  If all you want to do is force the collection of host configuration, you can easily do it through the user interface. Since the host Host Configuration page-> last collected. In the menu actions, select Refresh. This performs all configuration immediately collections and downloads it to the repository. It will immediately appear in the user interface.

  You can also do this for 1 or several hosts at once by going to the company-> Configuration-> host to refresh Configuration...

  No need to mess with the agent...

  The problem is that COMP_REL table is huge. How can I use PLSQL collection (or table) to store the children of COMP_REL I need and then join this collection with COMP_INFO to get different data?

  I wish to have a smart collection for the photos I took to make HDR.

  These photos were taken of view/captured sequentially, therefore, most probably have almost the exact same time (perhaps even within the same second).

  -Is it possible to create a smart collection for these photos?

  (I know the collection could also include pictures I didn't mean to, but even when most of the potential HDR photo would be there...)

  A good way to make this selection for HDR/Pano is to select all the potential picture in library/grid and then use the command "Auto-pile by Capture time.  You can then place them in collections.

Many guests who authenticates the ACS are running the agent software that requests access to network resources and receives approval from the ACS. However, some hosts are not the agent software running. ACS solves this problem by using the MAC address of the host device to identify and authenticate the host.   However, when I navigate to compute resources under endpoint, vRA shows no clumps.

  What happens one? I'm going crazy?   Well, maybe, but actually part of the problem is that calculation of resources are not displayed when you think, until you go to groups - fabric groups and then check the clusters that you would like to use vRA.  Now when you navigate to calculate the select cluster resources will appear.  {shakes head and face Palm}

  Based on my system, I've created about 50 scenarios and 6 ODI agent. Each of the agent of the ODI is treated approximately 8 scenarios. It comes to my setup for the ODI agent: -.

  Based on my configuration, each agent ODI is then defined as 256 M.
  
  My question is that one better if I use 1/2 agent basically MAX_HEAP or used 6 agent with the above configuration.

  At the bottom left of the window, you will see the Maximum number of sessions. Set this value to 25 (or whatever the number)

  My client was originally IC agents set up to monitor some of its VM guests who were also controlled by the VMwarePerformance officer. This caused churn so I asked him to turn off the discs of CPU, memory and network of collections of IC officers. After he disabled the collections he concluded that processors CPU Utilization was no longer available. It is a measure he needs. If this is not available from the agent of VMWarePerformance then add us hosts to the blacklist of the user and re - activate the CPU, disk, memory and network of collections of IC officers.

  It seems that in your case the operating system is already be montiored so you don't need to create the home screen again. If you enable it, it will create another agent of the OS.

  So, I'm trying to set up a report, which contains some information of tablespace. The report must be sent to my e-mail account around 07:00 every day, so I have an overview if we run into a few problems with some full tablespaces. the report and mail notification works well but my only problem is, the data are not updated. There is a comment under each data table in my report which said that the data had been updated on 8 to 13 hours ago according to the target database. is there a way I can trigger the update of data report on a specific time? So I can update the data before you run the report job every morning around 07:00? I'm totally noob, so I hope someone can help me, I tried to google it but I couldn't find anything useful.

  Unfortunately, there is really no good way to 'schedule' collection for this because it is perceived with a dozen of other data points and likely to cause problems.   What you could do, is create a metric custom extension with query data file you need (simple Dungeon it do not go beyond what you really need to prevent performance problems), deploy the metric on all target databases, then disable collection of gui (metrics and collection parameters) and cron the collection to run at a period determined using emctl control agent runCollection : .   You can then create a report about the data collected in mgmt$ metric_current.
