Integrate workflows Oracle UCM with ADF

Hello

I want to ask questions about how to integrate a workflow (criteria) on the University Complutense of Madrid with an application of ADF where I want to create a page of the ADF that contain all the document of the user in a specific stage of the workflow as an Inbox, and he can approve or reject the document from this page of the adf. Can anyone know how to do this?

Thank you

It's not exactly an integration. You just need to call a service and view its result in ADF accordingly. A useful service can be GET_WORKFLOWS_FOR_ALL, the other GET_WORKFLOWDOCUMENTS.

  • Oracle UCM with Site Studio - friendly URLs

    Hello

Sorry if this has been answered before...

    Scenario:

Oracle UCM 11 g with a Public website created by the Studio Site. NO proxy http in front of this thing.

The 'real' URL to access a particular section...

    http://www.Server.com/sitename/ThingsToDo/LibraryServices/index.htm

To reach desired URL in the same place...

    http://www.Server.com/library/index.htm

Basically, I want to get rid of/SiteName/ThingsToDo/LibrararyServices and replace by only / library

I think I'd be able to do if the site was hosted behind IIS or was an Oracle HTTP Server infront. In its current form the site AAU runs in Weblogic 11 g. Is there a way to reach the actual URL rewritten using Weblogic or UCM?

Please let me know. Thank you!

    JDM

    It would be:

    library/index.htm => ? IdcService = SS_GET_PAGE & nodeId = 12345

1235 designating the real nodeId of your node/section http://www.server.com/SiteName/ThingsToDo/LibraryServices/index.htm

Good luck and please award points as you wish.

  • Oracle UCM - working with forms

I have a question about the use of forms in Oracle UCM. I have a requirement to display a form on a Web site and the fields that the user fills out the form stored in Oracle UCM some how. I played with the form editor and I did a form. I see that I can map results in the content server metadata fields.

Is it possible to use this utility to create a file that is checked in the content server when the form is submitted. Is there a better way to do what I'm trying to accomplish.

Thanks in advance for your help,

    Heya DB
    Find the forms HCSF.
on submit, they create HCSP pages which are archived at the University Complutense of MADRID as successful content.

  • Can integrate us Oracle form recognition with AD

    Hi guys,.

I want to implement the safety of OFR. We will use the OFR's web-based client. Now you can give the answer of the sub questions:

    1. There are two options to connect the OFR user, one is authentication of database and another is basic authentication Windows. Can I connect AD for authentication?

    2. If I can connect to base AD authentication then the way in which the role will come to user? What is the advertising group will be same as role in OFR? Same as content!

3 OFR straightens capture export directory and create lot of OFR file, but I want to implement the auditor from different lots. Means different lots will have different Org_ID and this org_id user should see these lots to the auditor. How can I implement this type of scenarios?

    Thanks in advance.

    Kind regards

    Shad

    Shad,

States that can be seen are in the section of the settings menu of the auditor under workflow, but it is not intuitive, right-click on the State of the left hand, normally 550 then you can add edit or delete States together 550, 551 and the user will see only the State 551 lots

You save the settings of the Auditor in a .dvs file, if the user double-clicks on this he launched check with the settings chosen, or you can also call executable auditor with a parameter pointing to the dfs file. DVS to create 550.dvs files, 551. DVS etc. Not yet had to do using Web check but the parameters must take place somewhere in the designer you define the workflow for dealing with all States to 700 course

  • Forms 10 g itegration with ADF

    Hello

Can integrate us Forms 10 g with ADF? Articles/reference to it?

    Thank you
    CN

Well, let me give you the "official" line

In the end, everything boils down to what your company is trying to reach. Discover http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/developer-tools/forms/forms-modernization-092149.html - there are whitepapers and viewlet.

I would tend to discourage very close integration of applications. For example, a screen Forms called a JSF which then calls a screen of forms that has a JSF embeded in it. This tight weaving of technology can store a lot of problems for you.

Simply calling the forms of a JSF application or visa versa a sort of 'fire and go' is ok, but try to consider them as separate applications.

