Invalid ID, but still he says authentic

I just be reformatted my computer of the partion on that recovery is, everything is fine but still noticed under computer properties it says 2 days prior to activation or activate now. I went to activate now a says that my product key is not valid... but yet when I run the real tool he says authentic... BUT the two keys are different from each other AND the key on the bottom of my laptop is different from the others...

I am a little confused sine the tool says I'm valid with a different key which is on the bottom of my laptop. Any thoughts?

The tool uses the product key in the recovery Partition/disk which cannot be the same as the label on your computer.  You must use either the label on your computer if you installed the same system for your activation.

If you mean that you can not activate automatically, try to do it manually:

To activate manually, go to start, search, and type in slui 4 enter.  Enter your country and press Next.  You will be on a screen with a phone number and a bunch of codes below.  Dial the number and browse automatic guests until you get to a human being.  Have your handy product code because it will be asked.  Explain the situation, but it's the same PC and only installed on this PC.  They should give you a code to enter on this screen to activate Vista.

To solve the real problem (although I'm not sure that you have a), repost on the Forum of real advantage to:http://social.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/genuinevista/threads.

I hope this helps.

Good luck!
