Intel says performance I use DirectX 10, but my DxDiag says I'm under DirectX 11. Help, please.

When I go to my information on the performance and tools, it says that I use DirectX 10.

But it says on my dxdiag DirectX 11.

While one is? How should I do?

I know that my graphics card is compatible to DirectX 11 (AMD radeon HD 6950 2 GB) and therefore my system.

It is a common misconception that Win7 does mention DX11 only it only
a DX 11 but Win7 has three versions of Direct X - 9, 10, & 11.
In fact, the majority of files is still DX9-
However Win7 does not install with the latest DX files and can also be 'disappeared' a couple
older DX9 files.
For this reason, it is necessary to run Direct X Web Setup after installing Win7.

The software chooses which DX files must be used, not Windows, so a software that uses
DX10 will use one or more of these files. DX 11 is still relatively rare, even in video games.

What follows is a list of the Direct X .dll you when files are updated.
Go to Windows / System 32 folder (and SysWOW64 if you have 64-bit).
They are in alphabetical order and will start with d3dx9 - 24 43 >. Then d3dx10 - 33 43 > & finally d3dx11 - 42 43 >.
There was also - d3d9, d3d10 and d3d11 these come before the D3Dcompilers - 33 > 43.There are also three new XInput1 - 1 > 3.
There are more files DX, but these are most of the graphs related to Direct X .dll
