recovery of the Trojan - BNK.Win32 - Keylogger.gen and XP Home Security 2012
"I just get partially of the" XP home security 2012 through Trojan - bnk.win32.gen "virus/malware on an old xp sp3 computer that is protected by MSE and all updates were up-to-date until yesterday 1/3 when the virus is shown. How MSE failed I don't know, but even the "stand-alone sweeper' that I downloaded late last night would not find it or clean it. The virus deleted the files in system restore, shut down access to the Task Manager, turned the remote access to the computer "on" and created a user account for itself, making it an administrator. ". It has blocked access to the internet and little almost every executable there is on this machine. After trying every difficulty I could gather, including "computer beeps" suggestions, malwarebytes download, download spyware from doctors, I even tried downloading kav12.0.0.374en, I did the rkill and tkill but nothing find and eliminate the infection, at each reboot, that pop-ups will reappear after a few minutes.
Finally, against my better judgment, I ran "NPE.exe" of norton that I had to run because the virus kept blocking the executable running from security 'start of command-line only' mode. After graduating with the NPE success to start and run, he eliminated all traces of the virus and I rebooted the xp cpu with zero evidence that the machine was infected however the only way to use one of the applications is to go to the directory where are and run executables and windows applications, as all the games etc Notepad, wordpad, paint... tell me that the rundll32 has disappeared, but it is right in the system32 directory where it belongs. This computer is my mother, and there is no backup to speak, is there any where I can find the system settings to restore all other paths then restore the deleted system files?
Thank you

Hello nicktjr,
For specific questions on MSE, I'll post in the following forum:
http://answers.Microsoft.com/en-us/protect/Forum?tab=all
I would check there before another software antivirus running on the system to ensure that the two can co-exist without any problem.
The SFC scan helped to solve the problem?
Let us know.

MERGER OF THE ACE TROJAN/WORM / VIRUS (?) INFECT INTERNET EXPLORER. It is a strange malware, which, so far, has been incurable, it changes the homepage at http: / / fusionaceenterprises. which cannot be reset by any means. Even if the registry entry is deleted, it is restored. removing internet Explorer, and the installation of new copy of microsoft site also do not help. After that removal of several attempts it disables the option to change home page. Even if the drive is formatted, it is reported to come back. What about just internet explore and not any other browser, opera or firefox. It is a direct challenge to microsoft and its claims of secuity. It is there any help available anywhere. Its time microsoft should work and provide users with solution.

How to get rid of the horse of Trojan Win32.Downloader.gen XP
Dear Sir.
Spybot-Search Destroy & detected this-«Win32.Downloader.gen - Trojan» But it is impossible to remove this infestation even after several attempts. The computer has slowed down considerably. According to the information available on the Internet this Trojan horse may turn off the computer completely. I have firewall Zonealarm Pro and AVG Anti-Virus Free Edition. Have also installed the latest updates for Windows XP. Please help me get rid of this threat as soon as possible and suggest ways to prevent future infections.

Spyware is rampant in my Internet Explorer searches. How can I get rid of him?
I just got my computer on a workshop due to malware or virus infeciton... paid $100 and when we got it home, it was stil troubled. I am able to use Firefox without any problems, but my Internet Explorer 9 research is unreliable. Even if you see legitimate links listed, if you click on one of them, it will lead you to another window that has nothing to do with the question you cllcked... and looks very simplistic and completely false. I'm suspect spyware, but the calculation is impossible to install anything. Suggestions?

Why can not I reload firefox using internet explore for windows 8.1?
I'm trying to reload firefox on my computer which uses windows 8.1. I had the browser here for years. I tried to download many sites and it keeps stuck in download mode or I get the message that blocks windows. I've never had this problem before. It seems that Windows to try to block me from using firefox now and forcing me to use internet explorer, which I do not want to use, or Google Chrome.
Help, please

"The page isn't redirecting properly" problem on Mozilla Firefox and Internet Explorer 11
Hello
After installing a piece of hardware that increased the length/power of my wireless connection, and turned on my computer the next day, I loaded the 11 Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox, but the two would not load Web pages with a "http://" in front of the 'www. '; they would only Web pages with an "https://" in front of the «www.» This problem occurred with persistence despite me both browsers the reset to the factory settings. I looked at prior to this problem solutions, but none of them does not work (I tried to reset my cookies and that has not worked as well as made sure that the cookies on both browsers have been activated and that didn't work either), for me at least.
I would really appreciate if you could give me a quick solution to this problem that this problem affects my most commonly used Web pages.
Thank you and best regards.
PS My internet works and I tried troubleshooting, but no problem arose with her.
You can check the request and HTTP response with the Live Http Headers extension headers.

For the past two weeks, whenever I connect to gmail or iGoogle home page I get a message from avast! Antivirus (free version) saying that it has detected a malicious site. This only happens when using Firefox. No message is displayed if I connect using Internet Explorer 8. I use Windows XP Pro Service Pack 3, avast! Version 6.0.1367 (updated daily), Mozilla Firefox 10.0. I also use Malware Anti-Malware and SUPER Anti Spyware, bytes that are also updated regularly. The only recent downloads in my system were version 10.0 of Firefox and Microsoft Updates. I even tried to roll back to version 9, no change or improvement. This is the URL that is blocked, as shown in the pop-up message: OBJECT: http://74.50.117.107/js/je.php?u=739ec4a2-4903-4c0d-aee6-bdb3d2cdb87c & a = 200 & i = 111 & s = 0 INFECTION: PROCESS URL: MAL: C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe. What worries me, because it barely resembles the horizon, and I do not use IE, it is slower and does not include Ad Block, which I use a lot (apart from the fact that Microsoft is trying to push me to buy Windows 7 * IE9 does not work with XP *, which would require the upgrade my computer and for the moment there is no budget available.). When it worked before?
If you can go online, try to download Superantispyware free superantispyware.com and run a spy software on the pc and see if there is any possible infection.
Also try to reset the options of Internet Explorer from the Control Panel, network and Internet, Internet Options (vista) or control panel connections network and Internet, Internet Options when the window opens go to the Advanced tab and click on reset and put it back again and wait, click close and restart the pc.
See if it works.
