Internet Explorer not caused by Jinitiator 1.3.1.24

Anyone has any experience of the following errors of Internet Explorer 8.

*************************************************************************************
SysFader: iexplore.exe - Application error
The instruction at 0x0cdcc228 referenced memory at 0x0cdcc28. The memory could not be "written".
*************************************************************************************

I just bought a Dell laptop (E5400) and installed the Jinitiator for Discoverer. We have two versions of java to support oracle financial application and discoverer of more.

For a financial application, we use Java 6 15 version

Discoverer plus, we use Jinitiator 1.3.1.24

OS = XP Professional Service Pack 3

The financial application runs regularly. We do not know why, when I selected the responsibility of discoverer in IE menu and errors will be displayed after new pop-up window.

Hopefully someone can tell us the solution.

Thanks in advance.

Sammy

Hello

You have to uncheck the option "Enable memory protection mitigate online attacks" in the (security) tab in the tools > Internet Options.
This should solve the problem.

    Hi B Bartram,

    Let us try these methods.

    Method 1.

Run a full scan of the computer with the Microsoft Safety Scanner to make sure that the computer is virus-free.

    Microsoft security scanner: http://www.Microsoft.com/security/scanner/en-us/default.aspx

Warning of Security Scanner: there could be a loss of data while performing an analysis using the Microsoft safety scanner to eliminate viruses as appropriate.

    Method 2.

I suggest that you can exercise SFC scan and check if that helps. The SFC/SCANNOW command analyzes all protected system files and replaces incorrect versions with appropriate Microsoft versions.

    1. What is the message error that you receive on the Internet Explore after having installed the updates?

There are many reasons why internet Explorer would not work after the installation of update Windows.

I suggest that you install the update again and check if the problem persists, try the procedure if the problem below.

    Method 1

Check if Add-ons on Internet Explore are causing the error. I suggest you try opening Internet Explore mode without modules.

    (b) click System Tools, click Internet Explorer (No Add-ons).
