  You can't tunnel PCOIP via a security server so probably you cannot tunnel through a normal connection either broker.    I've never tried, but since we use all direct connect inside our LAN.

  I should probably know this, but the customer is concerned about a security problem.  I do not think that

  that is a problem, but its best to ask and be sure.

  In my flex client, I got a dialog box where a user can enter a password.  I then take the password

  and send it to my supplier of the property.  This normal text password, I don't do anything to encode it before sending

  It's on.  Is this ok? I think that the connection is secure, but please confirm this, or should I encode them before you send it?

  Yes, the data Manager API using secure AMF channel.  Even if your plugin called java service, you must use "/.../messagebroker/amfsecure" for the channel of proxy URI as shown in the SDK examples.

  I am trying to create a system customized for VeriStand. The custom device must have a few settings that are configurable in the Explorer system solutions and are used in its VI in real-time. How can I save the parameter values so that they are retained in the next time I open the definition of system file? Is the only way to do by combining each of these parameters to a channel in the custom device and using the custom peripheral Channel Set default value VI?

  You can use strings for the values of these parameters and default values as you described. Only, I would create channels if you expect to need to change the parameter at run time values by defining it from the workspace or a profile of stimulus.

  If the parameters are static (for a start at least), then I would just set them as a property on one of the nodes in the device customized using the NI VeriStand - Set point property VI. You can create as many named properties. Properties can be any value you choose, such as double, double table, etc., boolean, string. You can set these system explore and they will be saved in the definition of system and available on the target of RT using the NI VeriStand - point Get property VI. You can read them only in the engine, not write down them, but there is usually a lot more low overhead to have properties of programs.

• (Redirected) Disappointed by the customer service

  I bought a laptop computer XPS 15 in the second week of November. I ran into some technical issues with the laptop, so I started the laptop for a full refund back on 24 November. The sales department guy said I should get the return of 15 working days or 31 days. It has been more than 31 days and I don't have my money. I spoke with five representatives since I asked back. Whenever I had to hold for an hour in the queue and I don't have a straight answer from any of them. The last time when I tried to reach the Department of sales, they was just put on hold and simply disconnected the call after a few minutes. they did not give a call back. Here is the list of people I talked to (these are the only people registered in the State of the application)

  You seem to have two problems here and are confusing them.  You must break the problem into two parts

  (1) extract the data from the entry and create the objects you want to display

  2) display in a list, a set of objects.

  Let's get the sorted first premiera.

  I will suggest what to do here, but in practice, you might actually think about this yourself as part of the design phase of your application.  You should do this, not me, because then you will have all the information available.  At the present time, I have just what you said, which is not much.  So maybe what I'm telling you is not correct for your application.  Only you can decide that.  And be blunt here, you should have decided this before you start coding.  Do you want you could lead down the wrong path.  You must think of your application as a home - as the architect must design all the rooms, and how they will be built, before you start building the House.  You do not, then we are building the rooms on the fly.  Who knows if they will be fit at home?

  In this case, I think you need to create an object that represents each of the elements in the internal array of new data.  call this object

  NewsItem

  This object will have attributes, such as its title, content, date, the linked image and so on, each of whom have will get and set methods.  While you treat each inner element fetch you the associated entry and update the object.

  When you have finished the inner loop of processing, you now have a complete

  NewsItem

  Object, so you will add it to a collection, an array of NewsItem objects, call this _newsItems.  You will create it at the beginning - you know how many entries it takes because it is the number of entries in your outdoor table.

  So before you start to deal with JSON, create your table and the 'index' value of 0.

  Once you have created your Newsitem, add this in the table to the position 'index' and increment "index".

  And once you have analyzed all the JSON, you will have a complete picture.  This is part 1 finished!

  And note in your drawListRow, you are given a clue - that is the index in your tables in _newsItems.  So you can easily find which entry to view and display it correctly.  But it is part 2 and is a separate issue.

  I have problems with the closing of a machine. When the machine is connected to the corporate network, everything works fine. However, if the computer is connected to the VPN (1 hour or more) it is always suspended when it stops. First step in the shutdown process is:

  Please wait for the system event Notification service.

  This change after 3 minutes exactly. Next step:

  Please wait for Group Policy client windows 7

  is never exceeded (even after a few hours). Machine never off.

  Under newspapers there are always these 4 events when the machine stops in vain:

  1. 6005: the winlogon notification subscriber takes a long time to handle the notification event (Logoff).
  2. 4627: the event COM + a system expired attempt to fire the method of logging on the event {D5978650-5B9F-11D1-8DD2-00AA004ABD5E} class for the Publisher and the Subscriber.  The Subscriber has not responded within 180 seconds. The full name of the subscription is "ISensLogon2". The HRESULT is 80010002
  3. 6006: the winlogon notification subscriber took 180 second (s) to handle the notification event (Logoff).
  4. 6005: the winlogon notification subscriber takes a long time to handle the notification event (Logoff).