The back-end through SOA integration is something that is much more feasible and avoids some of the pitfalls of trying to crush heavily applications which, to be honest, were never really built to be closely woven together. Of course, I would like to point out that some customers have made this (Eurotransplant) but it means not that it will work in all cases and as I pointed out already, one must be aware of the potential problems (for example every application has its own transaction and the user, so indeed you may lock you out of data if you change it in one application but want to access it from the other.

So, bottom line - what do you do?

  • Oracle UCM 10 gr 3 and webcenter 11g, WCM Portlets

    Hello
I installed Oracle UCM 10 gR 3, Site Studio 10 gR 4 and Webcenter 11 g. Now my problem is how to get WYSIWIG (WCM Portlet), created at the University Complutense of MADRID to be found in webcenter spaces.

I understand after reading a few articles, it's the only way I can communicate is through WSRP (CIS and CPS), if it's the case u can suggest what is the difference between them and the one that is best for an Intranet Application. Please also provide an example for the portlet and steps to install locally.

I don't want to give all the answers at once. Fair share little by little, even if you have some knowledge.

    Thank you
    Pradeep.

    I'm a Newbie!

    Hey Pradeep.

You have many options to extract the contents of UCM in addition to CIS and by extension CPS WebCenter. The best article on the subject can be found here (if you have not already read): http://blogs.oracle.com/fusionecm/2010/04/oracle_ucm_integration_with_we.html

To more directly answer your questions, the difference between CIS and CPS is that CIS is the lower level APIs making communication with the Complutense University of MADRID. It serializes your request across the and manages response data that comes packing back up as an easy-to-use objects. CPS relies on the CIS as its backend to allow portlets to communicate with the Complutense University of MADRID.

For an intranet application, you have many options. Records management, I would recommend a combination of the taskflow of document library with a couple of CPS portlets (my workflow tasks, etc.). To retrieve content to display as part of an intranet "site" I would exploit the content Presenter taskflow.

If the content to retrieve active 10gr 4 Site Studio I would recommend instead that you roll your own simple content portlets. This is what we ended up doing to Fishbowl and reused them to great effect implementation of several intranet portals for different customers in a very short time. • Draft mode in Oracle UCM

    Hello everyone,

I just wanted to confirm you if there is a draft Mode for document download (consignment) in Oracle UCM. If we have one, how to set up to appear and work.

    Thanks in advance!

    Hello Prashant,

When the document goes to the workflow of criteria, user who created a document can be easily defined as a reviewer by using tokens. See http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E10316_01/cs/cs_doc_10/documentation/admin/workflow_guide_10gr3en.pdf#page=142. With this scenario it does not lose control over a document.

This is how I could do this at the Complutense University of MADRID.

I've not found anything OOTB that does what you want and - to be honest - I've never had to do.
I had to use an other Complutense University of MADRID in one of clients and projects of document caused a lot of damage - there is always someone who has "forgotten" to publish a final version or did not know what are the consequences of not publishing it. I think that it is better to put the document in a separate workflow was created - this is clearer for users.

Another idea how to do it is to simply create a separate drafts folder and allow the user to move a document when he has completed the work. The implementation of this idea depends on the species.

    Good luck!

  • How to use installation of Oracle MCS with MAF database offline

    Hi all

I want to integrate my mobile application with the installation of database offline for service mobile cloud and its policies, to store my data if my app doesn't have any internet connection, but whenever my mobile app gets the internet connection my data stored in the cache / offline automatically gets synchronized to the mobile cloud service.

Can someone give me the MAF MCS utility class to achieve it or any which sample or any video will be really appreciated.

    Thank you.

Hi, diattou, another alternative is to operate the accelerator of persistence A-team (AMPA) - latest version here: http://www.ateam-oracle.com/a-team-mobile-persistence-accelerator-release-12-1-3-2-now-available/.  You can consume any product Remaining in the MCS and let A-team Accelerator persistence generate all Classes Java necessary for you.

MAF 2.3 and 2.4 (coming in first part of 2016) will integrate these read offline connection and written in a declarative way.  In the meantime, however, AMPA is a good way as well.

