Internet Vista Wizard error

Out of the blue, I can't enter the internet Wizard. I've always been able to use this function, for more than a year to detect wireless connections.   Displayed message:

The wizard cannot continue

The wizard cannot continue and must be closed. You can try to run it later.  If the problem persists, contact your system administrator or technical support.

When I click on Show me more details, it reads:

The 0x800706BA error code means that the RPC server is unavailable. To resolve this problem, please follow the steps below.

1. click on start, search on start, type services.msc and press ENTER.

If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password, or click on continue.

2. in the Service list, right-click on the remote procedure call (RPC) Service, and then select Properties.

3. make sure that the service is up and running automatically.

If the steps above is not enough, you can try to perform a restore of the system to a date when the error arise.

To restore the operating system to an earlier point in time, follow these steps:

1. Click Start, type system restore in the search box, and then click System Restore in the list programs.
If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type your password or click on continue.

2. in the System Restore dialog box, click on choose a different restore point and then click Next.

3. in the list of restore points, click a restore point created before you started having the problem, and then click Next.

4. click on finish.

    I put really know why this happened, but to be honest, in my opinion 15GB or 16GB are not enough for Vista!

    On my second Toshiba laptop running Vista, I need 30 GB for Vista installation and all my programs. I n t installed many programs, only programs that I use really (desktop, Skype, ICQ, Photoshop, AntiVir, VideoLAN, etc.) and those 30 GB are only for programs not data! I stored my documents, pictures, etc. on the second partition.

    So in my opinion you should have at least 40 GB for Vista. If this isn't the case, you must upgrade the HARD drive.

    Click on Start >
    Type in CMD > 
    Right-click on the result, and then click on run as administrator >
    Then type sfc/scannow , and then press ENTER.
    Reboot your PC and try it a few times.

    Download and install the update tool of the system for Vista (Windows Update hotfix)
    "This tool is being offered because an inconsistency was found in the maintenance shop windows which can prevent the installation of future updates and service packs software."

    Configure the connection to obtain an IP address automatically

    1. Click on «Start», enter "NCPA. CPL"(without quotes) in the search bar and press"Enter. "

    Restore point:

    Try typing F8 at startup and in the list of Boot selections, select Mode safe using ARROW top to go there > and then press ENTER.

    Try a restore of the system once, to choose a Restore Point prior to your problem...

    Click Start > programs > Accessories > system tools > system restore > choose another time > next > etc.

    If restore work not and you do not have a Vista DVD from Microsoft, do a repair disc to do a Startup Repair:

    Download the ISO on the link provided and make a record of repair time it starts.

    Go to your Bios/Setup, or the Boot Menu at startup and change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order, then reboot with the disk in the drive.

    At the startup/power on you should see at the bottom of the screen either F2 or DELETE, go to Setup/Bios or F12 for the Boot Menu.

    When you have changed that, insert the Bootable disk you did in the drive and reboot.

    Method 4: perform an upgrade on the spot.

    Do a repair install, you'll need your product key and the Windows Vista DVD. You can also create a backup just to be sure.

    I am trying to install the latest version of Flash (file install_flashplayer11x32_mssd_aih.exe), browser = Firefox 14 (current), OS = Windows XP.  I tried several times, making sure to disable Norton Antivirus Autoprotect first.

    At some point throughout the process - while downloading or during Assembly - I get the following error message:

    By the advice of the site, I uninstalled Flash in order to restart costs. This means that, instead of having an outdated Flash version, I now none.

    I tried to RTFM, but research for this error go empty.  I'm curious to know why Internet Explorer being participates in it at first. But mostly, I'm just curious as to how to get this thing to work.
