  could someone please help me understand how to configure integration broker between two peoplesoft applications and how it works?

  If you look at the peoplebooks bound Nicolas I think there it details well enough, but here are some things to consider in my experience and how I could explain it to someone... it's maybe not as technically correct as it should, but is more designed to help you understand the concepts.

  Think of remote nodes like "destination definitions."
  Think bridges as a "gateway to a destination.
  Think as the gateways connectors is the code for 'to connect to the destination.

  Then starting at the top...

Node B is a remote node. Without him, how else tell us the system where to send the message. It is remote, because it is an external system.

  Because the methods of connection or connectors are programmed at the level of the Bridge , we associate the node with a gateway and a Connector on the connectors of the node definition page tab. In peoplesoft for peoplesoft, we use the PSFTTARGET connector that can be defined on either a local or a remote Gateway.

  the best way for me to help you differentiate the gateways remote vs local is to think of bridges like this. A local gateway can be a bridge whose local node of this particular PeopleSoft system defined in him and whose configuration of the appropriate connectivity (he knows how to deliver incoming messages directly to our application server processes). A remote gateway is one that does not have the local node specified in its files gateway.properties and therefor can not connect to us directly. It may be behind a firewall to another place, but a local node of the destination set and is the local gateway for this destination system.

  On a side note, changing the type of Connector changes how we configure things.
  Connector PSFTTARGET to ensure that the node is referenced in the gateway.properties file.
  for a HTTPTARGET connector put us nothing in the file gateway.properties, instead, the connector on the node tab will allow us to specify a URL it is recorded in the database on the definition of the node.

  We have the remote nodes to define our destination point
  our node needs a gateway because it is where the connectors
  the connector is programming for managing this type of connection selected (you can write your own connector, there is a developer for him kit)
  and an entry door can be local or remote to a PeopleSoft system based on nodes who knows the bridge itself.

• Start several areas simultaneously 1 installation of Weblogic server?

  Is it acceptable to create and manage several areas simultaneously. Better yet, when several areas on 1 Server WLS, each area have another port number in order to be executed at the same time?
  
  Here is my scenario - I have installed Oracle Business Intellgence, which, by default, installs and configures the server WLS for some Business Intelligence applications (BI Publisher). This instance is running fine and good and always.
  
  Then I got another application, Oracle Data Integrator, that has a Console piece that requires a domain on WLS. So rather than change the existing for Oracle Business Intelligence domain, I created a new domain through the Configuration Wizard and selected these Oracle Data Integrator components.
  
  That is why the current areas:
  
  ...\domains\bifoundation_domain--> installed automatically as part of Oracle Business Intelligence
  ...\domains\odi11g--> I created this area after I
  
  Now I have 2 domains under 1 WLS Server (windows 7 64-bit), but if I startWeblogic.cmd for the bifoundation_domain and I startWeblogic.cmd for the odi11g... While the components for the bifoundation_domain will be available via the WLS Console.
  
  Issues related to the:
  -Can I simultaneously use two domains?
  -I changed the bifoundation_domain to include the Oracle Data Integrator components. so only with 1 domain, but have all run under this area?
  -Is the Port for each subject of the domain? field, the bifounddation_domain and the odi11g use ports 7001
  
  Are there other aspects? Thank you very much.

  For the side things WebLogic:
  -Yes, you can run two domains on one machine. You can run as many areas that the computer/server can handle.

  -The ports are important on what you use. Basically, the relaitonship is that you can have 1 WebLogic Server running on port 1. Otherwise, you'll have weblogic servers, prevent others from commissioning. So, you will need to make sure that all of your weblogic servers are configured on separate ports. 7001 is the default port WebLogic AdminServer. You can modify the ports that are used from the Administrator console or '% Domain_Home%/config/config.xml '.

• How to configure Integration Broker Quick Setup 'Domain' section?

  Hello. I just started to configure Integration Broker to use the Web Service. In PeopleTool-> Quick Integration Broker Configuration page, I type Gateway URL and ping Bridge, it runs successfully.
  
  But we have to type in the name of the computer in the section 'Domain', 'localhost' and the path to the Application Server. I click anywhere in this section but no place can be typed in values. Any folk that understand how to set "Integration Broker Configuration quick page Section area?

  If you publish/subscribe servers configured on your application server domain, then it automatically fills the field page. If you have 2 running of pub/sub domains you can choose that one activates and the other can be inactive.

  After your domain status and URL of gateway, u might want to goto advanced gateway properties page and write the name of your application server and the port of Jolt on which it will run. u need a PSIB (PeopleSoft Integration Broker) account with the password. It is also used on your local node authentication type.

  I have a very brief but complicated question. I am filling several areas with just a gradient in paint, so that they seem to overflow one. Is it possible? See the image below for what is happening now.

  

  I don't see why you should use Merge. It works without it for me.

  But you will have to click and drag with the gradient tool.

