, how to configure it and what products/costs might be involved?

  Hi Andy -.

  There are a few limitations "Remote panels" who probably will not do what you are trying to do as possible.  First, the remote panels have only runs on a Server Web of LabVIEW, and this server does not support PHP.  Integrate a web site that uses a web server with more features of LabVIEW is to put the server on a different port and then use an iFrame or something to integrate LabVIEW remote panel page into your own web site.  Communication back will probably have to use another protocol tansportation or to read and write files that they read and write.

  I highly recommend that you look in another function to LabVIEW, called "Web Services".  These are quite a bit different approach of the remote control and are available only on version 8.6 and later (and probably only editions of developers).  Services Web of LabVIEW allows you to perform a LabVIEW program (or modify an existing one) to connect back using XML.  It is a common place to consume and send commands to a Web Service of LabVIEW by using something like PHP or Flash.  However, you are responsible to provide interfacing features in the language that you use that consume the Web Service of LabVIEW.  For example, instead of a graphic on the front, you would need graphical data output and a PHP program that can do something with it.

  Web Services are quite handy if you need a 'light' client, as well as material interaction features of LabVIEW.

• Could not find NIFgen functions

  I tried to integrate labview code nor-5450.  Initially, I tried the IVI Fgen functions to speak with the unit.  I used the Fgen soft front panel to communicate with thin devices, and I ran OR spy to get an idea of what goes on behind the front panel.  The first function call is niFgen_InitWithOprions.  I don't find this function in labview.  The closest is IViFgen_InitWithOptions.  However, this function does not work when I give it the same parameters as the niFgen version.  I get an error that says the name of session or logical name could not be resolved to a session or pilot.  Also, Miss me the code any of the example labview (only C code example provided with my system) which makes things more difficult.  Any help on this would be appreciated.

  You should look at PowerPay / authorize .net API process credit card applications - generally, they provide an API and sample code that you can put in an application.

  In general, I assume that this would require a HTTPS POST request - including the requested fields as required by the payment gateway. Chapter 3 of this documents looking at seems to suggest that: http://www.authorize.net/support/CP_guide.pdf

  You would then receive a response indicating that the payment was successful or not.

  1 DAQmx Base is only supported on Mac OS.  You can find petitions on the exchange of idea ask for better support.

  2 DAQmx and all its beautiful examples are not installed on the Mac.  This means that the measurement and Automation Explorer (MAX) is not installed on the Mac and things such as the DAQ Assistant exist (although it is not a great loss).

  3. when DAQmx Base is installed on Mac OS X with LV 2012 you should have the DAQmx Base screws accessible from the measures of e/s palette.

  4 installation DAQmx Base includes a bunch of examples in this direction: Applications: National Instruments: LabVIEW 2012: examples: daqmxbase: However, the example Finder doesn't seem to know they are there, then you will need to manually search.

  One good thing about DAQmx Base is that it is almost entirely written in LabVIEW, so you can see what he does.

• Ethernet I / P Communication between Fanuc LR Mate 200iC and LabVIEW

  How can I read the outputs and write entries of a device, Ethernet/IP, using the NI Ethernet/IP drivers?

  I recently get the NI Ethernet/IP driver OR to communicate with a robot of 200iC Fanuc LR Mate using this communication protocol. In fact, I set up the robot as a parameter to map digital 1 to 64 and output digital from 1 to 64 and through the Ethernet/IP configuration.

  What I do is for example, a specific moment in my logic to the status of an output of the Fanuc Robot to take measures, or give some input to the Fanuc Robot so do some operations. Now, as I noted above, I get this drivers recently and apparently they are new or regular technical support do not support for this product. Basically there is no apartment of the LabVIEW help on this driver documentation, and this help doesn't help too much.

  So, if someone can help me to make this work I really appreciate it a lot. I'm in the middle of a project we showld integrate via Ethernet/IP. Here is a screenshot of the the inputs and outputs in the configuration of Fanuc Robot are on Slot 1. Attached is a table with a summary of the Fanuc Robot of the configuration settings that should be used to set up the scanner (in this case, LabVIEW):

• Passing a reference to queue as a sequence with LabVIew API parameter

  I'm running a sequence of Labview with the entryPoint.Run method.

  Now, I want to pass a reference to queue to TS for use as the parameter for a stage of the action (the action must information sent through this queue). I tried to move the queue as a parameter for the valVariant parameter of the object of Subproperty seuqence.

  LabVIEW throughs 1 error when I try to setValVariant.

  The reason why I want to do it is because I want to integrate the execution of the sequence in my draft framework for an actor.

  Is it better to move the refs to the queue as a reference to be able to send data to an application running?

  It is not possible to use references of LabVIEW in TestStand queue, since they do not share the same instance of the application. You can pass a reference to queue as an integer (U32 or I32), but you can not use in TestStand.

  I found 2 ways for you to use:

• Cannot get DAQ Assistant in Labview to cDAQ 9184

  I am trying to build a system for the acquisition of data with one NOR cDAQ 9184. I installed the drivers for the system and I'm able to get to the DAQ system using NI Max (under my system - devices and Interfaces - devices on network) and all channels appear well, however, I tried to follow the procedure described in http://www.ni.com/white-paper/11703/en/#toc2 to integrate my system with LabView and I am unable to find the tab software under the unit to be able to write the RIO 3.5.1 on the appliance and cannot find the device to through the LabView project.

  Your real problem is error-50103.  This is a common mistake, and you can find the answers for it if you are looking for in the forums.

  The problem is that you can't have several tasks (or several assistants DAQ) try to access the same device at the same time.

  Make a DAQ assistant who has all defined channels you wish to purchase.
