IntelliPoint 8.20.468.0 problem with the specific parameters of the program on Windows 8

I have a Microsoft Wireless Laser Mouse 7000 on Windows 8 Pro with Intellipoint 8.20.468.0 and the specific parameters of the program to set up the rear push button to a combination of keys ("for example, ' t '), for various programs.  If you leave the home page so that this 'Back' button (by default), this setting DOES NOT WORK.  The specific setting of the program is IGNORED.  If you set the homepage to anything else (for example, "previous window") then the program specific setting works.  It wasn't a problem on Windows 7 with 8.2 Intellipoint.

Any ideas.

Anyone know how to file a bug report - I couldn't see how to file a.

Have you tried to download Microsoft Mouse and keyboard Center?   Which has replaced the former IntelliPoint and IntelliType support tool.   In fact, I think it would be listed in Windows Update as optional updates.

    Original title: System Restore loops

Hi, I am trying to run restoring the system on my desk is a problem with the program in a loop.  He directs the system restore and then comes back just to start the system again Restore page.  How to solve this?  I started having problems when I have updated the BIOS on my motherboard.  When I installed the motherboard at the start, I think I used the incorrect installation disc (my son has same brand motherboard but the sound is more advanced).

Recovery of your computer (Windows) using "Recovery Partition" of the Manufacture or
contact PC manufacturing (see support links below) and order the recovery media.

Note: Activation is not required when you use the recovery partition or recovery media, but you will need to reinstall all your applications.

Also to save your documents on external support (if possible) before starting the recovery process.

Once completed, your PC will be actually in the State when you first purchased it and turned on for the 1st time.

To access the recovery Partition, start your computer, and then by pressing the appropriate function key. It can be either F1, F2, F9, F10, F11, F12, DEL or tab key. Check the list below or your user manual for your brand and model.

If your hard drive has failed, do not have a recovery partition or the recovery partition is not accessible,
Then, you must contact the manufacturer support team and ask for a "recovery disc" which allows to reinstall Windows 7.

  • problem with the installation of window package

Impossible to install, i-tunes, quick time and I downloaded Security software. Error message indicates a problem with the windows package install. On Vista, this is a fairly new problem
    Thanks in advance
    Jack

    Hi Jack8053,

Thank you for visiting Microsoft Answers.

    · The error message you get when you try to install a software, what exactly?

    · Remember to make changes on the computer before this problem?

It seems to be that some of the files windows install is corrupt. I have a few steps that might help you to solve the problem:

    Method 1

Make sure that the Windows Installer service is running.
1 open run and type services.msc, and then press ENTER.

    2. in the services window, locate the Windows Installer service in the services list.
    3. check that the status is "started". If the condition column is empty,
Right-click Windows Installer, and then select start.
    4. change the Startup Type to automatic (default is Manual), then
    Restart the computer.

    Method 2

Run a scan of the file system [SFC] checker on the computer that will replace missing or corrupt files.

To do this, follow the steps below:

    1. click on the Start button.

    2. on the Start Menu, click all programs followed by accessories.

    3. in the menu accessories, right-click on command line option.

    4. in the drop-down menu that appears, click the "Run as Administrator" option.

    5. If you have the User Account Control (UAC) enabled, you will be asked permission before the opening of the command line. You simply press the button continue if you are the administrator or insert password etc.

    6. in the command prompt window, type: sfc/scannow then press ENTER.

    7. a message is displayed indicating that "the system scan will start.

    8. be patient because the analysis may take some time.

    9. If all the files need replace SFC will replace them. You may be asked to insert your Vista DVD for this process to continue.

    10. If all goes although you should, after the analysis, see the following message "Windows resource protection not found any breach of integrity.

    11. once the scan is finished, close the command prompt window, restart the computer and check.

    2 restart the computer.

  • Problems with the programming phone...

In the car, I hate that he is no longer a separate volume for navigation. Then, you can no longer listen to music on your phone and hear the navigation instructions. It really bothers me. I don't understand why it never changed. My D1 he did not, my D2 didn't do it, but now my most recent phone and destroyed half of the axis of the car that my phone was once.

Now for a security problem that seems strange. When you're driving, you can use voice commands and voice to text for you avoid having to look away from the road. If you have a bluetooth headset (I currently have an elite motorcycle flip), you can just say voice commands in the helmet. I'll have to check the voice into text. But, connect it to a car game bluetooth that you must back up the phone on the platform to use because it does not use the microphone to call telephone bluetooth. I use the phone's microphone again, why?

