Oracle UCM with Site Studio - friendly URLs

Hello

Sorry if this has been answered before...

Scenario:

Oracle UCM 11 g with a Public website created by the Studio Site. NO proxy http in front of this thing.

The 'real' URL to access a particular section...

http://www.Server.com/sitename/ThingsToDo/LibraryServices/index.htm

To reach desired URL in the same place...

http://www.Server.com/library/index.htm

Basically, I want to get rid of/SiteName/ThingsToDo/LibrararyServices and replace by only / library

I think I'd be able to do if the site was hosted behind IIS or was an Oracle HTTP Server infront. In its current form the site AAU runs in Weblogic 11 g. Is there a way to reach the actual URL rewritten using Weblogic or UCM?

Please let me know. Thank you!

JDM

It would be:

library/index.htm => ? IdcService = SS_GET_PAGE & nodeId = 12345

1235 designating the real nodeId of your node/section http://www.server.com/SiteName/ThingsToDo/LibraryServices/index.htm

Good luck and please award points as you wish.

  • Integrate workflows Oracle UCM with ADF

    Hello

I want to ask questions about how to integrate a workflow (criteria) on the University Complutense of Madrid with an application of ADF where I want to create a page of the ADF that contain all the document of the user in a specific stage of the workflow as an Inbox, and he can approve or reject the document from this page of the adf. Can anyone know how to do this?

    Thank you

It's not exactly an integration. You just need to call a service and view its result in ADF accordingly. A useful service can be GET_WORKFLOWS_FOR_ALL, the other GET_WORKFLOWDOCUMENTS.

  • Oracle UCM - working with forms

I have a question about the use of forms in Oracle UCM. I have a requirement to display a form on a Web site and the fields that the user fills out the form stored in Oracle UCM some how. I played with the form editor and I did a form. I see that I can map results in the content server metadata fields.

Is it possible to use this utility to create a file that is checked in the content server when the form is submitted. Is there a better way to do what I'm trying to accomplish.

    Heya DB
    Find the forms HCSF.
on submit, they create HCSP pages which are archived at the University Complutense of MADRID as successful content.

I have been meaning to post How do this thing accurate on my blog, but just not had the time to it still.

Are you familiar with creating components? If so, it is not too difficult. The main steps are:

1 Add this to your file under MergeRules

    [NomComposant] _PublishedStaticFiles
    PublishedStaticFiles
    class
    500

    2. create a resource table with the name in step #1 like this:
    <@table [componentname]_publishedstaticfiles@="">

    Studio Custom Site published files
    srcPathpathclassloadOrderdoPublishScriptcanDeleteDir
    publish/resourcesresourcesresources: [name of component]500<$doPublish =="" 1$="">0

    <@end@>

    3. create the following folder structure in your component:

[component dir] / [component name] /publish/resources/wcm/sitestudio/linkwizard

    4. place your files in this folder, your component package, install

5 Config Mgr-> Options-> publish the files of static layout

  • Can we use emulator ripple with visual studio?

    Hi friend

How can we use emulator ripple with visual studio?

    Thanks in advance,

    Faster

You can use ripple with Visual Studio...

What I do is to create a directory on my machine that has my application in it, then go into Visual Studio and select: «File-> Open-> Web Site...» »

Then I browse and select the directory where I created my app.  It will then open this directory as a Web site in Visual Studio.

When I want to run and debug my application, I press "start without debugging".  This will launch the ASP.NET development for the project server so that I can type in the URL.

I then open the URL in the ripple.  I can just edit the files in Visual Studio, then press refresh (F5) in waving to refresh the content of my application.

