Interupts my volume bar program

Hey guys!

Really hope that this isn't a repost. I searched all night but cannot find any solution to this problem,

Well, the sound works like a charm and I havn't had problems so far, but there is something about the volume bar that I find quite annoying.

When I'm full screen in games, movies, programs and so on, every time that I try to use my quickbuttons for computer volume settings me tabs in the program and takes me on the desk.

Is there anyway to disable the bar so I can get rid of the problem.

I really appreciate any help, thanks in advance!

Hello

You will need to uninstall the MediaSmart SmartMenu application and then restart the laptop.  A good alternative for a volume bar that will not throw you back on the desktop whenever you use, is at the link below.

3RVX

  • Want to remove the ugly blue display volume bar.

    Hello

I have a HP G72 laptop, product number: WJ746AV, running Windows 7 (64-bit). Since I got the laptop I have had this view from the volume show when I adjust the volume using the keyboard:

All features remain, but it is very unsightly. He saw the usual indicator that appears on the HP machines. It corresponds to the WLAN indicator, black smooth (the WIFI light DOES not work for me). but, according to the list, my phone is not supported by HP MediaSmart and thus won't give me a good indicator. So, I installed 3RVX.

I have now two volume bars that appear, which is still unsatisfactory. I tried tweaking with different settings, but nothing has been able to remove this nuisance blue.

Anyone know how to remove it? It is intimately related to the hardware keyboard?

Although this isn't a critical issue, to help or to better understand the problem would be greatly appreciated!

I found a fix for this and I would like to share with anyone who might find this post with a similar problem.

I went into the control panel of the system by typing "msconfig" in the search programs and files on the Start Menu.

In the Startup tab, I have disabled "Realtek OSD for Volume / Mute. After a reboot, the ugly blue volume bar had disappeared, and now I'm free to use 3RVX.

  • Lost my Volume control program

It worked fine for years then it quit.

Lost my Volume control program - error below:
Windows cannot execute SndVol32.exe, use Add/Remove Programs Control Panel to install

Seems to lack of sndvol32.exe and I don't know how to reinstall it or where. Some sounds still work, I checked all the settings, search the drivers updated, all ran diag tests.

In Control Panel under the icon 'sounds' Audio I select Add the "speaker" of the task bar icon and the error. When I click on any button volume (s) there, I have the same error. I use the default sounds. I noticed the chest upward and stop sounds are gone as well. Main issues seem to be under the tabs ' volume and audio. Ideas how to fix?

Put your XP CD in your drive, do not let it start. If so, cancel it. Then:

Start > run > type msconfig and press enter or click OK > click on extract file > in the upper area type in second sndvol32.exe point box to your CD/DVD drive where the disc XP is > third box type in c:\windows\system32 (assuming that is where your operating system is installed) > extract, overwrite if necessary > re-boot for good measure.

You should now have your controls of Volume/mixer back.

If you only restore discs while you will need to perform an Internet search for sndvol32.exe and go on the forums various one - sometimes people post copies of this file that you can download at the above address.

    See you soon,.

  • Scrolling and volume bar does not not on my Pavillion dv7, model US notebook dv7-3060

I have a Pavilion dv7, model: dv7-3060US notebook.  I upgraded my OS from Win 7 Home Premium to Win 7 Ultimate.  Since the upgrade, scrolling on the Touchpad, (is is not off,) no longer works.  More, the touch volume control does not work properly.  The small speaker above the keyboard icon does not turn orange when the sound is muted and the volume on the screen bar no longer displays when you adjust the volume.

I saw other models with the same issue, but have not found an ad for my particular model.  Where can I find a solution to this problem

    Hello

With regard to the volume bar, follow these steps.

Download IDT Audio Installer on the link below and save it in your downloads folder.

    http://ftp.HP.com/pub/SoftPaq/sp48501-49000/sp48830.exe

One time finished, open windows control panel, open Device Manager and open sound, video and game controllers.  Right click on the IDT device and select uninstall - also, you should get a command prompt to delete the current driver, check the box allow this and then proceed to uninstall.

When finished, restart the computer and let Windows load completely.  Open your download folder, right-click on the IDT Installer and select "Run as Administrator" to launch the installation.  When this has completed, restart the computer again.

