interruption of audio output

I write an audio file from one minute to the sound card using the Labview 2011 his writing of exit vi.  The sound begins to play, and it doesn't seem to be any way to stop it until the entire file has played.  Not even the Abort execution button won't stop him.  I looked at the article called a stop during playback sound file, but it was written long before the release of his writing became available.

I tried using a structure of the event with its output stops and out of his clear, but it does not work.  In fact the event never fires.  It is as though its file written lock out until the complete. Example is attached.

There are no bugs.

In order to get the sound output Stop.vi to act as you wish, the audio device must be configured correctly. Try this:

1. audio output Configure.vi, create a constant for the sample mode enum and set it to finite samples. It would not hurt to wire a constant value 0 to the device ID if you have more than one audio device on your computer.

2. the Sound.vi game, wire a digital constant timeout (sec) and define the constant timeout (sec) to 0. Otherwise the VI expects that the sound operation complete and Stop.vi of sound output has no effect.

You can view LabVIEW for these two screws help to see the full explanation.

In your current configuration, hit the stop button while the sound is still playing will generate a buffer overwrite error on his Write.vi of output, since you abort the operation, while the data remains in the audio output buffer. You can ignore the error that is generally not a good idea. Otherwise, as suggested previously, you can assign the buffer size with the number of samples/ch control in its output Configure.vi and Sound.vi to play in loop send data the audio device into small pieces.

An easier way to do this is to look at the SoundPlayer.vi in the examples which does the same job for help to play his File.vi.

Loaded everything now, and he always says "no Audio output device is installed", even though Device Manager displays "Intel(r) Audio display" under "audio, video and game controllers".

The laptop is out of warranty.

    Any ideas?

Although Device Manager displays "Intel(r) Audio display" under "audio, video and game controllers".

It's probably the HDMI audio driver.

I just went and did a reset.

You hear you returned the laptop to original factory using Dell Factory Image Restore or other means Setup (what exactly?)? If using Factory Image Restore didn't fix the problem and you have tested the audio immediately before going online and perform updates, you have a hardware failure. Factory Image Restore is the gold standard to determine whether a problem is the result of a hardware or software failure.

  • How do I change Firefox's audio output device without restart the browser?

I often switch between different headsets and speakers using USB audio devices. Whenever I change to another audio device, Firefox does not change its audio output to match my current camera. Other programs/games follow suit when I change my audio device by default and I don't really like should I exit Firefox completely and reopen it to my audio to come through the unit. It is not a huge problem, but when I have multiple windows and several tabs open, it can be annoying to have to restart my browsing session. Tips to deal with this problem?

    Thank you!

  • Is there a way to have Firefox respects the audio output device by default when it has been modified while Firefox is open?

I've been a Firefox user for many years and I still use it as my main browser. A problem that has bothered me for years lies in the fact that when Firefox is open and I change my audio output device by default, Firefox does not respect this change and continues to play audio through the device that was used to originally. Even if you stop the audio and keep playing, does not change the output device.

Is there a way that this can be configured in Firefox? Now, if I listen to music online (e.g. Soundcloud) I always use Chrome because it is respect changing the default audio output even in the middle of audio playback device.

    Reproduce:

    1. start audio playback (for example a YouTube video; HTML5 and Flash are affected)
    2. change your audio output device by default
    3. audio will continue to play the original output device

  • How to change the audio output for the metronome

    Hello

I would like to send the metronome (and speech signals) for monitors to the scene in the ear.

I understand that I can do this in MainStage using different output for the above titles vs. the rest of the 'Concert '.

I tried to follow the instructions of the Manual:

Change the audio output for the sound of the metronome

    1. Choose the MainStage > Preferences > General.
    2. In the section of metronome on the general tab, choose another audio output on the shortcut menu to exit.

    PROBLEM

    1. on the general tab, only the outputs 1-2 are available/selectable (likely, these are also by default for all "Concert")

    2. Why is this process in the manual if it is not executable (without doing something to another additional Set up)?

    3. it's probably among the requirements of setting up more critical even easier for using MainStage with a live band, so why am I having to ask for help at all!