  • Deployment components Oracle UCM Custom avoiding the mistletoe

Dear all, we are trying to install Oracle UCM script such that we can avoid using the GUI. We got to the point where we must first decompress the zip common component in the directory of custom component but are struggling with the installation and allow the component via the script. A way for us to do but has been using the URL of the graphic interface, but the installation URL contains a few IDs which we do not know how they are generated. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Claire

I had trouble finding documentation as well. The ComponentTool is a very basic binary file which can do a few things:

    -Install UCM_HOME/bin/ComponentTool $
    -Enable-UCM_HOME/bin/ComponentTool $
    -Disable UCM_HOME/bin/ComponentTool $

But these are probably the exact things you want to script.

I've not tested this using the component of 10 g, but I think that the functionality is similar (if different).
You may need to ask consultant Oracle Sales/Pre-after-sales/technical friendly for 10 g component.

Your link points no documentation on the ComponentTool, but the WSLT scripting language (a very powerful script, but more for Automation/scripting language stuff WLS, not so much for the process of the University Complutense of MADRID).

  • Oracle UCM 10 gr 3 and webcenter 11g, WCM Portlets

    Hello
I installed Oracle UCM 10 gR 3, Site Studio 10 gR 4 and Webcenter 11 g. Now my problem is how to get WYSIWIG (WCM Portlet), created at the University Complutense of MADRID to be found in webcenter spaces.

I understand after reading a few articles, it's the only way I can communicate is through WSRP (CIS and CPS), if it's the case u can suggest what is the difference between them and the one that is best for an Intranet Application. Please also provide an example for the portlet and steps to install locally.

I don't want to give all the answers at once. Fair share little by little, even if you have some knowledge.

    Thank you
    Pradeep.

    I'm a Newbie!

    Hey Pradeep.

You have many options to extract the contents of UCM in addition to CIS and by extension CPS WebCenter. The best article on the subject can be found here (if you have not already read): http://blogs.oracle.com/fusionecm/2010/04/oracle_ucm_integration_with_we.html

To more directly answer your questions, the difference between CIS and CPS is that CIS is the lower level APIs making communication with the Complutense University of MADRID. It serializes your request across the and manages response data that comes packing back up as an easy-to-use objects. CPS relies on the CIS as its backend to allow portlets to communicate with the Complutense University of MADRID.

For an intranet application, you have many options. Records management, I would recommend a combination of the taskflow of document library with a couple of CPS portlets (my workflow tasks, etc.). To retrieve content to display as part of an intranet "site" I would exploit the content Presenter taskflow.

If the content to retrieve active 10gr 4 Site Studio I would recommend instead that you roll your own simple content portlets. This is what we ended up doing to Fishbowl and reused them to great effect implementation of several intranet portals for different customers in a very short time. • Content Presenter make several Site Studio contributor data files

    Hello

I followed the A-team solution http://www.ateam-oracle.com/content-presenter-cmis-complete/ to display the Site Studio contributor data file. But I made a few changes to try to make multiple files data instead.

    Hello

Using Portal Builder application or application framework webcenter?

Please describe your use case. In a team blog showing also several files of content data. Is only change suddenly showing the CMIS query to get the result set.

Please go under the model code content presenter mentioned in document webcenter to watch the content of multiple.

    http://docs.Oracle.com/CD/E21764_01/WebCenter.1111/e10148/jpsdg_content_presenter.htm#JPSDG7547

You mentioned page 2 hyperlinks to 2 data files.

What do you expect as a result?

When datasourceType = dsTypeMultiNode, datasource defined a set of identifiers separated by commas in the format document node:

    login #dDocName:content_id, connection_name #dDocName:content_id...

    Example: myconn #dDocName:DOCUMENT_ID_12345, myconn #dDocName:DOCUMENT_ID_56789

    Please check.

If you test it then use another datasourceType.

    for example

When datasourceType = dsTypeFolderContents, datasource set to a single folder in the form node identifier:

    login #dCollectionID:collection_id

    Example: myconnection.us.oracle.com #dCollectionID:45535

In my portal, I added a Presenter content workflow. On the content tab, I put DATA_ONE_ELEMENT (one piece of content). On the model tab, I chose my Presenter content model.