  • How to create the custom filter "addFiles" in Oracle UCM?

    Hello

I need help on creating a filter custom in Oracle UCM in which I want to integrate a code custom until the file is checked in fact means of the Complutense University of MADRID, this custom piece of code should be called when the user clicks on the Check-In on a profile button to check-in a document and before the document is moved to the vault directory.

UCM Check-In forms-> Check-In button-> [custom]-> Document moved to the vault dorectory as a native file-> after release document copied Weblayout directory.

I came across a filter named 'addFiles' that can be used to achieve this goal, as stated in the link below:

    https://jonathanhult.com/blog/2012/09/favorite-WebCenter-content-filters/

I'm kind of new at the Complutense University of MADRID and don't know how to implement it as a custom component or a custom filter...

Could someone please help on how to start or steps that must be followed?

    Thank you and best regards,

    Sanket.

The file must first be uploaded to the server. Your Java code will not work unless the file exists on the server. You can then edit this file before the rest of the consignment does not happen.

  • Integrate form Oracle Application APEX 4.2

    Hi all!

(Apologies if I'm missing any information, this is my first post here )

I'm looking to integrate an Oracle form to an APEX application or be able to call an Oracle for an APEX Application form and open the form of the Oracle in a typical session of the EBS Java.

I've seen several posts on this exact requirement, but none of the information is very current. I saw real Blog: integrating Oracle Forms with APEX which uses APEX$ CALL_FORM but I was not able to find any documentation on how to use this feature.

I use version 12.1.3 EBS and on a Glassfish Server(I can update this to version 5 if it makes this easier)-4.2.0.00.27 APEX.

Any information you can provide that I would be grateful.

    Thank you!

APEX$ CALL_FORM isn't a documented Oracle procedure. You must build your own procedure CALL_FORM $ APEX.

Reference: Forms to include in the Apex and read the blog post carefully.

There is a lot of material on EBS and APEX integration.

  • Oracle UCM Plugin jQuery for AJAX and parameters

The ucmResponse object is a standard JSON data object, with the following convenience functions added:

    • getValue('value') look in the LocalData and result sets to get a response value.
    • getRow ('resultSetName', index As Integer) Gets the line in the specific set of results at the specified index in an associative array (hashtable) of pairs name / value.
    • findRowIndex ('resultSetName', 'column', 'value') returns the first index of the row in the result set when the column is equal to the specified value.

  • including the extension in jdeveloper with ADF Faces?

    Hello

We have an application with ADF Faces components that must be migrated to OracleAS weblogic 11 g Server (10.3.5).

We strive to upgrade the application under jdeveloper 11.1.1.5.0.  I have 3 questions.

    1. which the ADF jdeveloper extension should download us for this purpose?

We already seem to have the extensions 'Fusion Web Applications (ADF)' and ' Applications Java Desktop (ADF) "."

    2. during the upgrade, we were given an option to upgrade the ADF Faces in Trinidad, when this option has been chosen, we got a "unexpected mistake."

is it necessary to go to TRINIDAD to be able to deploy successfully on weblogic 10.3.5? If Yes, is the extension for Jdeveloper MAVEN?

    3. in weblogic server, I understand, we need the extension JRF to support the length of the ADF, is there anything else that we need on weblogic server that the adf works?

    Thank you in advance.

If the origins of your application of jdev 10g and runs on the OAS, you can migrate to Trinidad. No extension is required for this as the required libraries are already there. Maven is useless and will not work for 11.1.1.5.0. First version with the full support of MAVEN is 12 c.

If you get an unexpected error during the migration from the old app to 11 g, you should try to find out

    (1) projects that is causing the error

    (2) file that is causing the error

and work from there. There are some configurations that cannot be migrated (check the release notes), however they should not lead to unexpected errors. However, check the release notes.

If you don't find anything and cannot pass through the error, you must open a SR with support.oracle.com.

Next question is why migrate to 11.1.1.5.0 which is already obsolete.

    Timo
