  I think maybe it's a coincidence, that nothing is installed with ExportPDF, so nothing should have changed your web browser. That said, you can clear the cache of the browser and then re-open your browser. (What browser do you use?)

  You can also try to restart your computer, if the browser is restarted does not solve the problem. But still, I don't think that this problem is related to the ExportPDF.

  Returns:

  They work very well:

  Get-file-name "vm".

  Get-file-name "of home.

  Get-file-name 'datastore '.

  Basically, I am trying to create a place of reference to use in a cmdlet New-folder to create a folder in the area of networking (and then eventually move networks to this new folder).

  I'm afraid that the current to PowerCLI version does not support the network folder.

  As a temporary diversion, you could do something like that

  $NetFolder = Get-View (Get-Datacenter -Name "Genesis Data Center").Extensiondata.NetworkFolder

  The example above shows just the name but you have access to all the properties in the managed folder object.

  You do the following:

  1. click on start.
  2. type: secpol.msc and press ENTER.
  3. go to local security policies / adjustment / security options.
  4. on the right side to find Interactive logon: do not display last user name and change to turn it OFF.

  I try to use FTP Get File to get a picture of my NI1772C smart camera, but I can't make it work. I think the problem is that I don't really understand what I should put in the local path and the remote path box. The image is saved in the root (c:\) directory and the image name is Arcing.bmp and I'm trying to save it on my PC to the C:\FTP folder part of dev. So, can someone tell me EXACTLY what I should put in the remote path and boxes of local path? I tried 1 trillion combinations and nothing works.

  Most likely it's not Windows, so don't expect C:\arcimg.bmp to work! FTP works normally with the railways of Unix file with a common root of / and it is very unlikely that the camera would be empty all images in the root directory. So, you will find the structure of files from your camera and ask a path that exists.

  FTP is also the LS command that lists the contents of a directory. And PWD to return the current working directory. Use CD to go to the next level! With these three you should be able to determine what is the structure of directory on your camera.

  Is what I'm trying even possible using get-file?

  The documentation seems said that only one name is allowed and not a full path to this name.

  If get-file cannot do what I need, has someone already written a script for this function?

  In my research I found the Get-FolderPath of LucD function.

  Tried a few searches in the community, but impossible to find exactly what I was looking for.  We have a configuration folder structure in vCenter.  We have some companies that we bought over time and we set up a folder, separate them with a top-level folder and folders nested for different types of virtual machine below, something like:

  CompanyX

  -Mail servers

  -Web servers

  -DB servers

  For the purposes of internal billing, asked me to get a count of all virtual machines for each company.  I can get the count for virtual machines directly in the "CompanyX" folder, but it does not include virtual machines in subfolders.  This is the script I used so far:

  Write-Output "VM enumeration for CompanyX VMware environment Total: $((Get-dossier 'CompanyX' |)). "(Get-VM) .count) | out-file "D:\ScriptResults\CompanyX.txt" - append

  As I said, that works very well for the virtual machines in the head in the parent folder, but it does not go down to the next layer.  Is there a way to get folder do that?

  I don't know if it was different in previous versions, but in the latest PowerCLI version 4.1 U1 if you

  Get-file "CompanyX" | Get - VM

  It will retrieve the VM in the top folder and all subfolders. You can easily check this with:

  Get-file "CompanyX" | Get - VM | Select-Object - Property Name, folder

  If you only want the virtual machine in the top folder you can use:

  Get-file "CompanyX" - NoRecursion. Get - VM

  The following script will get the VM number for all companies and write the result to a .csv file.

  $ExcludeFolders = "Discovered virtual machine","other folder to exclude"

  If there is high records of the page you want to exclude from the list you can add them to the $ExcludeFolders variable in the first line of the script. The second line of the script gets all the 'vm' top of the folders page. The third line filter unwanted records. A few lines create the output objects. And the last line written objects in a .csv file.

  I added the Measure-Object cmdlet for the ($Folder |) Get - VM | Measure - Object). Account because otherwise you will get an error if the number is 0 or 1.

  These are probably only difficult for me because I'm not familiar with powershell (yet). But here we are two issues here:

  (1) if I run 'Get-file 'IT' ' I get two files returned that store data from view and that of the VMs & view models. How to limit this to just as the display of the model?

  This also applies to certain folders in the same point of view; Assessment.1/Archives & Depart2 / Archive. If I want to create a virtual machine from the CLI how to know it one to use?

  2) $vm = Get - VM 'X' refers to the virtual machine (shocking I know) now I want properties to be returned (VM Attrributes) this dosnt see the attributes that I want to access however ' $vm = Get - VM "X" | Get-View ', then' $vm2. AvailableField' kind of did, I want only one of the fields under AvailableField not all to be listed.

  This property of CustomFields is a 'ReadOnlyDictionary' object, which consists of key/value pairs.  So, you can return the values by accessing the desired key.

  In your example, "Date of creation", "Retirement Date", "Department", and "Status" are the key.  To get the value desired here, access the key of "Ministry" as such:
