  Hello, I can't understand how to set acrobat to save a file so that when the recipient opens the bookmarks/thumbnails pane is closed. And make of this my fault so I don't have to edit every single PDF file I have that create/save. Can someone help me please?

  1. Once you have created your PDF file in InDesign, Word, QuarkXPress or other, open it in Adobe Acrobat Standard or professional (you cannot use the Player Adobe free to follow the steps below).

  2. choose file > properties

  3. in the properties of the Document dialog box, click the initial view tab at the top. Then, set the layout and magnification options as you wish. Note that you can specify where to open the Navigation to the left of the screen panels, layout, magnification, what page the PDF file opens to, if you want that the Acrobat window resize to the size of the page, if the window should be centered on the screen and whether or not you want the document opens in the mode full-screen (useful for presentations).

  

  4. click on the OK button. No magnification and page layout of the document will not change at this stage.

  5. save the PDF file, close it, and reopen it. It should reopen with the options that you specified in step three. These options override all settings specified by the user in the preferences.

• Why cannot define the initial view in the preferences instead of on a document by document basis?

  You can set the initial view to the level of the document in document properties to display the Panel, bookmarks and Page and this is the view you will receive the next time the document is opened.

  There must be a way to use a plugin or something that will open all documents using this initial point of view, rather than having to set it each time.

  Hello

  The "Document Properties" window is set to make changes to a particular document. In order to define common settings for all the PDF files, please make changes in the option 'Page view ':

  For MAC: File > Preferences > Page display

  For Windows: Edit > Preferences > Page display

  Another point that you can make use of is: every time you close any PDF, Acrobat saves the last settings of the display and tries to open the PDF in the same point of view because it was closed.

  Please tell me if you are able to access 'initial view' tab in the properties of the document using Acrobat.

  You can change the initial view settings in Acrobat and you can view a PDF in Reader with the same initial point of view as established.

  I have the evidence most of my design projects using Adobe Acrobat Pro CC. Unfortunately, many of my clients don't are not computer savvy. For this reason, I would like more control over the initial view of my evidence of Acrobat. For example, I just opened Notepad design proof that I have created using one of the presets in Acrobat to InDesign. Acrobat Pro open CC proof at 300% with "Enable scrollbar" selected. Thus, the initial view (or presentation) of my design was not very good.

  Is there anyway that I can control the initial view of my client in Acrobat Pro?

• How to set the visibility of the layer on the initial view?

  I created some shapes that have multiple layers in them. They are several pages long. Page 1 there are 3 radio shows buttons... it selects the appropriate user type and begins running the correct layer and turns off the other layers. Unfortunately, if they go to page 2, before clicking on one of the butttons, they see all layers at once, and it's a confused mess.

  Is there a way to set the default layer visibility so that when you open the PDF file, it only shows the layer I want it? I don't find it in the initial view settings.

  No, it is defined by the user in the Acrobat preferences or by setting the initial view in Acrobat, but not to HAVE.

  I hope I am in the right forum now.  I have Adobe 8 Professional.  Can someone help me please find a way to put my list of comments to be open to the initial view.  It is not an option in the Navigation tab.  I'll send this document with the comments of other people and I want the list of comments to be open when viewing the document.

  I've already put the document 'Restore last view', but that only works for me not to the people sending it.

  I asked this question before, and all I got is 'Go back to reading beginner books', so I hope that someone here is willing to actually answer my question rather than brushing because they were unwilling to help...
  And Yes, I have read books on the topic and been through tons of documentation and not found the answer to this. I have 1 ActionScript and JavaScript experience, so this whole thing shouldn't be this hard.
  
  I am using ActionScript 3 in Flash CS3.
  
  My problem is the following:
  
  I need to know how to send commands between the stuff on the stage and stuff which is defined in a class.
  I had this problem for centuries and kept trying to find ways around it since so far I couldn't find help for her.
  
  For example:
  When you use a document class, how can I get the number of the current frame of the stage?
  Or using a class of documents, how can I access any object (such as a MovieClip with instance name) who has been on the scene with the IDE?
  
  Currently, to be more precise, I'm doing something really simple:
  Make a button work on my scene, which is not always visible. With AS3, which is not as easy more than before.
  So what I have now, is to create the button in the document class, used addChild and set it to alpha = 0.
  
  Now, when the stage reached specific images (i.e. those with labels, and I got this part understood), it is supposed to make the button visible. Then I can add stuff and event listeners, and I can understand this part myself.