Someone, something stupid like that, that was over looked in the programming?

I guess another one is when you use a headset for the phone to wake up always leaving me with a phone in my pocket. If I take a call, shortly after I Pocket dial someone or I have to take the phone out of my pocket and lock it. Kind of kills the idea of the heaset let me answer without stopping my work to do.

If something is off, sorry. It's 02:30.

Oh, and if it's a smart phone, why not all parameters will be saved in a folder on the SD card? So, you don't have to lose all the settings to get a new phone, the phone of the guarantee, when you perform a factory reset and never have to do a backup/save settings. CrApple made this patent too?

You can check the settings under your bluetooth devices, to see if the two phone and media profiles are enabled.

  • I now have a problem with the update for Windows Live Essentials 2011

I don't understand how it happened, but maybe someone could enlighten me?

First of all, I was informed of an update for Microsoft Security Essentials. So of course, I did the update because I didn't want to be protected.

I don't know if this is related somehow. I think that my update understood also as a Windows Live Essentials package. When I checked my e-mail and instant messaging, I noticed that the format has changed, and now, I think it's the new WLM 2011.

It may seem very nice and put up-to-date, but it caused a series of serious problems for me. Let me explain:

First of all, I must clarify that I am disabled and use the speech recognition, Windows speech recognition Dragon NaturallySpeaking both, because I can't use my hands.

In the original WLM before the update, if I were using Dragon NaturallySpeaking, I was able to dictate with great ease and had no problem. If I wanted to then send the email I would say just 'send' and e-mail would go. With WLM 2011, if I say that now, it does not work.

It's just a problem that I have. The next problem is much larger. In some cases, Dragon NaturallySpeaking speech recognition will not work and I can't dictate anything. I then have to close WLM completely and then open it again. Then only, it'll work. This happens many times and it's very frustrating, as you can imagine for someone like me.

Forgive me for saying, it may seem very well with all the new bells and whistles there, but it makes my life a misery at the moment. In my view, there are a lot of bugs that need to be sorted out first with her.

My question is, can I go back to the original WLM somehow until the update meets my needs? Can I go back to the status quo when WLM 2010 worked well with speech recognition for me?

If so, can someone tell me how to do what you please?

If not, then how am I supposed to use these features now?

    Thank you

    HB

  • I have problems with the installer of Windows and Windows Update, and the solutions that I found for the two each rely on the other broken system to fix the first.

I use a laptop HP Pavilion dv4-1220us with Windows Vista Home Premium Service Pack 1, a 64-bit operating system, and I have problems with Windows Update and Windows Installer. When I try to install programs, I get the following, or substantially similar message without the error code:

"Error 1719. The Windows Installer Service could not be accessed. This can occur if Windows Installer is not installed properly. Contact your support team. »

So I tried to download Windows Installer 4.5 and install it. When I try to start the installation, it always hangs on the first step, "Initializing Installation."

After searching for a solution to this problem, I found that Windows Update may have a solution. So I downloaded the 64 bit version and got a file named 'file Windows6. 0-KB942288-v2 - x 64. I tried to run this file. He opened a box that said, in order "Prepare for Installation", "Full Preparation", and finally "Searching for Updates ', before you open a second box, which reads" click OK to install the following Windows software update: fix for Windows (KB942288). I clicked on OK in this box, which opened another box, which says at the top "updates are installed" and in a smaller section, "initializing for Installation................... »

However, no matter how long it works, it never gets past "Setup initialization."... »

So I tried to run Windows Update in Control Panel. He ran for a while, before giving a message saying "to check the updates, you must first install an update for Windows Update." I clicked on the button that says "install now". He has flashed, a moment, "download and installation of updates' before you go to the"check for Updates"and then he brought back the exact same upward ' to check updates, you must first install an update for Windows Update" message as before. I clicked install now once again, only to go into the exact same loop. After about four times in a loop, I gave up on it.

So I tried to install Windows Installer 3.1v2, which took a while before saying "not enough memory is available to process this command." and the abandonment of the installation.

So, I tried to download a program from 'Mr. Fix - it' of Microsoft. It downloaded fine and then failed on installation, because of the same Setup error I received initially.