I had created a content model project Presenter DesignWebcenterSpaces (that I got from zip file - http://download.oracle.com/otndocs/tech/webcenter/files/DesignWebCenterSpaces_11.1.1.8.0.zip) here is the code:

Here's the code for the view model:

    < var dt:contentTemplateDef = "node" >

    < af:outputText value = "#{node.path}" id = "ot1" / > "

    < af:outputText value = "#{node.propertyMap ['RD_ONE_ELEMENT:TITLE'] .asTextHtml} '"

    ID = "ot2" / >

    < / dt:contentTemplateDef >

    < / jsp:root >

The output I see on the Web page is as follows:

    / EXTASC/DATA_ONE_ELEMENT. XML

I don't see any other texts. Which means, there is no output of:

    < af:outputText value = "#{node.propertyMap ['RD_ONE_ELEMENT:TITLE'] .asTextHtml} '"

    ID = "ot2" / >

Can someone help me in this? I would like to see the value of my Web page TITLE.

    Hello.

I am currently weapons... This is not normal, as is a common task.

Sorry, but we do a general audit of the configuration before enabling the TRACE log levels because it should be a simple thing missing.

Can you confirm that WebCenter content are activated as a result of components (UCM Console-> Administration-> server-> Component Manager Admin)? :

    - Studio site.

-Site of Studio for external Application.

    -WebCenterConfigure

    -LinkManager

    -DBSearchContainsOpSupport

In the case of be activated all (don't forget to restart UCM if you turn any component). Make sure that you have done as following steps:

    1. Log in to Content Server and open the Administration page.
    2. Select the Studio Site Administration, and then set the default Project Document information.
    3. Accept the default settings, and then click Update.
    4. Select the Studio Site Administration, and then to set Document information by default Active Web.
    5. Accept the default values and click Update

    Kind regards.

  • Editor of site Studio 11 g

    Hi all

I'm trying to publish a site Web Site Studio to 11 g. This service provider shared is something new in 11g and it's resemblance to the 10g SSPU... the tool seems to work but I read something in the documentation a bit intrigued me:

Be careful when adding URL to a URL of the page parameters. By default, in the Site of Studio editor, additional page settings that give rise to a variant of the dynamic page are not used when naming static page. Site Studio pages should not be customized by
adding URL parameters to a node reference, as all the parameters in the annex are ignored (in other words, no parameter of node not defined by using Site Studio do not nominate pages).

Means that parameters in the link cause with SSP to ignore these links and not get any content is? Can this be prevented somehow?

    Thank you
    Vlad

Have you tried to use the settings of cookies within wget authentication?

I did work with OAM before I'm sure you can make it work with 11g with some time.

Before you do the correct analysis, you get wget to request your login form page and pass the credentials and store the cookie on filesystem (ask on the - save-cookies wget directive).

Then you do your normal analysis, wget does site studio queries and you tell wget to use cookies you have stored (read up - load-cookies)

    has worked for me...

  • JDeveloper vs. Site Studio

    Hello

I installed all the software which I believe is necessary to create a Web site from scratch. I'm stuck trying to figure if I use JDeveloper or SiteStudio to create a simple homepage Hello world. The OUCM tab in WinXP is Site Studio. Off the WebLogic tab is Jdeveloper. Which is the correct workflow?

    Thank you
    Jim
P.S. links which show the correct workflow?

You can follow the manual, available at http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E17904_01/doc.1111/e13650/ssxa_creatingsites.htm#sthref327

(this shows how to create a simple homepage of JDev)

Take a look at this link if you find something useful for Site Studio: http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/middleware/content-management/tutorials-084061.html
(However, once you get the principles, you should be able to do it yourself)

I wonder why you post on forum WebCenter? Of course, even with WebCenter you can create a simple 'site' - check here http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E21764_01/webcenter.1111/e10273/toc.htm