Question for the TouchPad, first download the latest program install Synaptics driver from the link below and again, Save in your downloads folder.

    http://ftp.HP.com/pub/SoftPaq/sp49001-49500/sp49392.exe

Then, open windows control panel, open programs and features, right click on the entry "Synaptics Pointing Device Driver" and choose uninstall.

When this has completed, restart the laptop.

When windows has completely recharged, open your download folder, click with the right button on the setup of Synaptics and select "Run as Administrator" to launch the installation.  When this has completed, restart the computer again.

Now, follow the process under the heading "Setting horizontal and vertical scrolling" detailed in the link below.

    Configure the TouchPad.

    Kind regards

  • missing volume bar

Hi, I use an iPad 2 and for some reason any volume bars have disappeared. The volume always works and is adjustable, it is only the bars that are missing.

Does anyone know how th can be fixed?

    Thank you.

First, try a reboot forced the iPad:

Force the restart (does not affect the settings/data/music/apps/etc)

    1. press and hold the sleep/wake button

    2. press and hold the Home button

    3. hold both buttons until the screen turns off, then back on with the Apple logo.

If no luck and the problem persists, see these topics:

iOS 9 Volume with Smart Cover bug indicator

Volume icon missing from ios9 upgrade

If you are on iOS 9.x (which means that all versions) and you use a Smart Cover, there is a bug when using the Smart Cover to to unlock the device. I don't know if it applies to the iPad 2 you mention. I know that the problem exists on the iPad 2 Air and the mini iPad 2 (at least).

  • Volume bar and shine

    Hello!

    Laptop: HP Pavilion dv6-6169er

Problem: I just installed Windows 7 Professional, after installing all the drivers (bios, video, audio, touchpad etc - all the standard drivers) there are no bar appearing when I press F9 - F10 (volume bar) and F2 - F3 (broghtness bar) - front bars for sure there (volume bar with the icon of Beats and bar itself). Functionally, it works, but no visual appearance.

In addition, if you watch a video on YouTube and press volume up and down on the pad (F9 - F10) - the volume is changing, but the indication, according to the video itself is freezing.

I tried several times to reinstall the audio driver, but this does not solve the problem. Help, please. Thank you!

    missing volume control

volume control was gone. I tried to go into my control panel to use it, but I get an error that says:

"Windows cannot display the control volume on the taskbar because the Volume control program has not been installed. To install it use Add/Remove programs in Control Panel. »

I have lost my Windows XP disc in a move and can't reinstall the file to a disk, how to fix this?

When you use certain features sounds and Audio devices, you see a message like this:

Windows cannot display the control of volume on the taskbar because the Volume control program has not been installed. To install it use Add/Remove programs in Control Panel.

It seems that the c:\windows\system32\sndvol32.exe file is missing.

This may occur if your antivirus/antimalware application thinks the file is suspicious and quarantines (effectively delete) the file.  You can replace the missing file with a backup copy of the file that is in another folder on your system.

Describe your current antivirus and software anti malware situation: McAfee, Symantec, Norton, Spybot, AVG, Avira!, MSE, Panda, Trend Micro, CA, Defender, ZoneAlarm, PC Tools, Comodo, etc..

Assuming that Windows is installed on your C drive...

We know that XP keeps copies of critical system files in the following folder:

    c:\Windows\System32\dllcache

Using the Explorer, search for or navigate to the following folder:

    c:\Windows\System32\dllcache

Locate the sndvol32.exe file, right-click, choose copy (it copies the file to the Windows Clipboard).

If your Solution Explorer settings are not set to display file extensions, you will see only a file called 'sndvol32' which has an icon that looks like to the volume control slider (this is the file you need).

If the file is missing in the dllcache folder, look for a copy of the file in this folder:

    c:\windows\ServicePackFiles\i386

Browsing from a level in the following folder:

    c:\Windows\System32

Right-click on an empty area in the window of c:\windows\system32 and choose Paste to paste in the missing file where it belongs.

Answered in the affirmative if invited to replace the existing file.

Now try your features sounds and Audio devices.

Note that run sfc/scannow will not replace the missing file because it is not this that sfc/scannow does.
