Error retrieve the web page, Internet Explorer not responding

Original title: Internet answers not questions,.

When I try to go to a web site with 9 of 10 times I get a pop up at the bottom of my page saying msn.com, or other sites, does not. Then the question box opens to said web page back? I click Yes, but nothing happens!

Hello

1 when was the last time it was working fine?

2. what version of Internet Explorer is installed on the computer?

3 did you a recent software or changes to the material on the computer?

Method 1:

I suggest you to run the Fixit from the link below and check.

Solve Internet Explorer add-on problems when IE hangs or freezes

http://support.Microsoft.com/mats/ie_freezes_or_crashes/en-us

Check if the problem occurs, if it engages in method 2.

Method 2:

Follow the steps from the link below and check

Tips for solving problems when Internet Explorer hangs or stops working

http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/tips-for-solving-problems-with-Internet-Explorer

Note: Reset Internet Explorer is not reversible. After a reset, all previous settings are lost and cannot be recovered. Rather than reset, you might want to reset specific settings in the Internet Options dialog box or delete your webpage history.

Note: there is a risk of data loss if all the files are infected and which can be removed in the cleaning process.

Hope this helps and keep us informed if you need help.

I use Dreamweaver CS3, I've made a few changes text to one of my web pages, I clicked on save, went to check on preview browser and it isn't here. What I am doing wrong?

If you downloaded files to the server and then surfed on your web page online, and changes are not displayed, your browser may have just cached the old version of the web page.

Web browsers cache things like html, javascript, css, images, framesets, and so on so that your browsing experience is faster you never see again the page.

Press and hold the 'SHIFT' on your keyboard while at the same time a left click on the button "Reload" in your browser to get the freshest version of the web page you just downloaded.

Please note that this technique does not always work if your web page uses frames.  If such is the case, do a right click in each picture and select reload from the context menu.

    Thanks for the help.

I had installed the update of MS Windows Defender KB915597.  After doing a restore to the point of restoration, taken at the time of the update, I am now able to open Windows Explorer.

Seems that something in this update does not work with my system.  I have had no other problems with Windows Defender updates in the past - it was the first.

  • OfficeJet 5740: 57 40 HP won't print Web pages - Internet Explorer and Microsoft edge

I can not get the HP office jet 57402 printing Web pages. I tried with Internet Explorer and Microsoft Edge. Both recognize the printer in their printed menus. There is no printing problem of Microsoft Word or Microsoft Outlook. The printer is brand new. Would be grateful for any advice.

    Hey @Nigel2,

Welcome to the Forums of HP Support!

I see that you have problems with your 5740 e-all-in-one printer Officejet printing 10 Windows PC. I can help you with that.

To start, make sure that the printer is plugged directly into a wall outlet, not a surge protector. Once done:

    1. If your printer is connected to your PC via a USB cable, remove it.
    2. Close any programs you have open.
    3. In your search type in printers bar and open devices and printers.
    4. Right-click on any icon of your printer listed.
    5. Click on remove the instrument.
    6. Repeat for all other icons of your printer listed.
    7. If you removed the USB cable, connect. If this is not the case, click on add printer and follow the prompts to add a print to your printer queue.

Please let me know the results after following the above. If you are able to print properly, click on accept solution. If you appreciate my help, please click on the thumbs up icon. The two icons are below this post.

  • How to disable the recovery of the Web page

Every time Firefox hangs and I try to reopen it, he always tries to retrieve the Web pages that I had opened. But this makes restart Firefox at least 4 x slower than usual and just wasting time for me. Can someone tell me please how to disable this feature so that whenever Firefox crashes I just start a new session instead?

"Restore a session after a crash."

If the content of this site has caused your crash (for example, a plugin crashes) restore your session can restore this page and cause Firefox to crash again. If Firefox crashes after choosing 'Restore Session', choose 'Start new Session.'

From Firefox 3.5, Firefox automatically restore your previous session after an accident (or close unexpectedly). If Firefox crashes a second time, an error page to "Restore Session" appears, asking whether to restore the last session or start a new session. If you don't want Firefox to restore automatically your session after a crash, set the preference browser.sessionstore.max_resumed_crashes to 0 (default is 1). [2] [3] "