Finally, I tried to restart my computer and each solution is represented. Then I clean my computer and each solution is represented.

In conclusion, the mistakes that I have in Windows Update and Windows Installer cordoned off each other, as the mistakes of each program are based on the other program to be repaired. I'm at my wit's end here. My computer works fine without one, except that I can't install new programs. I can access the internet fine, access files fine, all my scans have developed own... I don't really know what is happening. Can someone help me with this?

If restore work not and you do not have a Vista DVD from Microsoft, do a repair disc to do a Startup Repair:

Download the ISO on the link provided and make a record of repair time it starts.

Go to your Bios/Setup, or the Boot Menu at startup and change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order, then reboot with the disk in the drive.

At the startup/power on you should see at the bottom of the screen either F2 or DELETE, go to Setup/Bios or F12 for the Boot Menu.

When you have changed that, insert the Bootable disk you did in the drive and reboot.

  • I have a problem with the startup in windows xp

OK, this is how it goes end-to-end.

My brother is still using xp and one day, as his computer just took a dump...
It starts, runs through the bios screen, then head to the start screen. As soon as there is almost no loading, a screen very very very very rapid rises. then it restarts... Well, the error, I discovered, was the unmountable boot volume error. Although it doesn't have the recovery disk for his computer... Is there a way can I fix?

By the way I can't boot in any mode without failure or other way. I can't even a prompt back. I tried to use ubuntu, but I'm stumped on this review that I don't use on a daily basis, is close to 100%.

FOR any help would be greatly appreciated.

It's a shame that forums MS Answers do not ask for any information system when a new question is asked, because it knows absolutely nothing about your system (except it does not start).

Not knowing the basic information a problem prolongs the frustration and the agony of these issues.

For this error, I would like to start here:

Use the XP Recovery Console to check the file system on your HARD drive and fix the problems and then try to start your system - this may be all you need to do.  Or, you are welcome to just start trying things that might work.

Boot into the Recovery Console Windows using an XP bootable installation CD.

If you have no XP bootable media (or aren't sure you have) create a bootable XP Recovery CD of Console and don't forget (no support for XP not necessary).

This is not the same as recovery disks that might have come with the acquisition of the system store.

You can make a bootable Recovery Console CD by downloading an ISO file and burn it to a CD.

The ISO bootable image file you need to download is called:

    xp_rec_con. ISO

    Download the ISO from here:

    http://www.mediafire.com/?ueyyzfymmig

Use a new CD and this simple and free program to burn your ISO file and create your bootable CD:

    http://www.ImgBurn.com/

When you install ImgBurn, DO NOT install the Ask toolbar.

Here are some instructions for ImgBurn:

    http://Forum.ImgBurn.com/index.php?showtopic=61

It would be a good idea to test your bootable CD on a computer running.

You may need to adjust the computer BIOS settings to use the CD-ROM drive as the first device to boot instead of the hard drive.  These adjustments are made before Windows tries to load.  If you miss it, you will need to restart the system again.

When you start on the CD, follow the instructions:

Press any key to boot from CD...

    Installing Windows... going to pronounce.

Press 'R' to enter the Recovery Console.

Select the installation that you want to access (usually 1: C:\WINDOWS)

You may be asked to enter the password (usually empty).

You should be in the folder C:\WINDOWS.  It's the same as the

C:\Windows folder that you see in Solution Explorer.

The Recovery Console allows base as file commands: copy, rename, replace, delete, chkdsk, fixboot, fixmbr, cd, etc.

For a list of the commands in the Recovery Console, type help at the prompt of commands or read on here XP Recovery Console:

    http://www.Microsoft.com/resources/documentation/Windows/XP/all/proddocs/en-us/recovery_console_cmds.mspx?mfr=true

A good idea before you start things must first verify the integrity of your file system by using the chkdsk command.

In the command prompt window, run the chkdsk command on the drive where Windows is installed to try to fix any problems on the afflicted player.

Running chkdsk is fine, even if he finds no problem.  It won't hurt anything to run it.

Assuming your boot drive is C, run the following command:

    CHKDSK C: /r

Let chkdsk finish to correct the problems, he could find.

It may take a long time for chkdsk complete or they seem to be "stuck".  Be patient.  If the HARD drive led blinks always, chkdsk is something.  Keep an eye on the amount of the percentage to be sure that it is still making progress.  It may even seem to go back sometime.