  Well, first of all, I must say that AS3 is fundamentally designed to be difficult on purpose, this interaction between the objects is intentionally very strict. For this reason, I always use AS2 to all my basic work of Flash. AS3 is just much more involved, much tighter, much less forgiving... it takes a lot of experience with it before it begins to make sense.

  Now, I think I might have a few answers to your questions:
  Any DisplayObject instance (this includes any class of Document, which must extend MovieClip or Sprite instances) you can access the scene using the "stage" property

  However, stadium is probably not exactly what you want, you want the main timeline, which is a child of the stage. To access the main timeline, you can use the 'root' of any DisplayObject property.

  However, unless you have the strict mode off, Flash will let you just say 'root.myMovieClip' because the root property is of type DisplayObject, that is not a dynamic class (which means that you cannot add properties to it) and it has not built in the "myMovieClip" property, so he thinks you did a mistake. You have to "climb" the root as a MovieClip property, which * is * dynamics so it will allow you to try anything on this subject of reference (like AS1/2 does with everything.)

  So what this means is it should work from the inside, document you class:

  .myMovieClip (root as MovieClip)
  or
  MovieClip (root) .myMovieClip

  Either successfully make reference to a MovieClip you set on the main stage in the IDE and named 'myMovieClip '.

  Rather than set the alpha to 0, try the visible parameter to false. I think that this will disable all interactive events, where simply setting alpha to 0 it would still be interactive.

• Well, it's embarrassing, but bookmarks open in the initial view.

  I've got Acrobat Pro Extended 9.4.5, on 64-bit Windows 7, with Tech Comm Suite (FM, PS) 2.

  I know the drill:

  Drop-down file menu > properties > initial view > Navigation > bookmarks and Page Panel

  But it does not work. Bookmarks are there, but only weakly. Appears a bit lame pop-up window

  After that you select view > Navigation panels > bookmarks.

  At the top of my left hand panel, the 'Pages' and 'Signature' icons are displayed by default, but I'm

  used for bookmarks open actually left when I save a file in this way.

  I can't say for sure, but it seems to me that the Bookmarks panel got not rooted in the navigation pane and is now a floating window. To put the navigation pane again. Click on the word "Bookmarks" tab (as opposed to the bar at the top of the window) and drag it to the navigation pane, where it should appear then as usual.   I read the book Expert Oracle practices on issues of lock contention. While I was reading this chapter. I'm little bit confused the bahavior of the buffer cache when physical i/o occurs. According to Tom Kyte, when data blocks are read on disk (if missed cache) the following steps occurred. Ask Tom & amp; quot; How to work the Database Buffer Cache? & amp; quot;

  (a) access to the buffer cache and search for block

  (b) if the block isn't here, perform physical i/o and put it in the cache

  (c) return the block of memory cache

  However, I wonder what stage b has occurred which means put the data block in the buffer cache. For this, the data block is added to the associated buffer cache hash buckets?

  As far as I know, in order to cache data hit intended address of applicable block in buffer cache hash bucket. The hash function is generated during this data block address. (if acquired the lock of the child) And then find the address of the data block in the cache buffer chain to locate the block of buffer in the buffer cache.

  My second question is what stage an occur (go to the buffer cache and search block) how to block oracle look? I mean where did he look like? My third question relates to my second question, Oracle if discovered that the block in the buffer cache, does know where to find them? I guess that Oracle does not know where to locate it in the buffer cache. Therefore, it uses cache buffer hash buckets. I'm wrong?

  Last question is, I'm just trying to understand how buffer cache buffers are linked, buffer cache buffer hash, how it works?

• Problem of color correction between the initial and the multicam sequence... Help, please

  I used three cameras to record a youth dance recital.  I created a sequence of orginal for three camcorders and another sequence using multicam editing dances.  After I finished editing, I went back to the original sequence to do some color correction and adjustment of brightness using the Quick Color Correction controls.  After that, I just sent in again to create a DVD.  When I watched the DVD, I noticed some of my settings were always off, the color correction so I went back to the original sequence to make some changes.  Unfortunately, the multicam sequence would not read the new settings.  After a few unsuccessful attempts to get the element from the sequence multicam to read the original sequence clip, I decided to start by disabling fast Correction of the colors of the clip commands.  The adjusted multicam sequence then return corresponding to the original sequence.  However, when I started a new control for fast Correction of the color in the original sequence, the sequence multicam wouldn't take the new settings.  How to get the sequence mulitcam read the orginal sequence?

  Look for the error of the operator on this one.  Check that you are working in the source used for the multicam sequence.  You can do this by going to the multicam sequence and pressing SHIFT + T.  This will open the original with the ITC on the same chassis.