  Sense has expired after 3 minutes while there is no event 6006 for GPClient and machine is stuck there for centuries (Please wait for the customer to group policy). I noticed in the system logs that before the machine hangs during the shutdown process there are these errors and warnings:

  • 5783: the session configuration for the Windows NT or Windows 2000 Domain Controller \\server for the domain X is not admissible.  The current CPP of Netlogon call on \\machine to \\server was canceled.
  • 1014: name resolution for the name of the server has expired after none of the configured DNS servers answered.
  • 131: NtpClient could not set a domain peer to use as a source of time due to the DNS resolution error on ". NtpClient will try again in 3473457 minutes and double the reattempt interval thereafter. The error was: the requested name is valid, but no data of the requested type was found. (0x80072AFC).

  There is more than 1014 events for different servers and some 131. 5783 is always alone.

  I did a group policy log, because I thought that I will be able to see where the machine stuck. Below you can see the part of the newspaper GPSVC when the machine stops in vain:

  I excluded 1 GP machine and left on the VPN for a few hours, several times. He always stopped correctly.

  However I tried with the VPN disconnection before turning off the machine, I even turned off WiFi but machine still hanging. If I tried to get GP results it takes ages before stopping the machine and he's stuck in the step "to get the user name. Gpupdate/force will never update policy (it stops at policy update...). I tired with the installation of different patches that has not solved the problem.

  I think that there is that DNS issues while the machine is on VPN which led the GP cannot be applied. When the machine tries to close it is always somehow connected. There is no problem with the connection, no GP application script when the user disconnects, not roaming profiles.

  Does anyone have the same problems? All machines are Dell with Juniper NC (VPN).

• Two sliders in the custom field definition

  First of all, I want to thank all those who helped me to this day. This forum has been essential for blackberry dev work I do, and I would be screwed without you guys. That being said, I'm having a problem. I install a custom like this text entry field.

  (1) creates a vertical field Manager, assigned a background and resized image with setExtent(). (works fine)

  (2) created a new type of field and inserted in the vertical field Manager to make native look (almost works)

  The problem I have is that two sliders are appearing. Cursor #2 is dynamically updated as it should be, but the #1 cursor seems to be a "flawed slider. Please see the image below for details.

  

  The custom field is defined using the following code. If I remove the custom field, or cursors comes, so I am positive that it is the source of the problem.

  I came up with an alternative solution. It turns out that I can use a transparent border to set the offsets to where the edit field must be located within the input Manager; thus eliminating the need to use setPosition.

  I have a created WLAN using the dot1x authentication. The WLAN points at ISE for RADIUS AAA. I can't get any windows computer connect (7, 8 or 8.1 tested), but android, ios, and osx are all able to connect. I have a 3rd cert of party (GoDaddy) installed in my local store at ISE, which is valid and not expired. I do not understand why windows machines fail.

  I'm migrating to this new ISE server and my old ISE server has the same configuration (AFAIK) for this WLAN key and it works for all devices, including windows. The difference is that it is on a different domain (the reason for migration is we've changed areas).

  Here the ISE error:

  Event: 5400 authentication failed

  Reason for the failure: 12511 suddenly received alert TLS; treat it as a rejection by the customer

  Resolution: Ensure that the ISE server certificate is approved by the customer, by configuring the supplicant with the CA that signed the certificate of ISE server. It is strongly recommended that you not turn off the server on the client certificate validation!

  Root cause: while trying to negotiate a TLS negotiation with the customer, ISE has received an unexpected alert message of TLS. This could be due to begging her not to trust the certificate of the ISE server for some reason any. ISE has processed the unexpected message as a sign that the client has rejected the creation of tunnel.

  On the ISE server that works, you are presented with a window asking you to connect or terminate based on the certificate is not validated. I don't know why that is not happening with this new ISE server, it fails just without inviting the user to connect or terminate. Two certificates are of GoDaddy.

  A difference between the certificates, is the former has a cert that was generated through ISE and the new server has a generic cert imported.

  In any case, I hope this is enough information to understand the issue. I appreciate the time everyone takes to help me with this problem. I install a copy of the WLAN so that I can test the need and not have to wait for a maintenance window.

• BlackBerry Smartphones could not contact the customer service

  I tried to contact customer service and I hit the proverbial block wall.  I need to talk to someone to get the PIN number on my daughter's blackberry.  It's a safety issue, and I can't go to the customer service.  She asks her ESN number and when I get it, I get an error message that is not valid.  I called both his phone and other attempint of mobile phone to get through without result.  Is there a number to get hold of a live person to explain the problem and the need for change?  If all goes well there's someone out there who can give me advice.

  And if you intend to ask for the PIN for your daughter has changed, you can not.

  Pins are hard coded to the device and cannot be changed.