You must run chkdsk/r again until it finds no error to correct.

Remove the CD, and then type "exit" to exit the RC and restart the computer.

You have not to set the BIOS to boot the disk HARD since the CD won't be.

  • problem with the program downloaded to dvd on computer camera

I recently got a new digital camera and I am trying to download the program from cd/dvd on computer.  When the disc is inserted, it does nothing.  In the manual it states that it is compatible with vista.  I don't know why this is happening.

Try to go to start / computer and right-click on the CD-ROM drive and click on explore.  Find a program called setup.exe or install.exe and double click it to start the installation.

    I hope this helps.

    Good luck!

  • Problems with the 'Association' in Windows 7 64 bit file

Even if I am able to go through the 'normal' process to associate a program with an extension, it does not work.  After having completed steps browse and selecting the program it brings back me to the "Open with" window  The program I selected does not appear in the "Open with" window and it seems that he ignores me everything simply.

I also tried the 'Default programs' route but wind upwards in the same window 'Open with' which ignores me.

    Suggestions?

    -----------------------
    [EDIT]
    (1) I realized that this probably isn't a forum appropriate for this question so feel free to ignore!
    (2) I also realized that this may be a problem with associating extensions with non-64-bit programs and seems to be a non-issue if trying to associate with a 64-bit program... go figure.

After playing a lil, I think that I figured it... [for me at least...]

The program you are pointing to is not saved correctly.
In regedit: go to Computer\HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Applications and find your .exe name.
Sail under its name of shell > open > order. In the default change its location to the actual location of the executable file, press OK and then try and reassociate the file type as you normally would.
Let me know if this doesn't seem to work.
  • Problems with the upgrade to Windows Windows 7 10 and get the message 'could not be updated. "portable

    Original title: Windows 7

    I have 2 questions-

I have a laptop Windows 7 when I tried to update Windows 10 received a message that it could not be updated.  Has there never been a solution or an update for those of us who have a version of Windows 7 which initially could not updated for Windows 10?

I have a computer I upgraded Windows 10 and really like it.  I do not understand that I can not make a copy of 10 Windows on a computer, I've updated for Windows 10.  Is it possible for me to download a copy of Windows 10 on my laptop Windows 7 to make a restore CD in the case of a computer problem?

You can try the upgrade manually:

    Task of pre-required

When you make significant changes to your computer for example updated operating system, you must always back up. See the links to resources on the backup by clicking the link for each version of Windows you are using: Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8/8.1

    then

    then

    • Turn off (preferably uninstall) your Antivirus utility before you perform the upgrade.
    • Reboot several times, and then try again.
    • Disable the general USB peripherals (for example - smart card reader).
    • If you are using a SCSI drive, make sure you have the drivers available for your storage on a thumdrive device and it is connected. During the installation of Windows 10, click on the advanced custom Option and use the command load driver to load the driver for the SCSI drive. If this does not work and the installer still fails, consider switching to an IDE based hard drive.
    • Perform a clean boot, restart, and then try again.
    • If you upgrade to the. ISO file, disconnect from the Internet during the installation, if you are connected in LAN (Ethernet) or wireless, disable both, then try to install.
    • If you are updated through Windows Update, when download reaches 100% disconnect from the LAN (Ethernet) Internet or Wi - Fi, then proceed with the installation.
    • If this does not work, try using the. ISO file to upgrade if possible.
    • If you are connected to a domain, go to a local account.
    • If you have an external equipment, attached to the machine, unplug them (example, game controllers, USB sticks, external hard drive, printers, peripherals not essential).

You also have the possibility to choose 'Keep personal files only', which guarantees a successful in most cases installation.

  • Problems with the installation of Windows 7 Home Premium: ask load the driver during installation

I am currently using Windows XP Professional Version 2002 SP3 with specification of my computer as below:

    Intel Pentium D 3.40 GHz 3.39 GHz

    3.5 GB RAM

    I tried to upgrade to Windows 7 by restarting my computer and boot from the CD. Setup goes as usual, initially, he asked for the language installation during installation, and after I clicked OK, the window titled "Load driver" had appeared with his message as below;

"To install the device driver required to access your hard drive, insert the installation media containing the driver files and then click OK."

What are the problems really? Because I think I have all the necessary drivers and before that everything works fine. Where can I get the drivers? And how to solve this?

    Help, please. Thank you. :)