  We have volumes app setup within our environment. Within our environment, we have several areas Setup active directory. Is it possible to configure Manager Volumes App to see several areas active directory, or do we need to configure a volume of separate application for each domain manager?

  Volumes of App supports several areas approved under a single forest. Ideal configuration is to provide the Volumes App Manager with credentials for the forest root and it can then cross in the child domains as needed.

• How to create a site of muse in several languages with several areas

  I was asked to create a website for a product. A very simple site with maybe one or two pages and a product to sell for whom customer wishes as Paypal as payment gateway. Simple right?

  No! This customer wants to market its products in Europe, that they would like to buy several European areas (.fr, .de, for example).

  So how the hell can I do that? I use Muse to build and Business Catalyst for hosting.

  Bearing in mind that the customer won't pay separately hosted sites. Is it possible to translate the text for each area. Or could I assign several areas but lead to different homepages within the same site?

  I have no idea how to problem solve this.

• Several areas of research in the same Page of the OFA

  I'm new to OAF and while I practice the concepts, I have something in my mind on the creation of several search pages and tried to see how it behaves.

  I created a simple page with 2 regions serach (each from the different EO and VO). When I run the page and click on 'Go' on the first its got region performed on the two regions.

  I didn't write any code for it so far.  Strange thing is when I click on 'Clear' on the first region, that nothing is happening. But if I click on 'Clear' all values in the search field on the second region is eliminated from these two regions.  I know he is missing something, but don't know what it is. At this stage I cannot until the knowledge to build several areas of research.

  Can you please help me out here.

  When you have 2 pages of simple search, that's what I saw

  1 ' clear' on the first region button does not work.

  2. 'go' on the first region is performed on the two regions.

  3. "clear" on the second region performed on the two regions.

  Can you please help how to get to regions beyond?

  Can anyone provide an example of using TransformEx method in the XmlDoc class.

  I filled an XML file in a table. XML will normally contain multiple records.

  But my requirement is that I need to provide a SOAPDoc to the third party through the IB.

  XMLDoc, I can group each record with separate tags.

  When you use SOAPDoc, I can only use methods AddEnvelope(), AddBody (), AddMethod () and AddParm() - build each column in the table.

  With the help of SOAPDoc, I'm not able to aggregate each record like doc.

  TransformEx is the right approach for this problem?

  You don't need to explicitly create a soapdoc to send SOAP.

  Integration Broker will add the envelope of soap, the header and the body to xml files when sending, based on the property of connector SoapUpContent, which is defined by default on Y.

  You can use a primary domain for the site and use it for publication.

  Once the site published and pushed live, go to the domain settings and add other areas.

  Hope everyone had a nice weekend.

  I am currently setting up www.sunnyheat.fr for a customer and welcome us he www.sunnyheat.org.uk system because they are the same company, but require the multilingual Web sites. They wouldn't get off the google translate road having where he made good french.

  The site of France requires an error page 404 in French, but the default 404 error page is defined in the standard system page which is in English.

  My other question is, how did you put your file for several areas requiring a separate content and pages?

  At the moment I have a FR folder at the root, and all pages are configured in that, is it possible to have two separate folders?

  While creating a domain SOA, we create the SOAINFRA and other patterns. If we are to create several areas (in the same facility/machine) we need to create several PATTERNS? Or in other words a set of patterns is a domain. So if we create soa_domain_1 and soa_domain_2 then we create patterns SOAINFRA_1 and SOAINFRA_2 to soa_domain_1 and soa_domain_2 respectively.

  Hello Sanjay

  There must be one to one mapping between the schema and the domain created by RCU. A single schema must belong to one and only one domain.

  If you want to create two areas you will need to run twice the RCUS. If you create the same DB schema then the prefix must be different in the case otherwise you can create the schema with the same prefix (in different databases) for different areas.

  I'm trying to implement messaging between two systems HRMS 8.9 with the version of the tools for both being 8.48
  
  I have a service operation is trying to generate a message on a fieldchange event. Routing out this service received:
  
  the sender node: PSFT_LOCAL
  Receiver node: TARGETNODE
  
  the connector used for nodes that the above is PSFTTARGET (delivered connector)
  
  On the bridge, when I try to ping the nodes, PSFT_LOCAL ping is successful;
  
  However, by trying to ping TARGETNODE, it gives the following error:
  
  Service integration Broker: Destination node does not match the local node. (158 506) +
  
  This exact error is also received when I try to generate messages through the fieldchange peoplecode as well.

  It should at least contain your fixed IP address also localhost servername directive.

• Several areas of form with one button recording

  Is it possible to have several areas of form on a single page, with a single button that validates the changes made in all parts of the form save? If so, the forms must be manual forms?
  
  If this is not possible, or a bad way to go with APEX, what are my options?
  
  I try to avoid the user having to click through many screens to enter data. Logically each section should be in another table, but I would like to group some of the sections together to reduce the number of pages, users need to navigate to.