Rant on (its been a long day)

Grateful for any help to solve cela. I guess I can send the metronome (such as a click track) and speech signals on the same outputs, which are separated from the rest of the Concert... or should I change the outputs on the other tracks and keep the outputs 1-2 for the metronome marks / voice?

Thanks in advance for all advice and my apologies for my frustration. JM

To access the output audio, you need an audio interface with several outputs.

You upgrade to Windows 10 or was your system shipped with it?  If you can provide information about the system, I will be able to help you.

In general, if you went you could look for drivers updated on www.hp.com/go/support in support and drivers to see if a new sound driver is available.

  • WANTED m6 that no audio output device is installed

Hi, I was looking at a CD on my m6 DESIRE last night and it worked fine.  Today, I have the speaker with a red icon in the lower right corner of the screen and when hovering over it says "no audio output device is installed".  I tried to uninstall the device driver, but that didn't fix it there.

The driver for device "IDT High Definition Audio Codec" under sound, video and game in Device Manager controllers also has a yellow exclamation point.  When I uninstall and reboot, sometimes just with the yellow mark again.  If I try to upgrade the driver, I get an error message "Windows found driver software for your device, but has encountered an error trying to install it."  A device attached to the system does not work.

    I have an Equium L300.

It is normally a driver problem, in order to install the correct driver should do the trick. Please install audio driver for your laptop model. You can find it on the Toshiba support under http://eu.computers.toshiba-europe.com page > support & downloads.

By the way: do you have some unknown devices listed in Device Manager?

    Hello

Is this something new or you have noticed this problem in the past too?
Generally by default the internal speakers should be turned off when you connect earphones.

  • Satellite U300-152 - no audio output device is installed

The sounds are works well when I do update windows, update antivirus and updated some software like adobe air and adobe shockwave but when I open the laptop the next morning, there is a red cross marked in the speaker icon on the lower right of the laptop and it says : "no audio output device is installed".

I couldn't find the sound and game controller in Device Manager so I'm frustrated. Its been 3 days now, I use the laptop without noise.

Can you please help me in this matter?

My laptop is Toshiba Satellite U300-152
Windows 7 Ultimate but not pre-installed (Vista Home has been the pre-installed)

I tried to download the latest audio driver from realtek high defintion, but its still does not. Tried several restarts, System Restore, disable antivirus but does not yet.

I don't know what can be the problem but the fact is that updates Windows update offers some drivers and, in general, you should not install their Mr. with other words, you should only use the drivers from Toshiba.

What can you do now? Have you tried to reduce the OS to an earlier time (before installing updates) and check the functionality?

One last thing. Software driver Sound should start with Windows, then please check MSCONFIG > startup if the sound software is listed and enabled it.

  • Digital input to Toshiba 46TL-> no analog audio output to amplifier

    Hi all

When I connect a video source (e.g. computer laptop via DLNA) to my 46TL, output TV audio analog (red/white taken connected to an amplifier) does not work.

    It does, however, watching television.

Is it possible to configure the TV to read the audio data from digital input (HDMI/DLNA) to the analog output?

    Thank you for the help

Not quite what series of TLxxx you have, but for example the TL938 supports a digital (optical) audio output port that provides a digital audio signal.
Why n t connect the amplifier to the TV using this Jack?

Connectors for component video / audio to the rear of the TV are the ports of ENTRY and not the OUTPUT ports. So, you can send an audio signal to the TV and not the amplifier output.

Will be grateful for any comments. Thank you so so so much to read :)

    Hello

Go to the Device Manager and in order to choose the hidden devices.
Now you should see all the devices that are available on this system.

Now go to the sound, video and game controllers and remove the Intel(r) High Definition Audio HDMI, audio Conexant high definition Smart, etc.

In system devices, remove the Microsoft UAA Bus driver for high definition.

    Now, restart the laptop.

After the new operating system reboot Windows should recognize all devices again.
    Check this box!

If this does not download the Conexant audio driver and reinstall
